I've seen this several times in Korean Joseon era Dramas. To get to see it made is really awesome!

Oh my goodness now I know how to use my Gujeolpan tray that a cousin gifted me while visiting Korea! My mother had told me that it was used for Korean royal court cuisine, but she passed away before she could teach me how to prepare the delicacies for it. Thank you Maangchi
