Earlier this week, the jury unanimously found Payne guilty on all eight counts, including malice and felony murder, false imprisonment and aggravated assault. Full story: www.11alive.com/article/news/...
But her race put her in prison for 30- nearly 50 years. They are learning that the time of their RACISM & HATE against God’s Chosen isn’t going unseen. 🙏🏿🙌🏾
“There has not been one tear for the victim. Her tears are for herself” - damn, very eloquently spoken. That’s how the defendant came across to me too just watching the trial. No remorse at all.
Well, yeah. This is a girl who was raised on hate, bias and 'guns solve issues' mentality. When parents teach their children how to hate everyone not exactly like them, this can be the end result. She just thought she was a hero, and her entire upbringing confirmed this. Parents are making little carbon copies of themselves, and making sure their kids dont 'stray' from their crazy.
@@CharlesDorsey-ov2ht people that are incarcerated for that long and get parole usually end right back up in prison so I’m not sure what you’re trying to insinuate here? You think she’ll be walking around one day free? No chance.
@@normbatchelor7403 If she is the way her friends say that she is, she is not going to last very long in her right mind in General Population. She is going to need Jesus. I pray that she gives her life to Christ.
She'll be deep into her 60s at that point. All her loved ones will likely be gone, she'll never be a mom, if she makes it to that point. She will be old and alone. All that to say, I agree with you.
THIS WAS AN OPEN AND SHUT CASE. THE REAL HANNA PAYNE WAS EXPOSED! INTEGRITY ISN’T DOING THE RIGHT THING WHEN SOMEONE IS WATCHING, INTEGRITY IS DOING THE RIGHT THING WHEN NOBODY IS WATCHING 👀! IF MR. HERRING’S FAMILY HAS TO DO LIFE, THEN “HEAVY DUTY HANNA” SHOULD ALSO DO LIFE!! MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND ALL WHO KNEW AND LOVED HIM!! 🙏🏽❤️💪🏼🌹
My heart and prayers go out to the family of the person she killed. It was her fault. She lied. The man she killed DNA was not found on the gun. She made the wrong decision, and it has caused the family of the man she killed, her family, and all those who loved them both great pain. Hannah Payne got life in prison. 30 years is a life term in Georgia. Those who committed serious violent felonies on or after July 1, 2006, must serve 30 years before being eligible for parole. Life in prison is mandatory for murder in Georgia. She got 30 years plus 13 years. That is 43 years. She will be eligible for parole when she is 68 if she does the 13 years after the 30. 30 + 8+ 5 = 43.
If she does the 13? She was sentenced consecutively. She WILL be doing the whole 43. And I hope one of the grandkids shows up to the parole hearing and protests her release
That's what happens when you take the law into your own hands. Learn to control your temper. Sticks and stones will break your bones but words can never hurt you until now. I'm so upset with the Hailey Police Dept enforcing politics not laws. Ten years later still I've taken no aggressive action against anyone and I know who they are.
Her smugness during the trial is why she's sitting in prison for the rest of her natural life. I was shot by a youngman who believed his children were in danger, his son was being beat up and threatened and was told the other kids dad was coming to shoot his kid. when i pulled through the parking lot, he believed i was the other kids father and pointed the gun at me shooting twice, luckily the 1st one hit the divider between doors it would have been fatal, the second shot went through my trunk both seats and into me. At first i was mad and wanted through the book at him, but then the officers told me the guy admitted to shooting and why he was out with a weapon, the detective said he even took him to the gun. Yes he did something stupid, something my wife regularly reminds me could have ended my life, but it didn't and there's no telling what could have happened to someone's kid had he made it to the fight, but instead he hit me and i live (with a bullet in my back side) when it came time for trial i requested he recieve a felony to take away his gun rights but be given time served with community monitoring for the remainder of his 7yr suspended sentence. The prosecution (despite wanting to go full trial) agreed to the recommendation and the judge approved of the request. I didn't do it because i the man understood his mistake, he owned it and was willing to take the consequences. Sometimes you have to be accountable to the degree of detriment. 😢
I knew she didn't care once she didn't say anything for herself or apologize before sentencing. She really doesn't give a fuck! She's just sad because she's going to prison. That's it. Bless her heart
The state has already taken this case to the Appeals Court. They wanted to make sure Hannah will be denied an appeal. They didn't want this coming back on them.
She look 43 now imagine in 43 years, she gonna look 86 damn........they age bad stress free or not, yall just age like bad....hate that for yall.....DAMN
To Me race is not the troubled question. What’s more troubling is I wanna see the original accident and also the gentleman was at the scene for 20 mins… suffering a medical issue. I want to hear from the actual victim of the accident beside ofcourse mr H. They were doing to damn much and involving themself that could have been solved by taking a picture of the plate and the cats, they didn’t need to involve themselves. The gentleman was not trying to flee. He was there for 20 mins .😞
@@Robmarley-uo1ts Not at all. She'll do approximately 38 2/3 years behind bars before being paroled. In Ga. she has to do 30 years before being eligible for parole. Then, factor in the 13 years. Do the math!
@@stevenhollis418 I feel you it was just that in Pennsylvania life with a Chance of parole means you can get out at any time either it's one year or 25 years
She has no defence tbf. The operator told her not to follow him and return to the scene of the accident, but chose to ignore her and take matters into her own hands and thus, she deserves to go to prison for a long time.
THE REAL HANNAH PAYNE: *AFTER SHE SHOT HIM IN COLD BLOOD! AND THEN WAS HEARD SAYING: NOW! "YOU" NEED A AMBULANCE! SHE PLAYED: *JUDGE AND JURY! WHEN SHE: *TOOK HIS LIFE!😪😪😪
Just by looking at her she doesn't have any remorse for the family and the families late victim my hugs and my prayers goes out to the family hope she rotted in hell.
She keeps telling herself that she shot a bad guy, and that she was justified. That's why she lacks remorse. She still thinks that he was the perpetrator. She sees herself as the victim of a system who fails to appreciate her proactive, heroic, vigilantism. Shakin' my darned head. ☹️
Agreed!! Only bright side is all her prime years will be wasted behind bars and if she's ever out, she will be flirting with her 70s. All her loved ones will likely be long gone. No kids, just will be old and alone
Relax. She will be an old lady if she is even still alive by the time she faces a parole board. Who knows? Even if she does make it that far, she is not guaranteed parole at that time or any time.
Why couldn't you just mind your own business? It wasn't even YOUR accident! Maybe stick around at the accident scene to be a witness, but that's all. You didn't need to do anything beyond that. Can't believe you threw your entire life away at 25 because you 1) couldn't mind your business, and 2) had a gun.
The prosecuting attorney is 100% right.... I know your attorney tried to help you... but even he knew deep down there was no hope... Your actions and your words came back to haunt you. You showed a sign of yourself you did not want your family and friends to know. But unfortunately, as they say, KARMA is a BITCH!
Did anyone else notice the ridiculous facial expressions the defense attorney Tucker continued to make throughout the trial? It does not help you or your client. He needs to be more professional. Just because you disagree with something the prosecution just said is no reason to make childish expressions.
If she hadn’t done that Mr. Herring would’ve been here and the law enforcement would’ve handle him for the hit and run but no Hannah Payne had to take it there 😢
Her family pleading her race case during the impact statements tell you a lot about her & the people around her. Saying "she dates black guys" is so inappropriate in this setting....... more worried about how the public thinks of her rather than the loss she caused with his family present. Vile.
It had nothing to do with her, the Evil that she showed. She will have plenty of time to think about her actions. Taking a life because she wanted to, theirs no other reason.
I’ve read about this case. Not a deep dive, but I got the gist of it. She should have NEVER confronted the man. The dispatcher asked if she got the tag number…they didn’t tell her to chase him down to get it. There was already a cop there, right? Even if he wasn’t, SOMEBODY got him on video. You can’t go anywhere and not be on camera anymore. The simple words “no, I didn’t get the tag and he just left”…could have saved everyone the heartache. She got her CCP a few days before and thought it made her robocop. She should have let it go and just have been a witness and told what she saw. The end.
Usually when a jury is only out a couple hours, the person on trial is going to be found guilty There’s two types of sorry there’s the sorry you got caught doing it. If you do it better next time and then there’s the sorry you shouldn’t have even done it all She’s sorry she got caught and would do a better next time
Too bad Hannah's family and friends put her on a pedestal before they knew FACTS... Her own words and actions for the whole world to hear and see. Yes I agree. whoever that girl is that spoke is very good..
I don't know about the sentencing only because I've seen people we have premeditated murder and don't get nothing close to that this girl be an idiot did not wake up that day and say I'm going to take a man's life
She killed him because he was poor - like herself. Her job was the kind only the desperate take and very unusual for a girl. No fit parents would allow their daughter to do that for a living - collecting and transporting cash.
She fucced up bad af damn nomo daylights seeing the streets dets crazy worst part being in prison 4 walls in a cell locked down shhhhh mane she doing life smh
