Thank you, I’ve been cutting my hair since the pandemic started and seriously doubt I’ll ever go back to a shop . No offense to all stylists . It saves me time and I like the look . I have thinning scissors and will try them now .

My hair rn is similar enough to what appears in my profile picture maybe a small bit shorter and swept to the side in a fringe, I’m just wondering as my hair is really thick will it make much a difference to my hair? Or will I also have to take away some of its length. Many thanks!
You will notice a difference for sure when you run your hands through your hair after you thin it out. It also makes it easier to apply hair product if you use it. It shouldn't take away length as you see the length of my hair from the start to end of the video is the same!
I always tell my barber to thin out my hair cuz i have super thick hair but he never does it enough so this vidoe really helped thanks and with a normall scissors its good but don't overdo it
I honestly have no clue, i am not an expert I showed what worked for me lol. I would assume if it causes damage to the ends that you can just get your hair cut before your current ends
I'm a beginner barber. My bro said this technique can thin my Indonesian customers thick and coarse hair, to make them thinner and finer to look like those Japanese/Chinese hairs (Smooth silky hair). Is it true tho? I don't want to disappoint my customers duh
I honestly have no idea. I'm not a barber, just a guy that likes to cut my own hair and sometimes friends and family hair. You can try to ask on reddit under the barber sub reddit where there are plenty of people more qualified to answer
Lol the thinning ones? It just cuts the hairs that fit where the gaps are the scissor. So it thins out your hair by cutting the hairs that caught inbewtween the gaps, and not all of the hair like a normal scissor would

Your gains should be permanent after 2 years but everyone is different. Also results are not guaranteed, some people get good results and some people don't get good results. The only way to find out if it works for you is to try it!
