"With a pit in my stomach, I called my people and asked. "Has Mount Everest formed upon my desk?" "With a laugh they told me. "It's not the Everest, it's the Moon" I love Leo, i hope he's back in GG2020
Well, things just gets worse for Ky now that he realized he is officially in-laws with Sol. Not to mention that Dizzy's mom is already back to her original form and will definitely pay Ky's family a visit with Sol sometime down the line xD
Back in the day, Mortal Kombat with its ever increasingly brutal fatalities. Today, Guilty Gear, where the vast majority of the characters are straight up good guys and one of the most powerful is a straight up pacifist whose 'fatality' causes her enemies to surrender.
tbf for Sol, Sin eats a lot of food. Rather than give him fancy things like Tea, just better give him a bunch of burgers. It's definitely quantity over quality for him.
Jona DER Jona nah, Sin is more likely got a taste of that when Sol is drinking. Sin loves it after that, and Sol basically said every time Sin request it “just drink normal water”. It’s not Sin forced to drink it, it just Sin loves it.
well Sol did kind of pamper her back in the forest, unlike with Sin where training and getting stronger is a primary focus for life as a mercenary rather than luxuries.
@@RedOfFlames I was born as a poor on southeast Asia so yeah its true .. Anything that can put any flavor on your rice would help to swallow it, there are days where we can have "luxury" meal with a cheap potato chips and rice . I am glad we are so over with that
@@ryoumakoushiro7447 or just Sol uses the money to maintain the Junkyard Dog and his bike while using the remaining money to buy the cheapest food for Sin to eat.
Wait.... So Sol taught Sin to drink energy drinks by throwing a bit of salt and sugar instead whenever he did something good? Wasn't that still proper parenting?
Mr. Badguy It's a Japanese culture thing. It implies that Sol wasn't willing to spend money on kid's drinks and instead just had him drink sugar water which is a sign of poverty in Japan. Ky is pissed because he has been paying Sol large amounts to raise Sin with for clothing and food which Sol presumably spent on his and Sin's weapons/gear, and booze.
Malikonious Joe wait a second, it’s beer. Japanese has penchants of adding some salt into their beer to improve the taste and foam of the beer. While what you’re saying is correct, when we consider Sin’s accounts, it’s more likely an alcoholic beer.
Guilty Gear Strive: Story Mode preview Reporter: Earth wind and fire were heard from the USA penitentiary at midnight. The International Police Force has not reported back, leading the top brass to fear for the worst. Leo: **Spits his coffee** Reporter: The terrorist duo responsable for this attack is comprised of a young man with an eyepatch... Daryl: **Chuckles to himself** Reporter: ...And some Freddy Mercury-loving motherfucker. Ky: **On the phone. Get him on the phone! I WANT HIM ON THE PHONE RIGHT NOW!!**
The guilty gear cast is so amazing I tried to look thought the characters the first time without knowing the story and I though leo might be a bad guy but he just looks mean no one in the roster is hazuma evil all of them are trying to do good even bedman and raven
So, um, Ky is stronger than Sol and always has been, and Sol was scared shitless of him before realizing he had that whole "honorable duel" personality. That is... huh. Wow.
This is an interesting callback to a certain story route in GGXX. In one of them Ky gets jumped by an army of roboclones. And comments that if he was his older self from back in the war then this wouldn't even be a problem. I'm not sure it's about pure power and more that during war against monsters he could be a merciless and cruely efficient killing machine.
Sol still definitely seems to be the stronger one if you consider his raw power and feats, but Ky seems to be more battle proficient than him skill-wise. This match doesn't really mean much when you realize that both are sandbagging and are not going 100% at each other. Sol didn't even transform and Ky was still being tame with his attacks. Sol's talk about Ky being a killing machine with brutal efficiency and him being intimidated by him in the past does not really imply who's stronger, it's just that he is afraid of him because it is possible for Ky to be able kill him. Instead of thinking of it with a DBZ-like powerscaling perspective of who's stronger, just think of it this way: the past version of Ky that Sol was afraid of is basically like Kratos in God of War, someone who fights beings/gods that are supposedly stronger than him, but because that someone has more combat prowess than these higher beings, he can still slay them. But in Ky's case, instead if Gods, he kills Gears.
pretty sure weve never seen them fight each other for real.... ever that shit in gg1 was at most a spar, hell im pretty sure i never saw Ky really go all out even once since the damn games started
It's crazy that the whole time, Asuka was framed for a lot of the crimes done to Humanity, and while his methods were sometimes questionable, he tried to redeem himself and help the world overall against Chaos
Sol is the father, Justice is the mother, Dizzy is the daughter, Ky is the husband of Dizzy, Sin is the son of Ky and Dizzy and the grandson of Sol, everything is simple :)
@@kusamaID Well, technically, you can say that yes Elphelt, Ramlethal are also daughters of Justice, but it’s already completely dark there, potentially they appeared from her DNA, maybe they will talk more about this in the next game, but considering how long it took them to directly say that Sol father Dizzy can details will not be soon)
@@AnTiHrIsTiS thanks for the info. I got lost there for a minute. I don't really play GG that much and I don't paying attention to the story. But it's funny how the reveal of the family tree in the ending of the previous game when they in the ship.
Hey mate, don’t forget to strike while your heart’s iron is still hot. I’ve had few regrets, but those ones have been the times I never had. It’s better to of tried, so at least you never have to wonder what if. Open your heart, and ask your crush out. Who knows, maybe just maybe, you’ll find he or she too wants the same.
And Ky loves her a lot as shown when Sol taunted Ky into attacking him by using Dizzy! That really made him very mad or else why would he blast him like that.
