Here's the thing: Guinness World Records isn't actually realistic. It costs over $2k just to get your record reviewed, and the person who confirms that it is actually legit is the person who submitted the record in the first place. Guinness is actually a business solutions company and is just a tool for businesses to market with. If you watch the video "Minecraft Stairs World Record", it was a sponsored video from a gaming event and Ali-A won the record with only 18 stairs in 1 minute in creative mode. Companies pay Guinness reps to show up to events and get their name in their book for advertising purposes. Guinness comes up with the weird records that haven't existed before, that way the company they're working with is guaranteed to break it and get in their book. Many people beat the record and submitted it, but it gets left on the "pending review" part at the beginning until it expires 6 month later and they want you to re-submit. They offer $800+ packages just to have your record attempt even pass the "pending" stage. It's all a scam. I just watched a video on it that was in my Recommended section two days ago about it.
