I think I got the SLAP round joke, but for those curious: the gun that blew up on KY Ballistics was the Serbu RN-50, not the BFG-50. Im glad you went with the BFG though, I imagine it would get annoying unscrewing the RN-50 for every shot.
Yeah I don't have intergrated systems for doing something like that action. Would need to make something custom. Also yes, that would be super annoying to reload :-P
@AntonHand I think it could be fun, though, even if it just acts like a cork you pull out the back. Would make for some tense moments in T&H fiddling around with your bullet tööb while being hunted down by sausages.
@AntonHand this is the one time I can say, modders might beat ya to it. Meatyreciever has some cool failures as well. Just not kaboom thumb in the neck failures. So glad he recovered though. Love KB
New toolbox changes are alwase cool they really add alot of replayabolity if your willing to put in the effort. You know what alwase puts in the effort, the C8 canadian carbine.

@@henriquesenn1828In all seriousness though, it’s a good gun. Both in Phantom Forces (due to the damage it deals for its handling) and in H3VR. I’m slightly disappointed that it isn’t the 36” barrel variant (so that it can actually live up to its name in comparison to the AR50a), but it’s nothing a Medium Barrel Extension + Impact Muzzle Brake can’t fix… that combo specifically used with API rounds because screw armor.
Always be aware of the pressures of your specialty rounds and what the pressure limits of your firearm are! :) Also when reloading the internal mag bolt guns, it was always fun to just catch the ejected round and load it back on top
As someone who plays Limited Ammo GI Grayson religiously, I agree wholeheartedly. The bolt-action rifles in that mode are some of, if not the only multi-shot weapons where you aren’t punished at all by reloading mid-magazine since you keep both the ejected round, and even with partially full clips, you can still reload to full if you shot that many rounds or less. Not quite as good as a battle rifle or carbine later on down the line, but I’ve also had success in getting a Mosin Obrez from the first supply point and keeping it as a secondary to a Carbine or SMG, as a backup weapon that I can quickly draw and kill someone in 1 hit with depending on aim.

I’ve got good news for you! It’s just as accurate with SLAP rounds as the AR50a, and since it shares the same barrel length, it also happens to be more compact. In terms of it being an ‘oh no’ weapon, it’d be true if it were a spawnlock run, but with limited ammo, I’d think it would be almost god-tier in the beginning rounds, and even near the end when taking out the higher health encryptions when paired with, say, an assault rifle for backup.
i love how much care and devotion you put into this game, you can really tell when someone puts love into something and it just makes a fantastic product. like the 30-40 Krag-Jørgensen rifle ;)

Thanks for the bolt action retention fix! Bolt actions are my favorite weapon type in the game, and the bug was making them significantly more frustrating to use, especially in intense situations.
Maybe not in this update, but i gonna wait for new RPK based tactical shotgun - Vepr-12. We have already a Saiga, but this gun is wack and don't have customization bout at all, and Vepr gonna be nice addition and tactical version. Plus, i want Vepr in game, cuz i have one irl
Veprs are actually better than Saigas irl if I remember right due to being based off of the RPK receiver instead of a regular AK receiver, possibly meaning tougher loads that would render a Saiga unsafe would be perfectly fine in a Vepr. Also, considering it has a bolt hold-open… maybe the tacticool variant could make use of a bolt catch…?
@@camarokidbb4347 not only Veprs based on RPK is tougher than a Saiga, but Molot Arms made them in better quality than Kalashnikov. Veprs tanks bigger loads of powder, eats cheaper ammo, and looks better. Plus bolt catch had both guns, but on Saiga it's MANUAL on button....
Hey Anton have you considered adding an attachment or item to handle the ballistics calculations? At this moment being able to set MRAD with the dials with the new scope system is kinda useless since there's nothing to tell us what they need setting to
You mean… like a Ballistics Tracker? Memes aside, using the dials themselves is kinda pointless when using regular rounds within 1km, but the dials come in clutch when you’re using a round with completely different velocity (M903 SLAP or M962 SLAPT compared to every other .50 BMG round), or using a gun that doesn’t seem to correlate very well with the base zeroes in general (i.e. the DMR15).
Fantastic work as always, Anton! If you’re taking suggestions, I would like to suggest a paint gun and revolver rifles. Pain gun because it adds more customization for rangemakers, and the revolving rifles because their design seems like the kind of silliness that you like to add 😊
Hi Anton! Could you add some older guns to the game please? For example: Chassepot, Dreyse needle gun, Hotchkiss M1909, Chauchat, Villar Perosa, Lebel Model 1886, Gewehr 88 and 98, K31, Krag-Jorgensen, Ross rifle and meybe even Alofs reloading magazine. I think these would be awesome!

You should TOTALLY add a beretta model 70 chambered in either .22 .32acp or 380acp. It’s also Ellie’s pistol from the last of us and I feel it would be a fine addition to the game since it’s kind of old but is still a neat little toy.
2 Things I would really enjoy that are completely unrelated to one another: 1: A way to clean Squarel remains after blowing them up. 2: I recently had an idea for a really embitious buil project and realized 2 things were preventing me from completing it, the first being how when I start noclipping, I lose the ability to micro adjust my position using dual stick controls precisely, dividing how accurately I can place things by about 10 times thanks to my very small play space, and secondly, I'm far too shaky to be able to place things precisely using the tool guns, they're great for getting things roughly aroun where they shoul be, but once things need to precisely line up, you have to be an IRL marksman to actually be able to do it, I'm not an IRL marksman, I place a few dozen things, imprecisely, it then either crumbles under it's own weight, I accidentally knock the whole thing over trying to place the few final blocks or once finished, it looks bad because of how imprecisely everything is placed, whichi is extremely frustrating and is kind of sapping my want to continue working with these tools, so I would have a request for a tool box pannel that would greatly help with my projects, hoping I will be able to describe it properly in this next paragraph. Let's call it the precision coordinates editor pannel for now, I would like to be able to use this pannel, grab a lazer pen like the one from the mobile item spawner, to sellect objects in the world, once the item is selected, there are a few values and arrows you can click, some checkmarks you can click and unclick, you would have the item's XYZ coordinates, clicking the arrows would move it along each axis by just a tiny bit, something like 1mm at a time or something, maybe another portion of the pannel let's you change between moving by 1m, 1dm, 1cm, 1mm or something, then you have it's XYZ rotation, which let's you move it 1 degrees at a time, maybe another part to change between 90 degrees at a time, 45 degrees at a time, 30 degrees at a time, 15 degrees at a time, 10 degrees at a time, 5 degrees at a time, 1 degrees at a time, then the last section would have the checkboxes, should it's gravity be activated, scould it's colision with other physics objects be activated, should it be grabable, and one last one that would be nice for building things meant to be destroyed, should it's physics be asleep until directly interacted with, floating in mid air after being precisely placed, but then act as normal if grabbed, shot, it by another physics object, ETC... hoping something like this wouldn't be too much of a nightmare to make.
If there is any particular gun I would want is that I'd want a PPK in .32acp for a 7 round capacity or a PPK/S in .380 for the same capacity. I like the one in game, its just not 007 enough :P
idea: unique very long barrelled break action .22 rimfire that’s only chambered in a unique round, “.22 super duper long”, which is .22lr but extended to over a foot. the barrel is actually only something like 6 inches but the length of the round makes it look way bigger
You can recreate the M82 with the Bomber brake on the M107, but I’ll agree that having the M82 proper would be fire (as well as the M99, specifically in .416 Barrett, so the Intervention has competition in the AMRs-that-can-use-Hollow-Points field).
The AR50a is actually bigger than this, which kinda sucks given that Serbu offers a 36” barrel option, but I do appreciate the compactness of its semi-bullpup nature given that I can get away with longer barrel extensions and still remain relatively compact compared to the AR50a. Also yes, this is the first bolt-action to even be close to bullpup (if I remember right).

Honestly, I don't think Scott would find you making a joke about him hetting SLAPped in the face disrespectful. Every other youtube gun guy did, and he seemed to get a kick out of it. He's the type of guy to find humor in his own misfortune.
Bug Report: Spawning both variants of the m3 Grease Gun caused the came to crash and I also believe allot of the older models will do this. It could also be windows 11 however.
One small thing that really bothers me is how melee weapons are held. Things like knifes are really choked up and when in reverse grip are being held like a banana. I'm assuming it's keyed to Index controllers instead of Quest controllers, but that's something that I would really appreciate being fixed.
I like it - the new rifle looks a lot like the ridiculously powerful Ukrainian Lord of the Horizon rifle, except that's in 12.7x114 rather than .50 BMG.
I’d absolutely LOVE to see the Horizon’s Lord in-game. The fact it now holds the record for the longest kill distance at approx. 3.8km would make it PERFECT for Duney Range. Also, some trivia about the caliber it uses, it’s necked down to exactly the same bullet diameter as .50 BMG proper, so it should take the same ammo type variety as .50 BMG (including Mk211 and SLAP rounds; the former for even more ridiculous 1-hit potential, the latter for even more ridiculous velocity, quelling my thirst evermore for a practical ‘normal’ railgun that can accept scopes).
Slow as they are, the cartridge they shoot is still incredibly versatile, and both the single shot .50 BMGs are preferable over the Tankgewehr imho. Even regular APIs (or as regular as an API round can be) can take out heavy NVG sosigs with a headshot no problem, and a medium barrel extension + muzzle brake is also enough to get them to gib due to both the shot and fire damage. If it helps any, especially on a map like Northest Dakota, the Big Frankin’ Fifty is just as accurate as the AR50a, and also (ironically) happens to be more compact than the AR50a. Then there’s the goofiness that are the Mk211 and SLAP rounds. The Mk211 rounds from experience can one-shot an unarmored (or even a lightly armored) sosig literally anywhere on the body, even at Northest Dakota’s longest ranges, and pairs greatly with a suppressor. SLAP rounds (also from experience) happen to not only be faster than other rounds, but also more accurate out to distances of 2km (aka MUCH longer than typical sight-lines) where other ammo types struggle, and also happen to 1-hit anywhere to the body of an unarmored sosig, but it’s more temperamental about it than Mk211.
