Trane RTU No cooling service call
Hvac troubleshooting on a no ac service call Trane unit remote panel holding unit in off mode / status, by removing the common or ground wire for remote panel i solved the problem 😀 and got the cooling working 💪 again.

it could be a summer time unoccupied set point that has not been switched off from the BAS. I have a feeling they might plug that back in and setup the proper perameters for that unit.

Nice , so did the NSB panel need to be replace, what you do with the wire you remove from #6.

the NSB panel wasn't defective it was found off! i just couldn't gain access to it at the time... thanks for watching

Do a video on test mode . Currently learning about RTU in hvacr school trans units as well. The rtu was calling for heat , and then wouldn’t turn off after it reach set point . Once i got the unit to stop calling for heat it wouldn’t heat back up now . Please comment back for any advice

Also my thermostat is wireless but there is another thermostat i forgot the correct Name exact & model number , but I found on the schematics how to wire it up and I wired it up correctly so I’m not sure if the thermostat is bad or not ….

What type of system are you working on? Does it have a terminal block with designated thermostat wiring connections ie R.C.Y.W.G. ?

@@D2DNYAC just a red blinking light, Which means it’s trying to call for heat I believe, also I will check for the terminal block when I go back to school thanks for your help so far i really appreciate it . Keep uploading!!

@@D2DNYAC Were you near 8 Spruce Street? From internet pictures it looks like it might be the New York by Frank Gehry. If so, it's considered in the top 10 craziest looking buildings in NYC. If it is, and you think it's just another building in NYC then we have a major difference of opinion. 😃

It is Spruce street LOL 😆 I guess the building is cool idk i am not intrigued around these parts there's more intriguing buildings like the oculus my opinion and it's only a few minutes away.

I take it you didn't have no voltage at your external stop contacts or was that AC voltage?

Hello my friend this wasn't an external stop event ! So potential/ voltage was definitely on the external stop terminals or the unit would display that condition.
