OH hell for Gods sake this is disgusting.....The jockey of one of the horses ,as do many just walked away and only came back because the cameras were on him as an afterthought, leaving the poor animal on its own with what looked like a badly fractured pelvis how can this be acceptible??.
Who thought making jumps like this was a good idea, humans are such imbeciles im so happy for every horse that doesn't have to do this they deserve love, bond and friendship, not this SH#T
How is this a thing? Surely the risk that your horse is severely injured or killed at any given race outweighs whatever financial gain they recieve? Horses are too expensive to keep just to die. I hate horse racing in general but this form seems exceptionally pointless 🤨
They still try to follow the other horses. It’s sad seeing them struggle to keep up with the herd. All of the people in the racing industry who fall and get hurt deserve it. I can’t wait until horse racing becomes illegal
You obviously don't care about your horse to see the outcome and still enter your horse in risky competition like this for what fame money ? It's not worth it
Holy sheep shit, is there a jumps race where some animal doesn't get crippled up or killed?!? I'm from the States and it's just amazing how many damn horses get killed on these jumps courses.
May not be the same one but I'm sure as soon as that jock got off that horse and realized he was upset and crying his eyes out. Jumps jockeys in NZ and Aus hardly make a cent, same with owners. They aren't forced or made to jump like show jumpers, yea they will put a fence in front of them, but it's ultimately up to the horse if he wants to jump them. Some love to simply jump at home but aren't interested come raceday, sometimes it's the other way around. More horses get killed from bleeding/cardiovascular issues running wild in herds than they do raceday.
And what would happen then ? The horses wouldn't even have a life, they have in in their genes to run , what they are bred for. Stick a horse in a paddock that wants to run and it can do more harm to itself just tearing around and being hyped up. In this country more horses do harm to themselves running around a paddock than racing. After being around horses and stables for 40 years I get sick of comments from people that summise without knowing and wouldn't recognise a race horse if it bit them in the bum.
Some people don’t seem to realise that injuries happen in every equestrian sport. And frequently. Everyday there are thousands of horse races. And very few of those races actually result in injuries. It’s just that, compared to other equestrian sports they are televised much better. There might be only one professional cross country event a week, whereas they’ll be hundreds of races. Of course more horses are going to get injured. There are more horses competing. Compared to other equestrian sports horse racing has much more regulations and rules put in place to make it safer and to put ten falls in a video and say that means it’s “unsafe” proves nothing
so your only defense is "yeah, we might kill thousands upon thousands of horses for our own pleasure, but it's okay, because we aren't as bad as the animal torturers. 😊" the fact that your go-to argument wasn't "we don't kill horses" and was instead "we kill less horses then the other guys" says enough about how sadistic and savage horse racing is.
@@SiennaLOVESpugs yea, accidents can happen everywhere, but everything has to go horribly wrong for a horse to die on dressage or olimpic jumping or any other horse sport that has minimal care for their horses, in racing horses die just by racing, they are pushed to far and this legs break horribly o they have heart failures it's not "accidents happen" it's "most of them will die doing what we want them to do but we don't care"
As long as you realise that without the horse racing industry, these horses would not be living freely in a horse utopia. They would be considered useless and be culled. I'm more concerned about Tigers and Elephants etc. Real life is suffering. I'd rather be a thoroughbred than nearly any other animal species. The real problem is that there are far too many humans. It's OK, I'll be gone soon enough and so will you.
I disagree, many of these horses (that are less than five years old are in horse racing which is dangerous to horses and riders. It’s a utopia until the horse can’t race. Either they are put down or sold off if they’re lucky
