Great reaction - it's nice that you use this channel to get to know music you wouldn't encounter otherwise. Dirty Loops is just an amazing band and their way of using all kinds of influences in a tasteful setting is sublime! And on top of it very funny (like the over the top mic'd up EBS you noticed). Their credits are often full of fun stuff too.
Thanks for this reaction 🙏 Yeah, I’m one of those people who normally don’t listen to ‘pop’, who don’t know the first and last thing about bass and drums, not a singer or keyboardist either… but thoroughly got turned on to all this by Dirty Loops. And bro is that bass tone beautiful 👍 Yes to all the observations on his staccato notes too, muted perhaps?, and then again SINGING at other times! Henrik is a beast. Aron as well… And Jonah and his layered vocals?! Not sure if you have heard their tracks “Work Shit Out”, “Next to You”, or their cover of “Thriller”. I just came across your channel for the first time and checked out your list of videos. I see a lot of the same artists over and over, and think you might like to expand your reactions. I'm a 70s guy with a 70s bias, but open to everything. Here are some of my favorite lead guitar songs of all time- Look into the future by Journey (before Steve Perry); Rolling Stones Love in Vain live 1972; Outlaws- Green Grass and High Tides; Joe Satriani- Flying in a blue dream; Lou Reed- Intro/Sweet Jane, off of the live album Rock and roll animal.
Your take, from your perspective as a guitar guy, is very refreshing- as your analysis I enjoy watching you reacting to Dirty Loops, and hope to see many more
So, if my understanding is correct - the fact that he uses 6 strings give him access to a part of a regular guitars register, right? Basically - no pun intended - he´s one baseplayer and a half guitarist in one person, right?
