@@dreaomine1008 The song doesn't make sense if it's about Kliff and Dizzy. If you just make all the pronouns the same, you can see that the male and female pronouns are referring to one person. You can see this the most clearly in the line "And yet, he did not reject the light herself", which doesn't make sense unless it's the he and herself refer to the same person. Also, if it was about Kliff and Dizzy, based on the lyrics, that would make Tetsament's theme about the nonexistent relationship between Kliff and Dizzy, which would be weird to say the least. There are also some lines that just wouldn't make any sense unless they were about Testament and their mindset.

@@DweezyBreezey i think it's about Testament seeing the relationship between Ky and Dizzy and how Ky accepted Dizzy for being a gear and then Dizzy accepting herself, which after seeing all that Testament finally forgave themselves for all the stuff they went through early on and accepted that they're worth something too. At the end it goes "He believes (Ky) we (Dizzy, Testament, gears in general) are one of a chain.

@@DweezyBreezey No way it isn't about Testament themselves lol. Between the character description, the VAs in English vs Japanese, and the lyrics, it's pretty clear Daisuke and co. are just doubling down on the whole neutral/ambiguously gendered situation Testament's got going on.

Not bad but Xrd probably has the weakest soundtrack compared to others not counting the Korean OST. Outside of the new character themes and vocal themes I didn't vibe with a lot of the returning characters themes.

Xrd in general, has good rock ballads (at least in my opinion). I don't know why I missed 3 songs from Revelator (Freesia, Blank, All I can do), but when I finally listened to them... I almost cried.

I love the Strive OST so much, I think the only track I didn't like at all was Jack-O's. Even Disaster of Passion had a ripping guitar solo.

They went so far into referencing Megadeth that they made Naoki sound absolutely awful in the verses. Truly staying faithful to their inspiration. Jokes aside, it's pretty good, but it didn't make me go "wow!", unlike Goldlewis and Baiken. I'm glad they put a reference to Testament's previous theme though, that's what Mirror of the World was missing.

Agreed. Since Daisuke want to put so many references in all his songs simultaneously, I think he would do better making all of them superband-like, with many vocalists, each for the best fitting parts.

I think the only theme that I wouldn't listen as much is baiken's theme, the "tribal" vocals didn't get me as much, the last bits are really nice tho

btw the "tribal" bit is literally just the Buddhist "Mantra of Light" (coincidentally also known as the Mantra of the Unfailing Rope Snare... and Baiken has a tether rope grab, huh... 🤔)
