@@leithazizpagy4699 you could mod them in, shame there a never was a Korean release of Slash or Accent Core, we could've gotten tracks for A.B.A and Order Sol
@@bbeckford90 In 2014, yeah, due to medical malpractice. He was having stomach issues and the doctor operated on him without consent. His death was initially ruled a heart attack but a last minute autopsy discovered the malpractice (he was about to be cremated when the decision was made to perform the autopsy). The doc had his license revoked, fined and spent a year in jail.
@@derekfcc There are actually quite a few Power Metal bands that do this neo-classical Castlevania-ish music. One specific band that comes to mind when thinking about Castlevania is Dionysus.
It’s been officially 2 years since they announced the Korean ost in Strive, I really hope they’re able to get it in and aren’t stuck in a legal hellhole trying to get it
I never thought they'd even consider adding these tracks to Strive since the composer passed away. It would make for a great tribute to his contribution to the franchise.
The Korean version sounds like music that was based off only the characters portraits and a brief background. I like it since it gives off a completely different vibe.
Can we get more vids of Max vibing to fighting game OSTs? I love this Edit: especially now that I know he listens to DragonForce, my 2nd favorite band 👀👀
SO GLAD THIS GOT UPLOADED! Hearing Max listen to the Korean OST was amazing, as even I was blown away by the specific tracks in it. ESPECIALLY KY's! I've heard that for over 10 years and had no idea what it was from! That's how you know the OST is amazing from that track alone!
I LOVE this version of the soundtrack! My little brother had it on CD and I had it in repeat! I'm working remixing some of these tracks. So glad you discovered this stupidly underrated OST. Slayer and Testament's themes were probably my personal favourite being a castlvania fan, they hit all the right notes. 😂 This video has made me so happy and I hope it gets alot more attention to the Korean version of the soundtrack now.
I have bought through ITunes ALL 3 Xrd OST’s in my phone, including Smell of the Game from Strive. I’ve never heard these KOREAN songs! There incredible! And I’m glad Max likes Dragon Force! Through Fire and Flames will always have a place in my heart!
How could I forget?! As soon as Maxhit play, I started humming along! Liquor Bar & Drunkard will always be my favorite theme, but the Korean OST was fire.
Lol I've been headbanging to this OST for years. I thought it's awesomeness was already well known, but I'm stoked more people might be turned onto it now.
Pillars of the Underworld (Ky's theme) was the track I fell in love with first. It's awesome that the Switch version of AC+R allows you to use this version of the OST for the different modes of the game. Truly an amazing work, rest in peace Shin Hae-Chul.
Love the Korean Reload soundtrack is finally getting recognition. Still have my Robo Ky Metallic Edition of Reload for PS2. :) EDIT: Dead silence (Same character ex ?) and seizure (Zappa) is pretty good. :D
I can’t believe I accidentally picked this CD up at Sakura Con a couple years back. Thought it was just the normal XX ost. This was so much fun to discover and share with my friends who were into GG.
Funny thing, the Switch port of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R has the Korean OST as an option (of course, songs that appeared in the game since the Slash revision will use the default song like the two songs for Order Sol and A.B.A.)... at least in the European version... which is the one I have an actual cart for my Switch.
0:46 *DUDE!!!* I've heard this song several times in combo videos and various other things from _years back,_ and NEVER realized that was a _Guilty Gear_ song!! _Holy nostalgia trip, Batman!_ 🎵😲⚙‼️
i heard Millia's theme on a DMC3 Combo video so many years ago... and i was never able to figure out where it was from. Though i never listened too much about it... i was always curious why the Korean version had a different OST.
I'd love to see Max and the YVG crew react to Strive's full themes with lyrics displayed. I wouldn't be surprised if none of them really listened to the whole themes.
@@joumbra6027 I do the same thing, but for this part I watched it live and it's one of Max's best reactions. I already know the context and I just want that "THIS IS WHAT THIS IS FROM" moment of catharsis
