You said in some of your videos that one thing that makes John stand out to you as a guitarist is that he always makes you inspired. I agree, and I feel the same way about you. Transcending as always!
These Birthday tributes always bring a tear to my eye, always masterpieces…John-inspired but with the Dave creative element that’s in itself uniquely incredible!
Thank you Dave for this emotional solo jam!!! Every year I wait for John's birthday, and your annual jams on this master's birthday make this day even more pleasant!!! Cherrs Dave!
once again we celebrate johns day but it’s not only tht we come here to see the absolute wizardry dave blesses us with the sheer talent this man posses is beyond talent he has inspired many of us to pursue the instrument and become one with it. it is my birthday as well i tend to watch this too as if it were for me 😂thank you dave hope all is well in your world!
It's so great that your guitar hero is alive and you can celebrate another year of his life. Dave, I truly hope you meet him in person someday and have a jam session. ❤️✌️
thanks dave. the past month has been rough, my elderly cat passed away, as did my grandad, both in the same 24 hours, and it had been almost 3 years since my other grandad passed. this month i’m facing the birthday of my best friend, he would have been 16 this year. yet your videos, your playing, continues to inspire me and bring me even a bit of happiness and comfort. my early birthday present from myself is arriving today, a cherry sunburst les paul (only an epiphone, i wish i had gibson money), my dream guitar since i was a kid, and to honor those i’ve lost, mr frusciante, and you, one of my biggest inspirations right now, i’m gonna play until my fingers feel like falling off. cheers dave, i hope you’re having a good day
cat and dad RIP, but most importantly, may the memories of them stay with you. Nobody stays here forever, bro. Enjoy the walk of your life, it passes so fast. Music definetelly makes it more fun.
Love it, Dave! Not sure if you’ve done a vid on John V3 that covers the new playing style, tone etc but that would be very cool - only if you want to that is 🙏🙏🙏
Dave, you're born to be wild ! This masterpiece is just breathtaking ! I honestly don't understand how you can resist this huge storm of emotions passing through your body ! You must feel so empty after giving us so much of you ! True love !
since you started it, I religiously come here every single year, and I must thank you for what this represent to me and for every single soul that have frusciante deep in the heart. keep doing it, Dave. you're insane.
I was 5 minutes in and thought, must be coming to the end now, only to discover I had another 6 minutes! Ahhhhh anyway back to reality and the stresses of life. Thanks for the 11 minutes of escape haha
Blimey Dave, your playing has just given me an insight on how you feel, think, love, see, hear and talk. Absolutely face itchingly amazing, i now need a lie down mate ❤❤❤❤ oh, happy birthday John
Maaaan... first. H.b. to John . F'. And Dave !!!. This is my opinion and my only. O.k?!. You are , with no doubt, one of the best guitar players .. You are a mentor. Inspiration to pick up the guitar .. cheers.
Hi Dave! Listening to you became an addiction for me. I love the way you play. I came to you because I am starting to learn electic guitar now with 40+ and i got my first guitar a black squier se with skunk stipe and I love this guitar a lot. I have maybe the most noobish question somebody can ask, but how can someone get this awsome backing music to play to. I somebody else from the comunity can help me out I would apriciate it! Thank you Dave for letting us have part! ❤
i see you are watching the Rock Werchter set from last year, i was lucky enough to be there and was the first chance i got to see the chillies live. Unreal.
11:11 in length, you dialled it up to 11 in face melting guitar skills, Nigel Tufnel would be proud, Vim Fuego would be jealously dismissive, i'm astonished. Mic drop vid 🔥
You should be an award winning chart topping guitar God. I know it's all about expressing yourself and there may be constraints involved but have you never considered being a session guitarist at least? Do you never audition for bands? I know the trio is something you enjoy and want to grow but you are too good to not be rocking it with the very best.
