Here's a fun fact: Tennessee has two state flowers. It has a state wildflower, the passionflower, and the iris is the state cultivated flower.

Thank you for sharing Kaylee. This video could not have come out at a better time. I was doing some foraging in my front pasture this weekend and found a huge patch of passion flower. I was so excited and now I can't wait to make my own tinctures. Can I also dry the leaves and flowers for teas?

Kaylee I just want to let you know I am so interested in your workshop but right now I am such on a little budget and I'm living paycheck to paycheck I know I can download the ebook but my computers are not that great and I really don't have a lot of room I know that herbalism is one of the things I want to do very bad I'm so interested in it. You are one of my favorite people to watch about it I wish you could do a series like on RU-vid to help like one two and three series that would be so much better for me or you could do it through your emails❤🙏❤️

Any options similar to passionflower? Found out the hard way it causes pancreatitis in my crazy body with autoimmune and other health issues. I will say before the pancreatic issues passionflower was fantastic with my stress and sleep issues. HIGHLY recommend for those who can take it

But what about beautiful Violet and her breed? I get that her breed isn't necessarily good for farming, but have you had problems with her breed or physique since you moved to the farm? I love her so much and would love an Italian mastiff but have the same life/farming wishes you had at first and would love some feedback on that. And to see more of beautiful Violet! Also, I understand about xl breeds and have seen firsthand how fast they can age, so if that is why she hasn't been on much, I understand and my biggest prayers and wishes to her!

I am growing Passiflora caerulea in Northern BC Canada in big pots. Took me 3 years to germinate a seed, overwintered it inside, took cutting so now have two, and that one is blooming (so 5 years for my 1st flower-but its was worth it)... Can I use Passiflora caerulea medicinally too, I think you said you were growing a different one.

I have a question, and im not sure about where to ask. I harvested my stinging nettle earlier this spring. I put it in my herb dryer that is just a open-air shelf with netting. I stored it in my greenhouse and kind of forgot about it. It's definitely dry. My question is, is it too dry now that I've let it sit out for these hot summer days. I don't use my greenhouse in the summer months when it's so hot and so temperatures have gotten upwards of 120 f in the greenhouse. I hope I didn't cook all of the nutrients out of my nettles. Do you think I could still use them?

Is it safe to eat Passiflora incarnata fruit while pregnant/breastfeeding? I am reading that tinctures are unsafe during this time. Would you have any recommendations? Thank you!

Hey there! It is not advised to take passionflower while pregnant as it may cause uterine contractions.
