@maj.kennethwithrow8390 2 minutes ago (edited) THIS IS A INTRIGING NEEDED TEST.. THIS IS GOING TO EITHER STING OR VINDICATE HAILEE. If for some strange hypothetical reason, Even with Joey Logano driving experience & knowledge. Still somehow finishes in the mid 20's or 30's we now know it's the car & the crew chief's setup. If Joe can't get the 15# in front of the field at the finish how can Hailee Deegan do it. I've been in Nascar sense Winton cup, 65 years of HANDS ON Racing, I've witness many great Drivers with 2nd grade refurbished power plants & never got to the front. Joe will be racing against JRMS & Hendrick HP. Even Smoke said Hailee Deegan is a Hell of a driver. But you need a Great Car & Setup. This is an Acid test for the 15# car & Hailee.
SVG has been racing longer than Deegan has been alive! He's a multi-time champion. That said, he does well road racing, but with his experience and equipment, should be finishing in the Top 10 every week. He isn't.
I have been saying for a few years I don't think she puts in the necessary time with her teams to get better and spends too much time on SM. I like Deegan put not enough effort from her.
I can't imagine why. Just today she posted a RU-vid video of herself and her brother whooping it up on the beach. I assume the rest of her team was in the garage working their butts off. Her career is on life support at the moment and everyone knows it but her.
@@garyjackson3531 And you don't understand racing. She can go on Good Morning America for three weeks straight and it won't advance her one position on the track.
@castandblast1852, she was bad in ARCA too. She had success in the K&N series by intentionally wrecking other drivers for her own gain. That's why Toyota dropped her from their racing program.
@@IsaiahNation-nx6zg No team is going to sign a driver to a full-time contract that A.) Isn't capable of racing full time for health reasons, and B.) Can't get full-time sponsorship. Her equipment isn't the problem. She has good equipment. She had good equipment in the truck series and took a large number of trucks home in pieces because she wouldn't listen to spotters.
It’s a ton of work for sure, but for most of the teams there’s no funds in the budget to pay for drivers. They rely on drivers to bring additional sponsors and money so they can run. The truth is that most “pro” drivers are promoters and marketers first and drivers second. It’s really two full time jobs.
If her dad spent as.much time and money.helping skills as he does with her brother.it would help. She is not focused and lacks maturity. She giggles at everything. Her.boyfriend leeches off her and is unemployed.
Do you ever watch/listen back to your uploads? I don't think you do. Anyways.... this is a smart move. Who better then a 2x Cup Series champ to drive the same car she has been driving to evaluate it? Use to happen ALL THE TIME in the 90s and 00's.
How much can the drivers actually focus on the races? They get 20 minutes to practice. Then they get 2 laps to qualify. Then they go racing. Her only other options for racing are to get a part-time ride in ARCA or to run some of the CARS tour races when NASCAR is on the east coast. The teams don't get hours of practice like they used to, nor do they have the ability to test whenever they want. NASCAR has heavily restricted the ability of teams to test at all. Racing on the simulator is very different from racing in real life.
@@aaronthomas6155 spot on !!! everyone has to understand this year was a testing season nobody wants to talk about two weeks her crew chief made bad calls ran her out of gas for no reason but a gamble and then called her to pit road under a red flag to which gave her a DNF then 3 weeks of brake issues! one week rotor button part failure then one week car lost ability to steer seemed to be a steering rack issue. this season it's not all on her one bit ! there was also 2 tracks with rain out practice and qualifying @ tracks she has never turned a lap @ truthfully i think she hasnt done as bad as it seems facts wise! yes two week this year she made pit road errors speeding witched cost her a top 20 .. not use to pitting under green mistakes had to be expected
@jabber1990 I know you aren't particularly intelligent, but most rides in professional racing are "bought." Few drivers are hired just on talent. Most drivers in NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula One, etc bring sponsors to the table. If they didn't they'd be in their mama's basement eating dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese like you!
She should've stayed at ARCA until she, herself, felt ready to move ahead. She was young and they used that against her. NASCAR seems to be the only series she has had trouble competing in.
About time, will be bad news for Hailie if Joey can finish top 10 or run near the front for most of the race that will prove she is driving a good car and flat out doesn't have the talent or the guts to drive at that level which she proves every race anyway
She's brand new in the NASCAR series, give the girl a chance for christ's sake. There are plenty of big names that have been doing it for years that have had worse seasons
Definitely moved up too fast. She should have also been running late model races or other East/West series races. ARCA racing once a month was doing nothing for her development. Leaving Toyota was not a great move either. Ford has been lackluster across all three series since the end pf 2020 and the overall pipeline has been weak. A lot of factors that could be called excuses but a lot of bad decisions from her, her management and her teams that are coming back to bite her in the butt now.
These diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) have failed yet again. In business, politics, presidents and vice presidents. Always the sone. Ethnicity, skin color, or gender are not a resume criteria.
It’s so weird in this video your mic keeps switching between a lot of reverb which is hard to listen to and then back to normal sounding mode. Maybe check how that happened. Thanks.
When she says she's hanging out in the back because of wrecks. Wrecks can happen in any position. Passionate dedicated drivers would want to be in the front not hang out in the back. After she said that i lost everything for her
Now if Joey Logano does get a great finish with A.M. Racing, then could the consider other driver to drive the #15 car for one race like Ryan Preece, Kaz Grala & maybe Justin Haley for restrictor plate race? I think A.M. Racing cut back Haillie Deegan to a part time in 2025.
@@DennyDelivers0 Will Brown is looking at 3 races if he can get backing at RCR... Waters has backing from Ford so might do a few US races in different levels depending on calendar...

I think this is a good move, as Logano, might be able to impart something that will help Deegan's Mustang do better in future races. I am a Ford fan, but certainly I am concerned that Deegan may get dropped. Yes, she might she might need to go back down to off road racing or a lower series like Arca so that she can come back and do better. B-NASCAR Fan-Gardner
I mean I called it when she was moved up to xfinity. I said then in a comment on somebody's video that she'll never finish better than her 13th at vegas unless she MAYBE could get a lucky top 10 on a superspeedway. She's failed to prove me wrong yet lmao
It feels like she's been around forever, but she's only 22. Heck, there are multiple drivers older than her running in ARCA. I'm curious where she would be if she would have just stayed down there and kept learning instead of being brought up so quickly?
I heard it this afternoon when Dave Moody announced it. I wonder how much Ford had to do with this? They are the ones providing her with support and there are not that many seats and a lot or good drivers.
@@battles423 have you ever watched her ARCA races? She moved up before she was ready. NASCAR used her just like they did Danica. It takes way more discipline to run ARCA than NASCAR anyway, you have to learn to set up your car to last the whole race without pit stops to make performance changes throughout the race, like in NASCAR, and then not use up your shit to just finish the race.
@@philbuell6657 ARCA was a good start for her. She definitely needed more seasoning there. But the sponsors and media want to see a woman in the big show and on par with the men. And she’s definitely easy on the eyes
where do you go with that comment though " shes not very good" and i agree but cup drivers Ryan Preece 7 years cup racing, no wins average finish probably 22 Corey Lajoie 9 years cup racing no wins average finish 22-24 probably its hard to get a leg up in Nascar, when competing with money or names
I know that I will never get a straight answer from AM Racing on why they chose today to do this but this time of year ago they were 20th in points. Today they are a bloop and a blast away from being outside the top 30 in the Xfinity Series points. Another question I wanted to ask was how far apart was Brett Moffitt from returning to AM Racing because they can’t get any worse than this
@@roymcdre9180my thought exactly. It's not an adequate comparison if they're trying to find what's going on with the program. In her in car audio I keep hearing the same thing about the car in the corners. I get the sense that the car is not being set up to her because it's almost always similar complaints. Except when they had part failures.
grabs a bit of attention before either she gets booted and takes all the funding with her. Or it could just be a one-off and the team's around as long as she wants to be around. Doesn't sound like joey's bringing money anyway, just cup experience and notoriety.
She should be required to sit right next to her crew chief and listen to him and Joey talk about the car and the strategy as he’s running her car around in the top 10 all race😂 if she won’t do that fire her dumb ass..
I remember, when they made the deal to move her up to Xfinity racing, all the guys that said she was too good for the truck series and she is ready to move up to Xfinity. She is a product of DEI, as part of Ford 's diversification program and NASCAR's. Even though she wasn't doing that well in the truck series they still moved her up even though there were many more qualified drivers. Maybe if she at least stays in the mid 20 standings that will qualify her for moving up to the cup series. LOL
Honestly I think she needs to be given a 3 race deal in the cup series. One speedway, one short track, one road course. I honestly think the style of the cup cars would be better for her since they drive more like sports cars than stock cars. With the money she bring it could really help out a team like Wood Brothers it sucks for Harrison but he’s out at the end of the year anyway.
AM racing really took a dumb short cut. Just because Deegan brings sponsorship doesn’t mean it translates to race results. She was prematurely brung to the Xfinity series when she clearly didn’t have nothing to show for the truck series. I think after this race in Chicago heads will prevail, & prove that it’s not the equipment, it’s the driver
She was really good on the dirt, Stadium Trucks, Micro's, she should just stick to that. Problem is they keep moving up these girls too fast. Or she does an John Hunter Nemechek and goes back to ARCA. Do a start over.
This comment section is more entertaining than most of NASCAR's races. The only words/phrases I haven't seen offered by way of excuse to help Deegan are: "The wind was blowing" / "The kitchen sink"-everything else has been covered. Btw; all of the "She was moved up to fast" Hailie fans should consider Jesse Love who is 3 yrs younger than Deegan. His Xfinity record is as follows. Wins: 1 - top fives: 4 - top tens: 8 - poles: 3 - driver rank: 6 - laps led: 258 - avg start: 9.6 - avg finish: 12.9
Deegan should be there soaking in and learning everything she can from someone like Logano and forget about for now more time fooling around on the lake for gosh sakes already!!! And all this angst from a Deegan AND Ford fan!!!!! B-Nascar Fan-Gardner
Putting Logano in the car on the one off street course isnt going to give them much useful feedback. They need to put him in on an oval or two if thats the case. Theres more to this, than meets the eye.
What I mean. Is if they are putting Logano in the car to see if theres car issues to help out Deegan. Wouldnt it be better to do it on an oval? Or are they trying to Get Logano more miles on road / street courses? Id love to know the reasons behind it.
I’m confused about Hailey. I’ve seen her run with the fast guys. She finished second to Tony Stewart at Eldora in SRX. She has talent, so what’s the problem? Confidence?
No one ever talks about how Blaine Perkins is just as bad or worse than Hailie Deegan. Perkins ain’t even a rookie and still getting beat by Almirola who only made 5 starts
@@NR_88 nobody ever said Hailie Deegan was going to be a nascar superstar, she’s in nascar because she’s extremely attractive and that sells tickets and merchandise
@@andytn6507 if Blaine Perkins was smoking hot then there would be hype…. Instead it’s just a dude with money. It’s not that deep or complicated to understand. Any Hailie hype is over her physical appearance ofc not her driving ability
First, she really should go back off road truck racing. Team up with her father and bring Ford money back to Champ Off Road and run a pro 2 and Pro 4 short course truck. Maybe Bring Sheldon Creed over with her if he flops at JGR. 2. AM Racing bringing Logano in feels like when Brandon Brown's team brought in one of the Dillons to field a seat. Which is to say the results will be ineffectual and frankly once she leaves that team loses all their funding with or without Logano. IDK, I used to be all for her but it feels like maybe being attractive killed her career, maybe social media killed her career, maybe she started seeing $$ instead of trophies, championships, and a legacy. Either way, you hate to see a female driver's career die out, but she's still young enough to find her footing somewhere else that fits her style

I think we haven"t heard the last of this, some of Hailie's fans are speculating she might be pregnant. Not sure how the sponsorship money works but it seems like AM Racing would be the big loser. Hailie's going to get paid whether she's in the car or not....
Might be. Tony Stewart's wife Leah made the executive decision last year, after barely losing the Top Fuel World Championship to Kalitta on the very last run of the season that it was time to start a family, and step away until they do. They just announced she is. Leah was quite busy this weekend at the track though. She's still teaching Tony how to drive her car.
The only reason analysts and everyone jere are not absolutely dogging Hailie is purely because she's attractive.. the same reason Natalie decker had a truck for so long. What a shame they try to push gender equality so hard like woman are genuinely comparable racers to men. It's seriously laughable at this point the amount of times we've had to watch this flop as analysts tell you they are the next big thing...
