I always tell people who say they could never make it in the military - you'd probably be surprised how strong you really are. Just got to find the correct motivations.

If i put more effort to lose weight i would likely have the confidence to join the military. Sadly a few of my friends who enlisted and are now out told me to not join in its current condition

"Was it originally called 'Recon'?" Yep, it was originally supposed to just be a short 2-4 hour campaign plus some new maps. Then it kept growing and growing, until it was almost a full installment in its own right.

I entered the military as an infantryman super short, and super skinny. Never worked out or played sports growing up. I was surprised about how far my body could go. You can pass as long as you don't quit

ODST was originally intended as a dlc for halo 3 hence why it was given the halo3 title

"I would never be able to survive the military". Yeah, on night one, we all thought something like that. They tear you down so they can build you anew, that way you have a better chance of survival if you end up going downrange. Same thing in the Halo universe.

@@DuBstep115 US Air Force myself. Going on my 4th year now. Ours was no fuckin' joke, I promise you that. We didn't do any extra infantry based stuff, being the Air Force and all, but those MTIs, were not fuckin' around.

I'm actually trying to figure that out right now! So I have Nintendo consoles, Xbox consoles, and a PC so it'd have to be a game series on one of those. Plus I'd love a game that has levels or clearly defined missions like Halo to make editing easier.

Honestly 343 screwed the pooch on a number of things when they took over, killing rookie, getting people who never played halo to make halo 4, massive overhaul on art direction to a jarring degree

Omg these dad jokes always gets me, dunno why, maybe I’m becoming an old man?🤷🏿‍♂️. I went to military school, it’s not all like that overwhelming because we had classes to attend but they made up all that time left in the day very though and severe. Too bad they killed off the rookie in a f****ing comic book. And back in the Xbox 360 you could play as Johnson if you pre order the game, now on mcc you can play as him as well, but you have to earn him, by playing multiplayer or challenges

Yeah it was shock to me when the rookie was killed off in a comic. Wish we could have had a second ODST game as I really enjoyed this one back in 09.

@@stewart2517 Yea, Shadows of Reach is scheduled to release on the 20th. I don't think they are flawless by any means, but the books are pretty good and help build up the universe.

Yes and no. ODST takes place after Regret and his reconnaissance force is beaten then later in the campaign the real invasion force comes, ending with the last battles of earth being ironically in my state I live in Arizona between Covenant remnants and UNSC forces

My friends were mugged at gun point at night when I was 16 they ran to my house and were being shot at both of them got hit and were screaming for help so i heard them and ran in the street and dragged my friends to safety while being shot at I got them inside but I heard the shooters getting closer to the house so i hid with a kitchen knife right then one of the shooters ran to my front door and kicked it in so I stabbed him to death while I was hiding in a crevice near the front door it gave me bad ptsd for years when I first saw the European trailer for odst it set me off and I had a bad flashback of it the police had to come talk me down I was hiding behind a wall clenching a screw driver like it was a knife remembering and reliving everything gun shots and 4th of July really get me too kinda sucks I can tell you from experience the only real way to stay sane with crazy stuff like that going on is to really hype and pump yourself up readying yourself for it and just be ready to die fighting basically
