Reminds me of a time I played a TTRPG where our sniper had a shoot-then-reload sniper rifle. I stood by him and used my turn to pick the rifle, reload it and return it, effectively doubling his firerate lol
would anyone like to see more blackpowder/ civil war guns? like the old colts 1860 army, 1858 remington, colt walker and dragoons? that would be amazing

The moment I saw the NTW-20 set up, only one thing went through my mind: "Bitches Love Cannons!" I'm sincerely hoping there's a 30mm rifle coming at some point, or at the very least a mod for one. I've always been an absolute sucker for grossly oversized calibres, and nothing says "Fuck all 12 of those sosigs conveniently lined up" like a 30mm HVAP to the dome. XD
I'm loving the scopes and DMR love. I've always preferred the precision and satisfaction of those kinds of guns, I was worried finding them/making them would be hard to do in this but apparently you're just doing it for us!

Hey Anton, thank you so much for the work you put into this game. I have been having a blast with it since I bought it. I was wondering if it’s at all possible to make slidebolting possible on Meta Quest 3 with simplified controls. Seeing such a smooth bolt pull like in the video at 5:11 made me wish I could do that on my control scheme. Thanks!
New long-range toys is great, definitely appreciated, but we really really need a new outdoor map where we can actually put them to use. Northest Dakota is just old and tired, man.
4:41 In my case, I dislike that rifle because the spent casing seems to teleport out to the right about an inch and then flies straight up when working the bolt. Yet I simultaneously really like that rifle because it's Mike's rifle from Better Call Saul.
I have been playing H3VR for quite a few years now and I honestly think whatever you created here is frankly incredible. As an aspiring game designer myself though, I wonder how on earth you could work so earnestly on something for such a long amount of time without being burnt out?
Oh I've burnt out many times, and partially recovered each time. I try to keeps things fresh. It's part of the reason my focus shifts within the project every couple months.

With the mk12 mod 0 and the mk12 mod 1 in the game, the only thing missing is the Mk12 mod h to make the list complet. Using them with an lpvo with a piggyback red dot will be fun.
I've been missing that feature for my quest 2 as well, really makes it difficult to do take and hold runs with bolt actions. I don't want to buy Vive controllers just for one feature
@@D3D_Rid3r turn on quickbolt, and hold the bolt action rifle with both hands. Tap the forward button on the front hand as you pull the rearward hand up and back to cycle the bolt back, then just push forwards and down to push it forward and return your rearward hand to the grip
Teammates in take and hold would be sick (with score disabled), could we see any teammates in any other gamemode apart from meat fortress anytime soon??
Hey anton, I noticed the lee enfield virtual stock has you at the wrong eye relief for the scope it comes with, did you catch and fix that this week? If not I can go report it properly

An AUG in the devlog? Finally it's my time to ask Anton to add an F90 Austeyr to the mix. I think I'd literally buy a better HMD than my silicone lottery loser Vive if it meant being able to use that thing. (edit: I got Index controllers thinking it'd make all the difference but the mosaic display still made me nope out, It's a real shame.)
Playful, which is almost definitely what you should be using, since you can't physically place your head on the stock of a rifle in VR. Objective lens diameter also has a lot to say for the exit pupil/eyebox though. As an example, the 6-36x56mm is a lot more lenient than the 3-9x36mm at the same magnification for this reason (the number after the 'x' is the objective diameter).
@@kid1027 Didn't know you could get cheekrests for VR, but yeah, I'd say so. Realistic is kind of unreasonable to use practically when you're aiming the gun with just two floating controllers and no point of contact with your shoulder and cheek.
Hello Anton! I would like to share (possibly) a bug regarding the control on Oculus Quest 2 controllers, when moving, the weapon starts to twitch a lot (I don’t know if the problem is in my controllers, or in the game, because after going to the test version, that’s all started) I just decided to tell you about it, just in case. (I have vanilla version without any mods)
I have a question. I played long time ago and last time I played(about a week from now). I noticed that there is no bolt in bolt carrier in ak platform at all. And bolt carrier is cut. I just want to ask why is that? I mean maybe I remember old models or you had to change it for performance reasons(or some company made you idk). I know I am picky 😅
Love the game but recently for some reason it stopped launching in headset (stuck in quest 2 loading menu) meanwhile it’s ready on desktop, searched everywhere nobody seems to have a solution. Has something like this happened to anyone?
Is it just me has the update not been released? Haven't found the mk12 and the mentioned scopes remain the same. (yes i am on the experimental branch) Did i miss something? (resolved)
@@AntonHand Restarted steam a few times but no difference, i did forget to mention that in the menu it does say b4p1. So it's just the content missing somehow

@@AntonHand oh sorry, I forgot we are not shooting 6 feet tall sausages with guns. Why not add additional sounds into options? Like realism settings and user settings
Tbf the AKs are in a pretty good spot for the most part. The ARs have desperately needed an update for a long time and now they sound and feel much better. I'm just hoping the bolt drop SFX on other rifles like the SCAR are updated to match in terms of quality. That old bolt noise is kinda pathetic.
@@The1337guy1 There's only the AKM, AK-101, and AK-74N(not even the AK-74M) There's no 1p29 or 1p78 optics for them, and no AK-103, let alone foreign AK variants like the Zastava M70 or Chinese Type-56
