best part of playing gamma is being able to side epsilon. stops expulsion, dbarrier, double cross, superfact, and obviously any trap deck matchups. epsilon on the welcomes vs lab and on holtea vs traptrix can actually be nutty.

Adding mathmech would be have been cool, it's winning regionals all over the place and has a quite high representation. Feels like alot of people don't know the deck and just get blown up

For the Turtle play, its swap frog dump turtle. Then standard Spright Jet grab double cross.

Double cross is how they get the numen lock on board , so belle would be a bit higher since that’s the blow out combo

Also imperm and veiler can be effective against Shang if you use it on them before its effect resolves. can slow down the zone locks for a turn at least.

Imperm doesn't hit mole cricket because mole cricket tributes for cost.

Lancea can prevent the branded player from using: b. red, b. banishment, fusion albion's summon effect, mirrorjade's effect to banish and therefore his sending as cost, tragedy and b. retribution from banishing themselves from the grave to get branded fusion or another branded card back to hand, and saronir from summing himself by banishing a tragedy or a mercourier, which would add a despia or cartesia respectively.

The artifact lancea stops the regular rise heart from paying cost so no zone lock or banishing 3 off the top of your deck. No shangri-la zone locking or field spell popping thier own shangri-la to detach a material for birth for extention. No daibolos banishing from extra and main. No pot prosperity. They would have to chain scareclaw or tear kastira to ss to the field before Lancea resolves which that alone can cause problems cause you can't special your fenrir or unicorn if not they can't use tea and scareclaw kashtira for that turn to ss themselves. Since shangri-la can't activate to zone lock they can't cheat out the arise heart using 1 material, they have to make it the hard way. That's alot. They'd probably make unicorn fenrir pass or arise heart pass with birth on board or shangri-la pass. It makes a big diff.

You can imperm riseheart too to make it a level 4 again

Problem with Gamma is that the trade off of an extra brick + dead if driver gets banished doesn’t quite make it better than imperm imo.

Belle vs branded is not a checkmark for me. Red is protected by lost and expulsion can't be belled it they put their targets in banish.

I'm surprised Ogre wasn't on this list. It's pretty decent in all of the listed matchups, except Despia and Labrynth I guess, since it can hit Births, Arise-Hearts, Risehearts, Fountains and Gigatics.
