What the... I've been looking for a comparison like that and you came up with this right now? The lights in my 159 are not impressive to say the least, and in the Gtv are even worse. Thanks bro, keep up the great work!
what type of headlights do you have in your 159? reflector or projector? and what type of bulb are you running now? I also have poor night vision in my 159. running a projector with a osram night breaker LED. The LED kinda dissapointed me.
I was tired with hir2 projectors in my car, very poor visibility. Bought philips leds after install I adjust projectors. Now finally I can say headlights doing its job.
It must be remembered that, for example, ordinary H7 Night Breaker 200 from Osram only has a maximum lifetime of 500 hours, whereas the H7 LED Night Breaker from Osram lasts for 2500 hours. I've had regular H7 Night Breaker bulbs in my car in the past...they didn't last long. Just ordered Osram LED for my Giulietta ;-)
I just got my Giulietta and already implemented few of your fixes as well since i had the same issue. Great, great content and please keep it up so i can copy your great work! Did you maybe have issues with lighter/charging port since mine is not working and usb port that we have is not great for charging? Svaka cast na klipovima, sve najbolje
the original bulbs are not brilliant, but i'm so pleased about those high powered ordinary bulbs. i find LED's blinding, and i think that is dangerous to other road users
Great video with a great comparison with various options! Those ultra bright H7 bulbs are shockingly good!!! I would personally go with the LED’s for a more modern look as they are much brighter than the standard ones anyway.
Philips 12V H7 Racing Vision GT200 +200% are much better than my previous osram nightbreakers. I went from bad night lighting to drivers with powerful led headlights flashing me
you’re the best of the best, I’m a fan of your Alfa Romeo videos, cheers from Poland :) and for the Giulietta owners I can share some experience about bulbs. I’ve got Giulietta 2012 and I’ve recently changed my factory default halogen bulbs to Led bulbs. I got Philips Ultinon Pro3021 H1 for full beam Philips Ultinon Pro3021 H7 for dipped beam. Brightness is great and H7 perfectly fits. But for H1, my car got 1 pin at the connection and this philips H1 got 2. I’m not as good as ARC Garage so I take it to the mechanic and they done it :)
Trazi Phillipsov asortiman, koliko sam video najbolje svetlo daju Phillips RacingVision GT200, standarna Xenon H7 siijalica, odmah iza nje je isto Phillips Xtremevision Pro150, a losije sijalice koje bacaju lepo cisto belo svetlo su Phillips Whitevision Ultra.
I've tested several led bulbs in my Giulietta but sadly due to the projector type headlights that we have the emitting light is not ideal. In my Giulietta I'm a pair of Damsung mover F3 and I'm relatively pleased. Seeing your comparison videos I'm really surprised with the last halogen bulbs. What would be the brand and model?
I did the same thing, LEDs on Giulietta are not very efficient, as you said. These Ultra Bright Halogen are actually the best, but to be honest not sure about the exact brand or model, got them a while ago
@@arcgarage another good and tested solution are xenon bulbs but in such case you would need to include the ballast. On my high beams I'm also using LEDs but there they are great.
@@spikerfeed2996 I have also tested novsight bulbs and I had canbus errors. The bulbs were flickering and needed a canceller. I used an adapter of Philips but it didn't work well with them so I returned them. The ones I'm currently using, Samsung mover 3 they don't need a canbus adapter and they provide a good view with their light.
@@nrnccrdn with Philips Ultinon Pro9100 did you have to turn them 32 degrees or something? I bought some LEDs and they don't turn so that the LED is vertical and the chips go left and right. If i do that the bulb comes out of the collar and it makes me angry as it's not right and i cannot get my money back. I do like the white colour to match the DRLs and give a bit more modern look, but i wouldn't say no to a halogen one that just as good.
@@antoniospoljar3901 Nisu ti to te LED sijalice, a nisam ih ni koristio stavio sam one ultra bright h7

Best channel for Giulietta. I've followed many of the videos for the Giulietta fixes and mods. Maybe the H7 Ultra high bulbs are even better solution since with LED's you sometimes are not going to pass the MOT tests.
Last winter I installed a pair of Chinese LED bulbs called Bewinsee, the 360 degree type. The bulbs were awesome, got much better vision compared to the standard halogene ones. The only problems was with the LEDs as the weather got warmer sometimes the car shut off both of the bulbs the same time and I had to drive in the dark without any light.
@@arcgarage That must be a 80 or 100w bulb. The problem is with that those type of bulbs producas way more heat than the standard 55w ones, what may damage the lamp itself. I would still prefer the LEDs. I think the problem with the shutting off LED bulbs was the LEDs consume less amps than a standard 55w halogene. I will try it with an additional load resistor, since it’s simply dangerous to drive the giulietta with the halogene bulbs in the night because of the shitty projector.
@@MMarkur I checked it, these are also 55W bulbs, so they're not producing more heat. Not sure how you would solve the issue with LEDs, maybe try a different manufacturer
