That's actually considered to no longer be true, most geneticists believe that genes are mixed in a much more complex way then that. Also, someone's appearance has no reflection on which culture they follow or understand more.
From a guy, I'll tell you, we are all human. None of us are perfect in any sense. There are always going to be things about us that people don't like. Be who you are. As long as your core values remain the same or on a level with your husband to be, nothing else matters. You have a lot of hair? He might have a grizzly hairy back, or stinky feet, or could have bad morning farts. But all that aside, if he's a good man, that's the most important thing. My best friend has a very high testosterone level and thus she is really hairy. She's been waxing her facial hair for a long time and has always been insecure about it. But recently, after a few months of being with her boyfriend, he noticed it himself and didn't care much. He knows that sometimes it's going to be there because it is efforttt to get rid of it. I think if you find someone and fall in love with eachother, he seriously will not care about it! Don't worry about it! Your husband will get over it hun. Everyone has flaws and he will look over it because he's not going to be perfect himself. Just make sure you love each other enough before you get married to look over your flaws. It's such a shame that hairy girls think they're the only hairy girls in the world. My mom is Arab but I was raised by my father and in a predominantly white town, so I literally grew up thinking I was some kind of sea monster. As far as hair removal advice, be aware that laser hair removal isn't permanent like many people would lead you to believe; it will take many many sessions over many years to make the hair much less noticeable. If you don't have the money to dedicate to that, try hair removal creams for your face and waxing and shaving elsewhere. As far as getting married, know this: the man you will love and who will love you won't care about all your body hair. Trust me. He probably has his own insecurities that he's wondering if you've noticed that you literally haven't even thought about, and vice versa. If you can, try to find a man who has sisters - they've seen it all. I was self-conscious about cheek hair/side burns for the longest time around my boyfriend until one day out of the blue he told me that in Spanish those hairs are called "vellos" which sounds like bellos which means beautiful. If someone loves you, they will love the parts of you that you hate. And most importantly, fake it til you make it. Pretend like you're the hairy version of Beyonce, and one day you will FEEL like you're the hairy version of Beyonce. And once you feel like that, can't nobody tell you nothing girlfriend.

100% agree. Once you're married all of your worries about what your husband is gonna think of this and that goes. Allah pairs you with someone perfect for you, what you see as a flaw your husband might adore. Worrying doesn't change anything. Just be real with your husband.

It might be PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). A simple blood test can be done to test for it. I'm a Sri Lankan living in Canada and I have PCOS. For people who have PCOS, especially in the South Asian community, a symptom can be excessive facial and body hair. I had SUCH thick coarse facial hair, even chest hair, and it was one of the most embarrassing things I had to deal with. I mean, it was so thick and coarse that I was competing with my brothers on who can grow the fastest beard. The best thing I did was visit a Endocrinologist (hormone specialist doctor) who prescribed medication to help deal with the symptoms. I do have to admit I did get laser hair removal (the right one for darker skinned people) and it did help a TON. With the combination of the medication and laser hair removal (I also did laser for about a year, so 12 sessions) it helped me greatly. Yes, I have to thread here and there but that's literally maybe every two months and its only a few strands here and there and barely noticeable, I just do it because I'm so paranoid lol. I hope you find a solution that best works for you!
They usually prescribe metformin, it's actually a diabetes drug. They prescribe it because pcos sufferers have spikes in blood sugar levels and this affects the hormone balance, so the metformin balances the blood sugar levels and in turn balances the hormone levels.

i started waxing my face 5 mins before i watched this video. i have hair on my face and get very insecure about it and very self conscious.My first ex boyfriend knew about it and really didnt care. i mean he would watch me wax my face. however, when i was in my last relationship, i never told him about it. but im pretty sure e already knew. if he didnt like something he would tell me.... my point is, guys really dont care about it tbh. im pretty much hairy everywhere tbh. there was one time when i didnt shave my legs at all, and my ex boyfriend didnt care, he took the piss in a jokey way cause tbh i couldnt be bothered. i then just took the piss out of my legs to. it should really bother you. but i can understand about facial hair. at the end of the day a guy is going to love you for who you are. yes the looks are there but that will fade as the years go by. just be happy doing you x

In my case, getting on the pill has helped me a lot with my body hair (I also have PCOS). I understand that not everyone wants/can be on the pill, but just putting it out there in case someone finds it helpful :)
That's exactly what I was thinking! She needs to know because it may effect her ability to conceive a child once married. I have been through hormonal imbalance, and didn't know I had severe endometriosis until I had a lot of trouble getting pregnant. It is possible that if I had known sooner, it could have been operated on and treated and I may have been able to pregnant without years of heart ache and fertility treatment. The same is true for pics, she may not have it and even if she does it might not effect her ability to conceive. I still think it's worth getting checked out for the hair reason alone!
great video. there was this time when i was bullied about the hairs i had/still have on my arms. it made me feel so bad about myself for a while. until one day, i noted to myself that that was me, it defined me, if i wanted to change it i will change it, if i didnt want to, i wont. and whoever loved whatever i was or am or will be, he's worth keeping. even if costs me to stay lonely for the rest of my life. at least id die happily ever after doing the things i wanted to do, with confidence, without letting anyone else telling me otherwise. and here i am today, learned to love myself the way i am and theres nothing more beautiful & appreciated than that.
Im caucasian and can grow a better beard than sid! No joke!! My hair cones through jet black and really thick. I have to shave and/or pluck DAILY. I have poly cystic ovary syndrome though which is what causes is it, so it may be a good idea for the lady in question to request that her doctor tests her for that? There's also creams and pills and other options you can explore to reduce the amount of it. Either way hopefully she will find a comfortable way to manage it and not let it effect her life too much
i have crazyyy facial hair too , on my cheeks, moustache, forhead etc and im a girl. its normal. just shave it using twinkle razor once a week and its just amazing

+Aliyah Hussain its amazing you should try it. i have sensitive skin and its just fine on me, leaving your face softer, brighter and your skincare will work better! it depends, for me it grows back like a week later and you can shave it again (dont overdo it). best decision ive ever take
Aliyah, I really like using the twinkle razors. No they do not grow back thicker, but can appear thicker because when the hair grows back, it grows with a blunt end rather than a tapered end. Sometimes they can be harsh on sensitive skin so electric trimmers work really well too. For my upper lip I really like using a spring epilator which you can buy on amazon or ebay for $1. They can be painful if you are new to them because it pulls the hair from the root, but with time you get used to it and it doesn't bother you over time. I hope that helps. These are the methods I've been sticking to for a few years now.
I was humiliated for soo f*cking long at school for being hairy and only last year I was diagnosed with PCOS which explained so much about my body including the hairiness and actually made me feel better knowing why I'm ridiculously hairy for a girl. You should speak to your GP, if you're south Asian you have a much higher chance of having PCOS.
miaow mix There's no cure for PCOS it's so frustrating since PCOS has other symtoms apart from hirsutism (hairiness) like difficulty getting pregnant. also, acne and irregular periods so I have to take the birth control pill for that but there's nothing that will permanently help with hirsutism. I'm going to get laser hair removal but even that's not completely permanent.
Have you tried metformin? That has helped some of the women I know with pcos. Trust me having endometriosis is way worse, painful heavy periods and it can make it so difficult get pregnant that you send up needing ivf (that's what happened to me). On the other hand I know other winery that have pcos and they had very minimal difficulties getting pregnant. There are so may more options for pcos sufferers to try with medicine before going down the ivf route to get pregnant.

She should have spearmint tea (not peppermint). It's known to remove the extra testosterone from our system which causes problems like excessive hair in girls. 2 cups a day for a month or 2 should be a good start. Also google it if you want more info. Good luck!

Even men who don't like hair at first, once they fall in love with you will get used to it and be fine. If the man loves you, he'll accept you for who you are, hair and all. Do your best to regularly remove your hair - especially facial hair - but also recognize that half the responsibility is on the guy to just get over it.
Accept yourself the way you are and you will find someone that will accept you for you. I am mixed race but I have more indian in my blood and I'm a bit hairy myself. Maintain it if you want. Don't maintain it if you don't want to maintain it. See a specialist if you want. The point is do what makes you feel comfortable.

I used to be very insecure of my legs because they were very very very hairy and I hated doing P.E so much because I had to get erm out in front of the other girls! But trust me girl shaving them did not make me any less insecure! It's acc surrounding Uself Wiv ppl who wouldn't a give a shit if ur legs were Wolverine legs or if they r spotless model legs because at the end of the day is the hair the makes u the person u r today and there r very judgemental ppl our there so just be urslef and remember beauty doesn't come from shaving at all!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
I work in cosmetology and there is so much out there for hair removal: waxing, sugaring, threading, dermaplaining, don't be scared to try new methods! Eventually everyone finds one they don't hate.

TO THE HAIRY GIRL try rosewater mixed with alum powder n salt in ratio 3:3:1 n scrub it on ur body from the 1st day u get waxed... my mom isnt hairy my sisters were never hairy I Had to take after my dad -_- so im telling u from experience scrub ur body with this diy with regular Fruit waxing RELIGIOUSLY FOR AT LEAST 5 6 months im sure ull see a difference

They might have polycyclic ovaries or under active thyroid. Go and see you doctor because it might be that other things are wrong and if they fix that the hair goes away (for free!)

This person could try electrolysis. I had a straight up beard under my chin and I went to one around 5 times over a period of a year and a half, and it worked really well. It has been around 3 years since I had those sessions and my hair has not grown back at all. With every session the hairs get lighter and grows back thinner, if at all. It does hurt, however. Not the same level as a bee sting but up there. She might have tried it anyway, but for others out there, I think it is worth a try :) Love the videos!
I am not that knowledgeable about it so it might be best for you try and google it? I know electrolysis involves a direct electrical current to the affected area. Sounds scary af but it is not. You hold a metal bar that is connected to the machine, so the electrical current passes right through your body (it is a small amount anyway). The person doing it (usually an esthetician) has a small metal needle ish thing (its not a needle) which she inserts into a pore that has a hair in it, she clicks a button and the current goes thorough the hair follicle and then she plucks the hair. It slowly kills the hair follicle I guess, permanently.
I have pretty sensitive skin myself. I did only have it under my chin which is less sensitive than my face. I did get a lot of redness and some welts which went away in a couple of days. You could always just try one spot or something in a not very conspicuous area and see how it goes?
There is lots of medicine that reduces the hormone of body hair or something ask you Doctor ! That might help you totally and it won't reduce your actual hair on your head.
And trust... What Dina said about pretty girls being hairy is true, I know this girl who is probably the prettiest girl in my year and she is Asian.. She has a lot of hair on her face and bleaches it... But then again she has lots of makeup on
