I have to agree with you on the comfort, quality and supremely conforming lining on C&J shoes! They are by far my most comfortable shoes and the upper quality only gets better! Thanks for the review! Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks for the review. I was debating if I should get CJ Oxfords or Derbys. Now I'm leaning toward the derby after this review. Do these shoes run a size bigger? Do you have to size down from regular shoes like sneakers? Thx again.
Hi - thank you for the fantastic content! Would you recommend sizing similar to the Alden Barrie last for c&j 378? I'm a 10 D US on a brannock device. 9.5 barrie.
If you reach out to me on IG @wishoeguy I’ll show you a pic of the two in the same size. The Barrie is significantly longer. If length is your only concern you might want to take a 9 instead of an 8.5UK.
They did very well. All my Goodyear welted shoes do well. Rubber soles, leather soles none of that really matters as much as having a good enough rotation to let them dry fully. Even suede will last forever if you let it dry and brush it out.
These are lined whereas my Robert was unlined. They also had rubber soles compared to Robert’s leather. That said the quality of the shoes is very similar. trickers stitch density is more open than CJ which to me means they’re looking for a less refined aesthetic but the quality is there by every measure. Absolute gems to wear.
@davidph123 they’re both great but if you got a pair you love I’m sure it’s fine. There are so many choices on the Robert, CJ only has a couple options.
I just stumbled upon your channel and am interested in the subject matter. However, it's going to be difficult for me to subscribe for one reason and one reason only. Bro, you have to speak into the microphone. If I can't clearly hear what you're saying, the video becomes pointless. I enjoy your enthusiasm and appreciate your hard work, but, please, I beg you, speak into the microphone. Thank you, from someone who wants to subscribe to your channel.
