You sure aint lying. I told a classmate at Wilberforce once when asked what I was doing this weekend. I said I was going to a celebration at the Carter G Woodson center. The fine young lad then asked me....who that is? I then asked him, how did you even get into this school? I was being a smart ass but my point was understood. I can only hope 36 years later that young lad has changed his blackness and is listening to Karen and her crew but lord have mercy, it can actually be a broken wish.

This is trash. Yes it sounds silly to compare apples to oranges, however, nooooo body is asking why she was recording their phone call in the first place. Private phone call mind you. Why would you do that unless you planned on using it for something. What did she have in mind when she decided to record it? Nobody finds that to be suspicious behavior? Or it's just me right?! Okay!!! Like I said, dumpster fire....

Wow..., is all I can say. I kept going back and listening to segments of this interview because so much of it resonated with how humanity should be our default. The lies that we are told and are conditioned to repeat to our own soul...., it horrible. Mr. Jones and Dr. Hunter showed us how to have a time brings a change conversation. “Racism (global white supremacy) is the local and global power system dynamic, structured and maintained by those who classify themselves as white; whether consciously or subconsciously determined; this system consists of patterns of perception, logic, symbol formation, thought, speech, action and emotional response, as conducted simultaneously in all areas of people activity: economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex, and war. The ultimate purpose of the system is to ensure white genetic survival and to prevent white genetic annihilation on Earth - a planet in which the overwhelming majority of people are classified as non-white, (black, brown, red, and yellow) by white skinned people. I love his explanation of his experience with his former partner. As a black woman , who has seen so many BM with other races of women, I wonder if there’s some trauma there. I don’t doubt that there’s some internalized pain there. He is so right about Black people are the most brainwashed; we had to be because it was the only way we were going to survive. We are descendants of captive people who were broken in so many ways. Interracial relationships don’t bother me when I remember that. It bothers me when these very men hate and harm BW for not choosing them. Much love to you Orlando, may you find the love you deserve_ no matter her color

My husband was not feeling the idea. But I saw how close they were. Now 13, My grandaughter identifies as Black. She wears her hair very curly with all of the black beauty products. She doesn't really look white. She is golden, she does not like the word mixed. She says she is black.

Silly comedians' (Katt Williams) interview was powerful and eye-opening. Just as Orlando's video is powerful. You have two individuals with similar stories. Expressed differently but told truthfully. Katt Williams was s..t on by folks who look like him. Yet, these same individuals. As Katt called them (the gatekeepers) black, powerful men. Drinking the poison Kool-aid of white society. Men who believe in order for them to get ahead. They have to backstab their own. Play the game of step and fetch to get ahead. Therefore, Katt"s video gives insight and clarity. Allowing you, the listener, to see past the shiny gold ball of fame. Ask yourself, why do these black men have wives that are extremely light, damn near white. Let's not forget about (black athletes). Most embrace colorism to the fullest. This has caused severe, serious emotional psychological damage within our race and outside our race. Unfortunately, colorism has conditioned the minds of black men and some black women. They're not enough unless they play the white mans game. By leaning into a false belief system. That has brainwashed many of our people. To see each other as not worthy to help each other get ahead. Orlando's take of all white people being racist and listening to him explain why he feels this way is understandable. Again, you have Orlando's take on whiteness, and Katt"s take on black men in Hollywood and whiteness. I take my hat off to both men. You don't have to like Katt Williams. To hear the truth in his interview. 💯

Orlando Jones channeled the complexities of Anasi. His manifestation of Anasi resonated in many. Once that string was plucked, no one could stop its vibration from reverberating. I think they cancelled an insanely popular character out of fear. I didn't see Anasi as angry, I saw him correcting unbalanced scales.

my father was African and my mother was Caucasian. Born and raised only around white people in rural UK in the 60s. I did not even know what racism was until I was 16 and moved to London. Because I was a single black child I was no threat, in fact I was novel and grew up with good self esteem as children WANTED to be friends with the ‘different’ kid. However, I would contend that each and every one of us is racist. It is impossible for us not to be. Every day of our lives we are exposed to messages that white is better than non-white. I honestly believe that we cannot start to dismantle racism until each one of us looks at and accepts that we ALL view blackness negatively……because we have ALL been taught to. It is the filter through which we see the world. I have a lot more empathy for Caucasians when I remember they are suffering from the same lifelong conditioning that I am.

Fortunately, I learned the pitfalls, risks and complications of interracial dating when I was 17. After a very brief dating experience with a white girl in my mostly Black high school, one that she ended abruptly without explanation, no discussion. Orlando speaks nothing but truth. It’s not fair to paint ALL interracial relationships with the same brush, but most black people in them have to acquiescence their black experience for them to work. I’m not that one.

Racism like most societal entities has evolved. In the past, it was chic to profess one's racism but now the opposite is true. The zeitgeist of America is someone who is always coming after you. They are always trying to get what you have. Another belief of America is to be as wealthy as you can be and always gain and obtain property. But when you have much, you must now secure what you have. And the more you acquire, the more difficult it is to watch and maintain those possessions. To make sure you can keep what is gotten, You then enlist someone who is like you and you give them some items and say “Those people are trying to get what WE have.” Even if the goods were stolen and absconded through nefarious means. Western civilization has advanced through subjugation and manipulation, and those who have obtained property through such means must develop a sense of paranoia in order to justify their status. There is no group of people on this planet who have not been negatively affected by Europeans. They have a lot of blood on their hands and they think karma is coming. So by default, they must live a guarded life. What they don't speak of is their love of power, and the acquisition of goods gives them power. No one wants to be powerless, and there is a comfort that you have when you have power. Others cater to you; furthermore, they protect you, when you have power. Racism has evolved into Anti-Blackness because its antithesis is pro-Whiteness. It's not chic to say pro-White, so you must now codify your speech. Couple that with paranoia the atmosphere of “they want what we have,” and fear of karmic energy, and the love of power- you must have all of this to maintain. Racism is the nice package that encompasses the aforementioned and if you want to keep what you have, you must keep it going.

All of the non-white people are genetically dominant (in terms of skin coloration) compared to the genetic recessive white skinned people.” - Dr. Frances Cress Welsing

It’s so wonderful that his daughter had a different perspective on black people. My two blacks sons do as well. They’ve lived economically privileged lives with educated professionals as parents. Now as they leave for college im soooooo conflicted as to the preparation my husband and I have begun to undertake in getting them prepared to interact with white hostility, ignorance and bias.am I just preparing them for that reality OR has the reality actually changed. Will they encounter less racial bias than their dad and I did. Am I doing them a dis-service by “ preparing” them- setting them up to see bias where there may not be any? OR would not have those conversations be the mistake.

I think Orlando is somewhat misguided with this definition. He's saying that "all white people are racist" because whether they like it or not, they benefit from their whiteness. Benefiting from whiteness does not make you racist. That's "white privilege". Racism is discrimination or prejudice based on your perceived race (such as color of skin, etc). I do agree with him when he says that all white people benefit from racism. That's the privilege afforded them as a result of the systemic racism felt by Black and other people of color.

Orlando Jones ... I dig this brother. I hear what he's saying and I think it needs a slight adjustment: to BE "racist" is be ACTIVE ... to be an active participant. Receiving the BENEFIT is "passive". For example, if you are the favorite student in a class and receive the benefits there of, that doesn't make you suck up, a brown noser, or whatever, because that's on the teacher. If you begin to lord it over the other students, become a bully, lie with abandonment because you know you will always get the benefit of the doubt, now you have taken on those negative labels. If you do nothing to correct the imbalance, you may be an enabler, but you certainly can't be trusted to be an ally because when things get tough you can always fall back on the preferential treatment. If, however, you use your status to get over on the teacher to the benefit of those being treated more harshly, you have acknowledged the system and being powerless to change the system, have MANIPULATED the system, and may be an ally who has placed false characterizations on how much of a participant in the system you are. The hardest thing to do is to see the benefit and actively throw it away, because not only do you no longer receive its benefits, but you can no longer transfer some of the benefits to those who have otherwise been harmed, essentially placing yourself in the harmed group through your last act of control stemming from your original power: CHOOSING to be in the powerless group ... like royalty taking off all their signs of status. However ... the TRUE power is that at all ... MOST ... times, you still have the option to RETURN to power. THAT is all to say, RACISM exists and is indeed baked into the American societal construct. I believe, however, to be "rac-IST" one has to actively exercise that power in a way that continues to harm. The problem for White people in THIS society is that where they fall is determined by a razor thin edge of decision making where the foot straddles the line to keep balance, but necessarily crosses over to both sides of the line as balance is sought. Some give up and just go full-on RACIST and wiled as much destructive power as they can, some jump in on the full-on ally side, call themselves "Freedom Riders" and get lynched next to their darker-hued friends, but most keep straddling the line, waving hands on both sides to keep from falling and having no power or being drunk with power. The problem for those line-walkers is that their hands, their wavering bodies, and their determination to stay on the line necessarily has them doing some racist things at some point or another. Even the ability to straddle the line is an exercise of power within the system. So the real question is for those line straddlers: Is being even a LITTLE BIT RACIST the same as being full-on RACIST ... you know ... like even being a little bit of African decent was tantamount to being full-on Black, for the purposes of being oppressed ... being "3/5 ths of a person" under the Constitution, for being denied jobs, the right to vote ... 1st Class citizenship...? To be RACIST is to actively wield negative power over others, so I don't believe every White person IS racist, but I do believe they all have a CHOICE, and that sometimes even the slightest dip to one side makes all the difference.
