In this video we show you step by step instructions on how to install the Haltech IC-7 dash into a VL Calais using an integrated wiring harness from Dirty South Race Engineering. The process should be very similar for any early model Commodore.

another great vid guys, i reckon the new larger screen dash they have released would look even better but thats just my opinion and im sure its a hell of a lot more expesive as well

Great video, thanks for posting. Need to do the install for my Calais. I'm running an Mx7 gearbox so need to figure out what I'm going to do about the speedo given it's mechanical. The Rb25 5spd speedo drive is electric but the gear on the end is different. There's also the GPS speed sensor that Haltech does but not totally keen on that.

Do these Plug into factory dash wiring ? Might be a silly question , but I'm very new on these and looking at doing the new Uc10

When im eventually on the tail end of my Vl im looking at an aftermarket dash. Why did you go the IC-7? im looking at the powertune digital dash for cost but the haltech looks like it has a fair bit of info on installing them
