Was just at Universal Hollywood last week... dollie maggs, totally correct, The Best ride in the park, and video does not even come close to the real life experience. We went on this ride 3 x. The feeling dropping , turning, combined with physical objects, was simply awesome.. kudos to the creators and engineers who nailed this one.
Out of all the videos I've seen of this ride in Orlando on RU-vid over the years, is the by far the BEST footage I've ever seen. Now I've seen everything more clearer and heard things I've never heard before. Good job!
Is this ride like the avatar Banshee ride in Animal Kingdom? I get motion sickness but am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and really want to ride this. Are you able to take off the 3d glasses because that would probably help big time. I have something called emetiphobia which prevents me from doing things that could possibly make me vomit and so I don't want to put myself in a bad situation. The banshee ride was okay for me by the way.
I was at universal studios yesterday and i rode this but i never knew i had motion sickness, yeah, i rode it and right after i threw up lol i was fine but my stomach did not agree with me
I dont recommend it. I rarely get motion sickness, usually just on boats. Ive been on the ride 3 times and the first 2 i was on the verge of vomitting. i know someone who works there and she told me its the 3D screens so if you do decide to go just close your eyes on that part. it partially worked for me the one time i did it but not fully.
Its not the best ride to ride trust me, i was on that ride yesterday (im serious) and i didn't know i had motion sickness and rode it and threw up, if u want to get sick or nausea then u can ride it but not the best idea
There is no drop, the whole ride is a moving moving simulator. Think of a robot arm holding your seats and it swinging you around while moving on a tracking slowly.
Glasses Ride Star Tours Toy Story Midway Mania Shrek 4D Transformers Ride Justice League Battle For Metropolis Spider-Man Ride Mickeys Philharmagic Muppet Vision 3D Flight Avatar Despicable Me Minion Ride Turtle Trek
I got motion sickness on the Simpsons ride really bad, based on anyone's experience on the ride would you say that one could get motion sickness from this?
Vanessa Moreno it was worse with the 3D glasses. My sister told me that the last time they rode it with the 3D effects my cousin after they got off completely threw up. The 3D effects were taken down due to nausea.
At 4:59, the girl next to the guy with the big beard looked and smiled directly at me as she waved at me. And so, I was like oh dang! I like you too! And I waved and smiled back at her.
It's more intense than the simpsons ride. Google Harry Potter and the forbidden journey and you'll see some picks of how the seats are connected to a robotic arm on a track
i used to be scared of the Simpsons ride. i went on the Simpsons ride after going on this one and it wasn't as fun as i remember. same with the transformers ride.
Can someone please tell me the exact parts you would go flat on the back and how it feels while on the ride ? I been wanting to go on this since the Orlando one opened but I'm going to universal Hollywood June..
+Jeff The Killer thank you! Also is there any drops even though I have known about this ride for six years and never been able to go to universal to ride it, finally I'm getting to June. If there is a drop how big would you say the drop is ? It couldn't be very long because the mechanical arm
This question is for first timers and people who have gone on this ride First Timers: Did you guys think this ride was intense People Who Have Gone Here: Do you know if you can record on this ride
It was seriously amazing!! Super fun and you have a harness so it isn't very scary! There is one part during the whomping willow where you rotate say 270 degrees but it is over before you know it! It is really great!
@@_Rere._. so the 3d effects still work without glasses? Also a character in the queue giving safety tips (a character in one of the portraits) was told once he got on the ride not to forget to wear his goggles. That is why I am making a big deal out of this
I went on the ride and i sm 8 i wenton the ride when i was 8 but I'm about to be 9 so i was probably the youngest one to go on the ride its only moition
