From what I've heard so far (3:30), given that tether in addition to the fence, plaintiffs sound like models of responsible dog owners.

The defendants just blame everyone else, according to them an animal behavioural specialist, said their dog was traumatised by being attacked by the plaintiffs dog, (yet their dog is the one that attacked first), and that's the reason they put their dog down, I wonder if animal control didn't force them to have it put down, because nobody just decides to have their own dog put down. Once again Pit Bull owners that are total idiots...

These guys didn’t spend the whole case crap talking each other, hopefully they worked out their relationship it didn’t seem like it was completely south . There’s literally a show called Fear Thy Neighbor for a reason…these things turn deadly all the time & it’s so ridiculous. These guys seem like nice people .

I have to just say That an American Staffordshire Terrier is NOT the same breed as an American pitbull Terrier! I wish people would stop calling their pitbulls staffies!

I have owned Pitt bulls and they were all mild mannered babies. But I have also been bit in the face by a neighbors Pitt. It's 100% the owner who dictates what kind of demeanor their dog will have. That goes for EVERY dog no matter the breed. In my dog attack my little 4yr old Min Pin saved me. He is now 18 and living his best life.

No animal behaviorist told them to euthanize the dog because of the "trauma", come on people. They would tell you to consider euthanasia if the dog has a repeated history of attacking other dogs, which I am going to guess is the case here. Also "pay for our fence"... the heck? You want to build a fence, build a fence, but you have to pay for it.

Michael Vick had a number of pit bulls that he used in dog fighting. He was arrested and 47 pit bulls were confiscated. The poor DOS were horribly abused and scared from fighting. Initially the ASPCA was going to euthanize all of them because of the concern that they were not going to be able to rehabilitate the dogs. However rescue groups fought for the dogs and were able to re train the dogs. Over half of these "vicious" fighters were retrained and given forever homes.

The defendants sure were blamers. Everyone else’s fault other than theirs.

I can almost guarantee the Animal Behavioralist told them they could put their dog through intensive training(which would take time and money) OR they could simply "put the dog down". I highly doubt that in this type of case, the AB told the Defendants to simply "put the dog down" and that's it. They took the easy way out and bought a replacement puppy to boot. It's honestly very sad.

Every pit bull owner always without fail says “my dog never showed any signs of aggression”. Every time. I don’t think there is a report that doesn’t have that in there.

I'm disgusted that the defendants had the dog put down(if that's actually what happened). I think it's more likely that animal control deemed the dog dangerous & filed for the dog to be euthanized. (I'm an animal control officer myself)

I Just dropped off my 5lb Chihuahua for dental procedures at the vet (3/3/23) when in walks a macho street dude (I live near Huntington Beach, nice area but "street dudes" are common) sporting a tough-looking Pit. I calmly gave them space, ready to leave quietly, but Dude took offense (probably encounters this often). He snarls "what's UP?" (Me) "sorry but I'm a Rott attack survivor, I don't trust strong breeds" (Dude) "What do you mean by that?? Strong🙄" loads of typical Pit owner tude & sarcasm. Now I'm straight-up and I use the more accurate adjective "Once you're attacked by a Rott, you don't trust aggressive breeds". (Dude) "WHAT?AGGRESSIVE!!??!" 🎯 he proved my exact point on every level. . .I said nothing. Just turned and left. In my car, turned on YT and THIS episode popped up. 🎯 🎯 🎯 universe has a way of confirming Truth. 🕊️✌️🙏

Why does the previous attack matter? Their dog got into their neighbors yard and attacked it while it was tethered.

The real crime here is how much the vets charged. As a pet owner I know how expensive vets can be. My vet diagnosed my cat as a diabetic and was gonna charge me 100 bucks for the insulin. But she did give me a RX and Walmart filled it and needles for 37 bucks.

it amazes me that ppl seem to be so in love with Pit Bulls. They're not very good looking, many have a tendency to bite and when they do, they do a LOT of damage. There are gorgeous dogs like setters that are bred for "soft mouths" their jaw muscles aren't that strong so they don't damage birds that they used to retrieve when they are working.

I owned a Boxer that wasn't bobbed (ears or tail) and people constantly thought he was a pit bull. I could see the change in the humans faces when they knew he was a boxer vs when they thought he was a pit bull. Pit bulls do get a bad wrap, but I think it's mostly due to the stereotype of who owns pit bulls.

Warner Bros has announced that The People's Court and Judge Mathis have been canceled. Series finale has yet to be announced. Sad day, Judge Milian is an incredible force of nature, especially during the golden years of the show which unfortunately the official youtube channel haven't shown yet but other non-officials ones have but are usually taken down by Warner Bros after a few weeks.

Once again, Am Staffs are not pit bulls. American Pitbull Terriers are pit bulls. There are a variety of different "bully" types, but they all aren't "pitbulls".

I am sick to death of pittbull owners that get one of these dogs and know nothing about them. I'm also sick of people who are pittbull haters. I own a pittbull. You must socialize them at an early age with other dogs, people, and children. If you do this. You will not have an aggressive dog. I take my dog to a dog park and she plays with any breed of dog and loves children. Wake up people! Research the breed before you decide to get any dog

The plaintiff lost as soon as I heard Pit Bull! You will never get a fair trial in this courtroom if a Pit Bull is involved. I normally don't watch dog cases because I know how they will end.

And I don't agree with the judge about the fence. Depending on where they are it could be everyone pays for the fence, but if the fence is damaged and they have to put a fence up or fix it the owner of said fence should reimburse them.
