Yes for sure. Whoops are the best way to learn FPV. I could fly ok in line of sight but as soon as I put the goggles on it was very different. I crashed my Spartan race drone..just like 10 ft drop onto grass, but the frame is pretty thin and it broke. So the Mobula7 was perfect to learn on. Keep the camera only like 10 degrees up from flat so you can just hover and cruise. Go outside on a calm day over grass. It can take many many grass crashes. One thing is the props are pressed on and very tough to get off and the motors are tiny with a 1mm or 1.5 mm shaft. It's very easy to bend them. I couldnt get a prop off with a screwdriver carefully prying from side to side. One time I actually snapped a motor shaft off the bell. So next time if the prop is garbage I'm going to use an old soldering iron and melt the prop where the shaft goes in to at least loosen it up. I love these little whoops because you can fly inside and outside in a tiny park and not bother people too much but they are small and hard to work on a little. Soldering onto the flight controller is like nano brain surgery...lol. I'm going to buy a solder station with lighted magnifying glass and something to hold a circuit board just to make it easier. You need a thin tip on the soldering iron and pre tin the pad and the wire and basically just a quick second touch and they are on. Have to make sure not to bridge these tiny pads as well. But I enjoy building and fixing them still. I broke the Mobula7 frame and it's like 7 bucks to get another. Same as the Mobula6. The mobula 6 comes with optional HD camera to record HD. Goggle view is still like normal analog FPV. The small tiny drones are a lot of fun in FPV.😃

Thanks brother! 😃 First flight around the neighborhood. The video transmitter can only do 25mw. My other drones can do 200mw and one does 800mw so the video shouldn't break up as much. If you look at the top right corner under FLY MIN... just below that is the RSSI or radio signal strength. You can see at the furthest I get the RSSI goes down into the 20's and I'm close to loosing transmitter reception. But I ordered another transmitter that uses TBS Crossfire protocol and that transmitter and receiver can go for miles away. 😃 I have a slightly bigger FPV quad that has a video transmitter that does 800mw so I can have video and radio reception.

@@KaizerTest 800mw is long range then is it? It would be cool to fly fpv miles away! That's what I would do, dive some mountains and fly around bridges n stuff! What would u recommend for me to get into it ya think? I'm tempted to get the DJI fpv only coz it'll have all the safety features a bit like the Mavic. But obviously it's a bit pricey init? Then there's the mini whoop style ones like that nobula thing your flying

@@ksrnate DJI FPV is no good. WAY too expensive to buy and repair. It's just like the cars...if you understand it better and it's made of components that can be replaced then its easier and cheaper to fix. To start I recommend getting a small Whoop drone like this one. It's the best to learn on because you will be crashing a lot. Frames are cheap, motors are fairly cheap too. Get a radiomaster TX16 controller. It has OPEN TX which is an operating system that will let you bind ANY receiver. And it also has a bay in the back that allows you to put a TBS Crossfire module in so you can run Crossfire. Crossfire is the protocol that can do like 25miles away. But quad batteries will only let you get 2-3miles away but still pretty good. Also some of these long range race drone type quads have GPS. It's not as fail proof as a camera drone but if you disconnect it will bring it back to you. The Race drones in general have a learning curve but it's fun/frustrating learning but also rewarding. I've learned a lot. But anytime you go far there is a big risk with any quad that it will never come back. The camera GPS drones are the safest for sure but FPV is great fun. You can also get just the DJI digital goggles and many of these drones on Banggood have DJI video transmitters (VTX) as an option when you buy it. Of course it's very expensive so I'm staying with analog for now. I bought some nicer camera's to try and see if I can get better quality FPV image. You can also put a Insta 360 go on these drones or get one that has an onboard HD DVR. There's so many options. But being able to fix a frame easy and cheap is why I would stay away from the DJI Race drone. The plastic is more fragile than the carbon fiber of most race drones.

@@KaizerTest I know what your saying, to be honest I can't stand the anolog image you get from the drone. And them DJI goggles are silly money! I'd be better off learning to fly first then maybe DJI goggles further done the line. When I watch the racing I don't know how they do it with that anolog video? It just looks crap 🤭 like an old 80's TV with a coat hanger for an Ariel 🤣 anyway I'm goin for the 140mph this weekend pal so you better get yours goin faster! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

@@ksrnate Yeah the video footage looks crap but you get used to it and not really notice it after awhile. It's the cheapest way to learn to fly FPV. Line of sight flying is totaly different. It's good to know but completely different feel all together. But like I said you can get a radio like the Radiomaster TX16 that will alow you to fly a small whoop with cheap analog goggles to learn to fly now and then you can get the crossfire module for the back so you can run crossfire receivers and do long range. Then you can grab some DJI goggles and a Banggood drone with a DJI Vista video transmitter. But that Radiomaster and a whoop is a good start. Yeah I need to get off my ass and get my cars ready...you guys are all flying past me in the speed department...lol. That's what I like about FPV. I can fly anytime but speedruns I can only do for a morning every few weeks. But I like both. The FPV just fills the time in between speed runs.

@@lockingpaul Yeah the range is good for 25mw and yeah it is smooth. Coming straight down you get prop wash but I guess because it's a whoop it kinda normal.
