There is a major problem with this video - this applies to WOMEN especially. (I don't need to explain myself). I can't believe she is projecting women's flaws and deficiencies onto men. We need to hold Courtney accountable - this is the problem when women think they are qualified to pontificate to men rather than women.

@@hotstreak9805 I agree, and I'm glad someone else noticed. These apply to (mostly Western) women more than men. We've all seen it, and if someone hasn't, they're blind. They basically want a guy who can have a rocket built for travel to Pluto and back, and then brag about it their friends. Most of the guys they want are usually 10+ years older and not single. Even if they are, it still begs the question why those women even deserve a guy like that in the first place.

About the point of "focusing on problems, not solutions", does anyone notice that's kind of what Courtney does most of the time? I mean, it's usually pointing out problems for people to self-diagnose, but then offers not real solution. Take for example overspending or overuse of social media. If it was so simple to cut down on how much time or money to spend, what difference will she make preaching about it? We might as well tell strangers what hobbies to try taking up because we know them so well and have their best interests at heart. It's like telling someone to quit smoking, but unfortunately the solution is not as simple as just insisting they stop

This is so true. My brother who straightened his life out. Quit drinking and drugs, held a stable job. Got a nice car, apartment, and furnishings..everyone felt he was doing well. But, he had this expectation mindset where he thought...ok i do these things and ill attract a trophy girlfriend. My life will be complete, we'll have kids and settle down..after a few years of living this lifestyle, he threw away everything he'd worked for because he couldn't find a lady that was looking for the same things. So, he went back to his old ways. Because he hooked up with low quality women. He met one, that brought him back into his drug addiction.

I'm at that cliff edge myself. Except, I was "the good son". Always did my chores, homework, and help out with my younger siblings as my parents worked. I didn't fall into the trap of chasing girls, drugs, and parties. Instead, I enlisted, stayed focused on my education, (First a degree, then a trade license) and then WORKED...ALOT! I can count the number of vacations I have taken on one hand, literally. It has been a cycle of school, work, military, rinse repeat. Why? Because I do not like being hungry, cold, and homeless. Yet, in spite of all my sacrifice and efforts, here I am, a 44 year old virgin, and a family that wonders why I do not have children of my own. While true, I am NOT entitled to a woman's time, however I certainly didn't deserve a life sentence of hard labor and gene death! I'm about ready to say F it, and throw my tools away. I retired from the service after 26 years, I can quit the other job. I can throw it all away too. I knew I should have been a POS...

That is my EXACT story. To the T. Even more so, because once my ex took my son and left the country, like she threatened to do, i started using opiates and fentanyl. I haven't even seen a picture of him in almost a decade. Then I got clean, got a car and apartment, decent job, but after about 4 years of being single, and being clearly rejected multiple times, I just fell back into using. That was 6 years ago now, and I'm still injecting large amounts of fent and sometimes coke daily. Also now my teeth are beyond fixable, and my track marks make it so that I don't even feel comfortable fully opening up with people. I tried applying for door dash this week, but apparently a felony from 2011 is too much for them to hire me, despite them saying that they'll only take the past 7 years into consideration. The only thing I was really blessed with was good parents, if it wasn't for them, i don't know where I'd be. Loneliness is truly the worst feeling in the world. I even avoid going out in public sometimes, because just seeing families and couples enjoying life makes me feel like absolute shit, and probably something I'll never have.
@davidlenz9902
@davidlenz9902 Год назад
@@tailgunner2 I'm sorry for your troubles man. Sounds to me like you're a decent, honorable and dutiful man. You definitely don't deserve to deal with extreme loneliness, as you, and many other men are. In any other time or era, you would definitely be able to find a tender, loving spouse. Only in this decadent society does doing the wrong thing attract interest in women (eg- being a felon, or selling drugs, etc). Women are followers and virtue must be instilled in them, optimally by a father who shows his love through his work, as well as being faithful to his wife and family as a whole. Instead, women would rather be a side chick to a so called "high status" guy, rather than being loyal to a decent and virtuous guy. I've seen it over and over in my life. Women are becoming more hypergamous, and while their standards are technically increasing, they're increasing in superficial qualities, such as how much money a guy has, or whether they immediately find him physically attractive without even finding his character attractive, rather than looking for virtues, such as prudence or wisdom, or any virtues or values that will project long term security and stability. But of course, women don't need men anymore... They're "independent", until there's a flat tire. A lot of people may look at this and just say that it's men complaining, and being insecure, but the truth is that women control sexual selection, as well as the females in almost every mammalian species, and therefore they should be held to at least some degree of responsibility and accountability. There's a reason why a huge plurality of men are beginning to complain, and it's reflected in our declining national birth rates, which is horrible for any society. For any society to at least sustain itself, it must at least keep it's birth rates steady, and literally every western, first world nation isn't. There's a reason why Eve leading Adam led to man's fall from grace, because it perverted the natural order, or the laws of nature (God's law, ie- the divine logos). There is at least some justice to how you feel, but as we know as men, stoically keeping those emotions of possible resentment or indignation in check is essential to stay productive. I feel your pain brother, and just know that there are plenty other men out there that do as well. I'm not going to lie to you and say that everything is going to be alright, and that you'll find a woman eventually, or sit here and yell you to deny your own biology by saying "f*** women altogether, you don't need them". That may be where you're at, but I don't know that, and as a man you still have instincts and needs as well. Again, all I can say is that I feel your pain, and that many many men, including me, are going through the same issue. Be strong brother.

What I think people struggle with is knowing what they are passionate about - people put themselves in jobs that only bring an income but they don’t actually find happiness in it. Gratitude is definitely important. Social media creates jealousy and anxiety, following the news also creates anxiety. What people need to do is live in the present - forgive, learn and forget the past and the future is not here yet. I do what makes me happy - helping people, listening to people, always being in nature, listening to music, looking after my health. What people also struggle with is not being able to be alone, being alone you are confronted with your fears and insecurities and promotes healing when done correctly - these are all the things I learned by being alone. I agree with you on being with positive people too, I’ve managed to turn my inner voice into positivity, all negative things that happen are a learning experience for me or that’s just life, it’s how you deal with them that makes you wiser. I’ve also almost completely stopped swearing, it’s negative vibes when used in the wrong way and the biggest for me is being authentic, I don’t live a fake life anymore. Im sure there’s a tonne of other things I can think of but these are just a few.

Not caring for one's health is like punishing oneself--and there's lots of ways to do that--and it can be hard to avoid. Some people become too happy/satisfied and they just become lazy or complacent and others become angry/frustrated and quit. I think you should set a major long term goal and always work towards it no matter how you feel on any day. Because at the end of the day that really does bring a genuine happiness inside of you

I get in at least 10k steps per day outside of my every day routine, and while I don't deliberately listen to what strangers are talking about I do hear segments of conversations and I've noticed a lot of people seem to live vicariously through the lives of others. These people are seldom positive about it either, usually putting down those they're focusing on. While adjacent to some of the topics you've spoken about it's different enough that I thought I'd mention it. A person needs their own things/lives to focus on. If you don't it can be bad for your mental health and will inevitably lead to the inability to better yourself. Can't improve yourself if you're more focused on others, even if the intent is to make yourself feel better. I'd go so far as to say it will make a person regress.

1, not taking care of yourself is not an indication of happiness. Only judgment and projections on those who think it is. Usually gym/ health and wellness folks are extremely depressed, egotistical, narcissistic and are coping their unhealed wounds with a "healthy" activity. Still coping. 2, focusing on the problem is always the solution. 3, financial status is not an indicator of happiness. Wealth is a temporary man made construct that come and go like the tides. If wealth is your concern. You live in fear and ego and have little understanding of what being human means. 4, overuse of social media is a good one, but that applies to all. And reliance on tech is only asking for trouble. 5, you will only be happy when the goal is achieved. Happiness is a temporary state of emotion that comes and goes like the tides. It requires work and you will only be happy when the work is done. And only temporarily. Than on to the next task.

One of the things which I think is really important is to continue upgrading your skills once you start working. I get that people might be fed up with studying after they have finished full time education. However, in my opinion, if you don't upgrade your skillset from time to time, the risk of being laid off increases. This is why I feel very strongly that people have got to try to invest as much time and money as possible in taking courses after they finish college. When I started working, I took a break for a few years of doing any courses. I used to spend quite a bit of money in bars, sometimes by myself. After a few years, I got fed up with it, and realised that I wanted to do something useful in the weekends, and in the evenings. This is when I started taking evening courses.

For younger men its different. I am going to be 67 in a couple of days. I grew up an hour away from where I live today. Anyway, most of my friends I met at work. The big problem is the younger men don't want an old guy to socialize with and I would probably feel uncomfortable as would they. We would probably not relate. The guy's my age or close have families, wives, kids and/or brothers & sisters. I do not. Because of this they do not socialize. Let's face it they have their own lives. Which I understand. When I left my jobs they dropped the friendship all together. I thought it was interesting about the human connection. Since I was 9 my hobby was collecting board & card games. Then when the game consoles and later the computer games came out it was great because for us lonely we could play against the AI. It was always there. After a few years I went back to board & card games because what I missed was the human connection. I love a good strategy game. Playing the computer it always predictable. Playing a human is not. The fun is doing something unpredictable throwing a human a curve he did not expect.

Hello, you bring up some very good points about things, however genuine humans and friends do not care about someone's age. Some of the people I associate and get along with best are even 80 or in their Nineties, and even though they may have many limitations, they are a pleasure to be around as people. The problem is most modern connections are only made on the basis of what you can do for other people, it's not about a real connection, it's only about being "seen" or "associated with" by others, especially on the basis of what you do for work or how much you earn. Which explains why those you mentioned had "dropped" you after you left your job. So they were never genuine to begin with. Genuine people these days who are indifferent to themselves and superficial factors, are extremely rare, but then again most of these people never even consider whether they actually like the other people in life that they "hang out" with. I see a lot of people who will hang out with losers even in public, only because those losers "provide" something like drugs or something else they want. It's almost never about enjoying that person's company.

Something that always stuck in my head from a motivational coach years ago ( T. Robbins ) was this: What can I do, Right Now, to improve myself or better my situation or circumstances in a positive way. Right Now. That means I don't really need to have any useless downtime. I can be working on my health be at the gym or wherever ... I can work on my diet, I can work on my brain, learn something new ... Maybe from a book ... I think one of the most challenging things in our times is the endeavor to be Original ... In anything. It's not easy. But not impossible either. Endeavor to be Original and not just go off what the next person is doing seems good to me ... Of course learning from other is absolutely essential in many ways ... But trying to find your own niche, and at least making a valid attempt at originality ... That is a noble, courageous and maybe even sexy endeavor. ☺️

Not fulfilling your desires and still be happy is hard, nearly impossible. You can tell yourself be happy with what you have, but most men have a growth mentality, it goes against their nature. I personally think number 5 can be the best thing for growth, but you have to know your boundaries.

I found out earlier this afternoon that I was removed from a school club for something I said that violated club policy, even though I am still confused about it because I can't recall saying or doing anything that was deemed hurtful or harmful. Best thing to do about it is to move on, I guess. Always hurts to be kicked out of a group, especially when one feels like they did nothing wrong, but once it has sunk in, there is little to nothing that can be done about it. Best course of action is to learn from it, appreciate the time one had with that group, and move on to the next group with the mindset that the same mistake can be avoided the second time around. And that plays into who we choose to associate with.
@spirit-smithentertainment-89
1. Not Taking Care Of Yourself - I don’t have exercise schedule down yet but I do have a new schedule new things going back to school like a film school three days a week I get up 5:30 to get ready and be waiting 6:00 for my ride to get me school which is like a door to door transportation, eating healthy foods, B2’s, take hot & cold shower everyday to wake up and have a ice cold protein shake, and presenting myself I always keep on grooming stuff, and always wear fresh clothes everyday and wear mostly all black clothes. Then on on the other two days I focus on exercising, like on Monday’s & Friday’s I bike a lot like a lot a lot then I walk a lot too, & jump roping as well and then focus on more woodworking like hauling wood with bare hands 25 pounds or more and all that. So I should incorporate that stuff into a routine for Monday’s & Tuesday’s. 2. Focusing On Problems Instead Of Solutions - I mean yeah no one likes hearing negative thoughts from others but then sometimes people need to understand that you don’t have to play a victim if things don’t work out in what you want to do because there are points when people have certain things that they can or cannot control like one people can’t control if they a disability that prevents them from being successful in what they want to do say it’s filmmaking and the person with the disability wants to drive but their disability requires them to take pills, or say the disability prevents the person to multi-task like that’s a legitimate thing and so their are limitations that’s not playing the victim card maybe other people that are considered normal or average people can do things that us people with disabilities cannot do people say oh you can’t do it be surprised even if we have to find transportation ourselves it is much more difficult to get around when transportation is so fucked like it’s not easy it’s harder to get around but we have to make do with the limitations we have and get places we need to be. 3. Overspending - Now here is the thing about money it’s so sky high so I am gonna have to save money for awhile for Sac-Anime Event for a Anime Con and so that’s something I will have to save money. 4. Overuse Social Media - So I do go on social media but only when it’s necessary so if their is something I like then I take a photo then done. 5. I’ll Be Happy When - So for me I am happy with myself more than anyone else I have people I hang out with but only when I can and I don’t spend a lot of time with people as much as I used too but when I do it’s very little, and all that. I do have a family but it’s not gonna be as big as it was and all that but that’s life and life goes on I have to have positive thoughts on shoulders even if it’s sad that fact that I have very little time with my grandparents and I have to be spend more time with them before they go up to the man in sky. I’ll be happy and try to be positive when sad or not.

Important things as well: First thing 0:31 - Not taking care of yourself, Second thing 3:05 - Focusing on problems instead of solutions, 3:38 (agree with that. Find a solution for pollution 😉😊🙃🙂), Third thing 4:05 - Overspending, 4:40 (don't mix with being cheap, and responsible), 5:18 (agree with responsibility), Fourth thing 5:35 - Overuse of social media, 6:49 (so true about that as well), Fifth thing 8:35 - Your circle, 9:37 (agree with the boundaries as well, and the toxic people will get out of your life as well), Sixth thing 10:31 - I'll be happy when, 11:23 (we can control the way how we respond on situations), and 11:32 (agree also with happiness as well). Maybe sometimes overthinking can lead us for unsuccess as well, and also listening what the others say (no matter how might somethings won't work for you). These are maybe seventh, and eight things among the mentioned things as well. Of course you can make a part two, or as many parts of the mentioned video if it's necessary as well. Of course this is a suggestions. But since it's your channel, do what's best for you dear Courtney, pretty lady 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤❤. At the part sixth I can add one thing when we will be either happy, or better as well (and I have mentioned that quote in one of your videos as well Courtney). And that was mentioned by Patriarch Pavle (Patriarch Paul - you can find it on internet if you are interested as well). He told this: It will be better, when we are feeling better. I can also add a similar thing as well like this: We will be happy, when we are felling happy as well.
