@@TheSonicDBZ Light novels and video games too. I own a few that haven't been translated into English, despite not knowing how to read Japanese yet (with games it's a little easier since I understand about 60-70% of spoken lines).
I can't stop replaying 0:56 Edgeworth: "So close! Please stay away from me. My apologies, but please stay away from me." Oldbag: "Eeh... "Please never leave my side" you said?" Edgeworth: _"Wait what-"_ Oldbag: "YES MI-CHAN!!" Lmfao
Edgeworth"what are you doing here?" Wright" uh... i can explain..." Edgeworth" alright then explain to me right now why you are here with Larry?" Wright "..." Larry "..." .... In whisper Larry "we need to get away from here now..." Wright nods Edgeworth "wright?" Wright" oh look at the time! I should better get ready to the courtroom soon. From a case i have got ready for today. Bye Miles!" Starts running away from Edgeworth with Larry right behind him. Edgeworth "..." Edgeworth "what?" The lady "now where were we?" Edgeworth "oh no..." XD
I would start panicking, so that’s not good. It’s an actor playing one of the most charming characters in the game, I will feel so happy, yet stressed.
I guess he's saying "let go, let go of me. What kind of power is this?(not exactly the same but i didn't know how to translate in English correctly) " a bit late but better than nothing... I guess. Also neither English or Japanese are not my main language but I think the translation is somewhat correct(me if not) :)
@@tabbywaslostflyhightweek4992 Funny thing is, Phoenix's actor is great at the harsh type of character. The role he played in the Prince of Tennis musical was the most uptight character in the entire series; imagine Phoenix being the type of person who bitchslaps people for acting out of line (and tells opponents he'll seal their skills and send them to hell).
A little background from the Chinese translation that I know... Larry was using Edgeworth's name (and probably pic?) to date with this girl yumeko online and they arranged the meeting offline. but yumeko's friend (the one who gives the punch lmfao) who happens to be a boxer gets suspicious and protective, and dressed as yumeko to meet Larry but somehow caught the real Edgeworth to dine with her. Larry panicked so he fetched Phoenix to deal with this (narumitsu intensifies). the boxer showed Edgeworth their message online but Edgeworth refused to acknowledge it, so she called out the real yumeko, then Edgeworth caught Phoenix and Larry and figured out everything... and Larry got the punch as expected. funny thing is as Edgeworth figured out in an instant he mumbled 'right...', and Phoenix stepped out answering 'YES!!!'
At 3:32 It's Wright saying "see you later" (look closely at their faces, only Wright is speaking) then Edgeworth stares at him and then walks off without replying
@@blankness8 It's hard to hear because of the music, but in the full version of the play you can hear Edgeworth going 'hmph' before he turns around and struts off.
They make it look so convincing, and I was losing it when that lady just picked up edgeworth and he just looked like a brick And phonix and Larry hugging was just so strange
That time when Edgeworth saw Phoenix and Maya and he just... turned and left I almost died laughing best scene ever And that pose he does before picking up his phone because of Steel Samurai ringtine was golden
I absolutely love that even though I can't understand Japanese, the character still comes through so well, and the actor for Edgeworth absolutely nailed the facial expressions and body language I loved it
This is hilarious oh my god how did I overlook this before, losing my mind at Edgeworth being knocked out and just carried off stage, and the dorky little dance to his ringtone is so good, where can I watch this?
i love that they had to make sure seats were empty so that they could do that beginning bit. they had to intentionally NOT sell tickets. it was definitely worth it tho
Ahem, Japanese speaker here, I can translate this, but first I want to make sure it is of use (this video is pretty old) so if anybody wants translation, please reply. Thank you. Sincerely, A Japanese fan girl living in America.
