I absolutely love this so much. I was about your age when I started weightlifting 13 years ago. Back then women were rarely seen at the free weights section. I had all sorts of interesting interactions with people, including a guy coming and yelling at me, telling me that “I lifted like a man”. You ladies make me so very proud. hi, i’m not ‘bulking’ but i’m going to eat like 200-300 above my maintence cals (obvs eating enough protein n fibre) but i’m wondering should i be cautious of the fat content that i eat and keep it as low as i possibly can? or is it not that deep because it’ll hopefully go to my muscles rather than my stomach
fat is important for your hormones. Calories in vs calories out, doesn't matter whether it's protein/carbs/fat, it's still a200-300 calories and will either be stored as fat or used to build muscle.
