It's very good to see more arch tops making their way on to GOTD. This is especially so when we have such superlative players on hand to demonstrate the instruments - Kirk really knows his art and is such a likeable personality, too! One thing I know, I could hide behind this lovely jazz box!

Anybody noticed the pick vanishing trick at around 5:00? Kirk flatpicks, fingerpicks, strums with his index finger and flatpicks again without losing a beat. Smooth ....

I wandered into Harvelle’s in Santa Monica one night when Kirk was playing. He was amazed me for several hours - and he hasn’t stopped since. His playing is so fluid and his ideas are so melodic.

very funky , Kirk always looks like he's having so much fun , and who wouldn't with all these great vintage guitars , this one is gorgeous , for a 66 , it looks brand new , luv the maple back guitars and the ebony fingerboard just seems slicker than the rosewood , sounded great , always looking to learn some of those funk chords , very cool. thanks guys.

Gorgeous guitar! One of my favorite position markers, with the DIAMOND headstock, representing the top of that model series. Take plenty of LYSINE, to keep the viruses from replicating!! It works!! Nice playing!!

Great demo from a great player. I believe Kirk's right about 'the other LC'., the late Larry Coryell. Memory gets foggy but I believe in the early '70s, Barefoot Boy and Fairyland covers had him with one.
