Hi friend, thanks so much for sharing your experience!! We are glad that you had fun with this class and that it became easier with time. Thanks for joining us and have fun exploring the other classes on our channel :)
Really enjoyed the exercises : the variety and reassurance that if we missed the changes that it would come in time and with perseverance. This was our first time and we will return. Thanks, Lauren.
Jennie, thank you for your comment and welcome to Power for Parkinson’s! We’re happy you found us and just know we always encourage participation and fun over form. We look forward to having you join us again soon💙
Very inspiring! A " must " exercise for any neurological movement disorders, I find them beneficial and much improvements after couple of times of practice. Great job Lauren! a big 5 to you!👋
Hi Eddy, thanks so much for your wonderful comment. We are so glad you find these classes beneficial and feel improvement as a result of doing them. We offer these classes for that very reason and are so glad you found us!!
This was hard on our brains! (And we thank you.) But we got better each time. On our 5th time, we did much better. 🤗 We will keep coming back to this one, for sure. Sometimes, we don’t feel like exercising. Then we ask ourselves, “ If Lauren is willing to come to our home today, then why can’t we show up, too?”. Thank You, Lauren! 💞 Chuck and Karon
Wow, 5 repetitions Karon and Chuck!! That is absolutely amazing!! We just love your drive and enthusiasm when it comes to exercising with PFP!! Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our community :)
Hi Jennifer, thank you so much for sharing a bit more about yourself with us. We are hopeful that our exercises can support you as you navigate your various symptoms and look forward to hearing from you again soon!! Take good care in the meantime :)
Thank you very much, Lauren for the exercise. I worked really hard to keep up with you! A little confusing at the beginning, I guess I need more practice. However, I had lots of fun with the exercise! ❤❤❤
Keep up the great work Heang and keep on practicing!! Having fun is the most important thing - and you are doing so well, we see your commitment and dedication!!
Working on cognitive (executive skills) is one of the features that sets you and your team apart. Focusing on dexterity of fingers is brilliant. Before class I was unable to keep my left hand's, pinky, ring, middle fingers were jumping off the keyboard. Now, I am typing away. Alas, I must also give my medication a thumbs up. I will do my best to schedule around your classes at 11:00a CT thanks again for sending out the survey for preference of start times.
Thank you so much Bradford! I am really glad you found this helpful. Keep with it - practice this a few times a week. I'm sure you will find it really helps. Thanks so much for your comments and input. I look forward to hearing them.
Bradford, so good to hear from you! With your extensive experience in fitness, your comments mean so much. They say exercise is medicine for PD and you are getting your daily dose!!
A great workout with lots of movements and patterns. I like that vocals were included as well as hand movements for tremors! Thank you, Lauren, so much for the instruction. Are there exercises to help with my left leg leg tremor? I haven't been using the site too long, but so far, I find it a great resource!!
Linda, thank you for your comment and for raising an important question. We do not have a specific video for leg tremors but any time you do exercises that involve your legs and cardio or high intensity exercise you should notice at least some temporary relief. If you have any trouble finding those videos we are happy to help. Keep us posted on your progress!
Yay! Completely new! Hats off to you and your team!! These exercises get the improvements in days if you do them regularly! I must say that! Thank you Lauren!💜
Hi Anagha, Welcome to our channel and our community! It is incredible to hear that you are noticing improvements from doing these videos, that's why we're here!!! Please keep coming back, we are so glad that you found us!💜
Thank you Anagha for your wonderful comments. I am so happy you are finding these exercises beneficial - they key is to do them regularly, build new neuropathways so these movements can be strong and help make your symptoms more manageable.
Thanks for your comment Patti, it's so great to know that this class targeted your biggest concern. Perhaps it will be one that you can revisit frequently!!
Thanks for your comments Patti - I have heard from a number of people that these exercises really help them. I hope you find them beneficial. So glad you enjoyed the music. Hard to not love the Stones right?
Hahahaha I know what you mean Marcel - getting those arms up and out and completely straight and in each direction can be challenging. My favorite challenge was alternating switching the five fingers and one finger, that one took me a few tries.
great session...need more on tremours. I take it this class will end our hand tremours for good (of course)... By the have you any classes on jaw tremours?
Hi Marcel, thank you so much for your feedback. We will definitely include more classes that target tremors. We don't currently have classes specifically on jaw tremors but will add that to our list of class plans!!
Great things Dr Madida on RU-vid has being doing for mankind, I undergo his Parkinson disease treatment plan for weeks and my Parkinson Disease was completely reversed..💫💫
Moshe, thanks for joining this exercise and leaving us a comment. I'm so glad this video was helpful! I don't think that the word "easy" is even in Lauren's vocabulary!!!
Yes Jarmila - this one took some thought and concentration. I worked on switching from 5 fingers to 1 a number of times before I got it. Keep up the good work - keep practicing and let me know how you are doing.
Hello Lauren!! What a fantastic class but I only managed to do half of it. I have a lot of joint pain. I finish later... I promise. Thanks Lauren for the strength. Big hug from Portugal 🇵🇹
Dulce - exercise is cumulative. You dont have to do it all in the same sitting or all at once to get the benefits. 10 minutes here, 20 minutes later, maybe another 10 minutes after that, all add up. You will find if you go gradually and add just a few more minutes a day you will improve your stamina. It will take time and thats just fine! 😀
Great session Lauren. Lots of variety. I really had to concentrate which was good for me. When you talk about bent elbows that is a problem I have but I am working on this. Many thanks Paula and Jon
Lauren really pushed everyone with this video. This is one that is good to revisit periodically. The bent elbows is part of PD and always good to have the reminder to extend your arms for bigger moves! Thanks for leaving another insightful comment!!
Thanks Jon - I like that you had to concentrate. It tells me you are really working and not allowing yourself to go into "automatic". Realizing your are not stretching your arms or legs to their full range of motion is important. Keep working on really extending. It will help with strength and stride.
Kishor thank you for your comments. I love hearing from our viewers and participants all over the world. Thank you for following us in India - I appreciate your support and so happy you are benefiting from our classes.
Great job to YOU, Kishor! Thank you for joining in on the exercise and leaving your encouraging words. Like Lauren said, it is a true joy to connect with our participants from all over the globe. We're so glad that you are a part of our community!
Phew!😅 Felt the cardio and the fun! I thought I’d have trouble with the knees and arm crosses or the jacks but actually the most challenging part was the marching while going through the finger touches! I laughed at myself as I struggled at first because in my mind it should have been easy! Surprise challenge! Thanks for a fun and creative workout!
Eric- We love hearing from you!! It's lovely to hear that you were able to laugh your way through the most challenging parts- it's all about doing your best, and having fun doing it!!
Great job Eric - Isnt it funny the things that look or seem the easiest are sometimes the most challenging. I know some of the fine motor work in this video can take some time to master. Keep with it and I know you will get better and better with it.
thanks for what you do. i practice with your team everyday from here in Lagos Nigeria. your workout videos are like my morning medicine, God bless you paula elena nancy and debbie
I am so pleased to hear you are a regular viewer of our videos. I love that!! I've heard many people say, exercise is just as important as their medicine for them. They couldnt go a day without it. So happy you include us in your daily regimen. Keep it up, stay strong, stay fit. Keep moving and shouting!! 😀😀😀
Hi there Ufuoma! Thank YOU for joining us each and every day, and thank you for taking the time to leave your supportive comment. We are so grateful to have you in our community!
Excellent question! We are always surprised to see how Lauren can come up with so many different variations. Here's an interview she did with us that gives you a glimpse into her brain: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--K7wKBdyEqU.html
