The biggest disappointment with Halo 2A was how under appreciated it was. Halo 2A is probably the best modern halo experience I've ever had with it's gameplay. It felt like classic Halo, with a nice shiny coat of paint.

"Halo will always be a controller game" PC first man!

H2 on mouse and keyboard I feel plays better than Reach or CE. The player movements, fire rate of the BR, bullet magnetism and aim assist doesn't seem the be such a factor as the other Halo PC games. I'm really enjoying the flight so far! I just hope that there will be a H2A ranked playlist on release!

Halo 2 is my favorite game I think of all time, just played through the levels they have out for testing and I have to say I'm blow away by how good the game looks. I'm so excited for the full game to come out

The one thing I wish is for H2A to become insanely popular as its MP is among my favorites of the halos.

I love that these games are being brought to a new generation, but I can't bring myself to play the new anniversary editions. There's just something so wrong about hitmarkers and grenade indicators in halo, it grinds my gears more than it probably should and I don't know why

M/KB is the best way to play shooters once you’re accustomed to it imo

As a console player who moved exclusively to PC 3 years ago, I can give you one tip that will help tremendously: Work on your crosshair placement. I often see you looking at the ground as you move, try to keep the crosshair where the enemies head is most likely to be when going around corners and stuff. Less time to kill if you are already lined-up for a headshot.

How long I have been playing Halo MCC, I never knew I could shoot those ice things from the top of the map

The game is incredible no matter what platform you play on. I've thoroughly had fun with it since release several years ago and still play it almost on a daily basis. Then seeing how much they improved everything since the Xbox One X 4K HDR update and all the updates since have greatly improve the game. Glad to see more people are having fun!

Halo m chief collection was the first game I got for my gaming laptop. I remember thhe first night playying it was epic since it was my intro to HALO. Now months later I feel Like its the best $40 game I've ever purchased.

Been preferring m/kB makes using the BR feel amazing. Gives me some confidence against controller players. I had a match that was mostly m/kb on slayer for base halo 2. And damn. You know the say “You are playing checkers and they’re playing chess”? Well I thought we were playing halo 2. They apparently thought it was Counter strike because goddamn we got fucking crushed. Their top player had 30 kills sub 10 deaths. Always always disengaged when their shields were down and knew the map perfectly to leave line of sight. It was insane.

What I would give to experience that original Halo 2 online feel again... This game looks 40% of the way there, maybe, but sadly I don't think it would completely scratch that itch. I still remember the first 12 hours of Halo 2 online when it was only us Aussies on before America even got the release, lol we felt so privileged in those days. Xbox live was still kinda new and buzzing with novelty. At this point, it feels like NOTHING will ever replace that excitement. DGMW, it's not like it _can't_ happen again, but the corporate iron claw that dictates the access to online multiplayer fun nowadays formulaically denies us that. Zoomers today prolly have NO IDEA what I'm even talking about... and that saddens me.

Halo 2 multiplayer honestly is the best this series has ever looked, even better than 5 that came out a year later imo. Makes those Infinite graphics even more painful to look at.

Yo Nick, I don't know how much PC gaming you do but if you're struggling to hit stuff try turning your sensitivity down a bit (or quite a bit if it's really high) and just taking some time to get used to the sensitivity.

Try to keep your cross hair at head level at all times, looking at the ground will reduce your TTK.

Holy shit that weapon FOV compared to Halo CE is insane. In Halo CE it's like you're holding the weapons in your mouth.

I really hope population will grow up when H2A comes out, finding game for either reach or CE in Western Europe is blood Hell now.

I've only played on Xbox, not PC. I'm very good at H2A and Reach. I'm not super good, but I'm good enough to where I can get a minimum of 3 kills a match. I think one day I'll try PC because it looks fun.

Halo 2 anniversary multiplayer is on the Halo 4 engine, the Halo 4's engine is just Halo reach's engine. so therefore this is on Halo reach engine.

the FOV in halo 2 seems to be a much better implementation than halo reach's, 120 FOV doesn't have this weird I would say almost fish eye lens like it does in reach

Looks like H2A MP suffers from that same plasticy looking aesthetic that Halo 5 has, and the weapons sound pretty bad in comparison to the original.

Why first map and this graphics looks like H4 and AR right from H5? And in general, in H2 there is no AR.
