It feels like a surprise that Laura would be a SHIELD agent, but of course she would be. Where else would someone like Clint find a woman, but at work?

You know what? That scene when Laura is talking in German reminded me of Age of Ultron when she asked Tony to check the tractor and Fury was there? Tony asked him if Maria Hill had called him but Nick deflects the question. Mhm. I'm excited to see where this is going. Also, I love Yelena. She is doing all those poses she mocked Nat and I'm here for it.

I love that Clint has so much depth to his character, from his time as an assassin with S.H.I.E.L.D. , to being an Avenger, to his turn as Ronin. The pain he and Scarlett Witch have endured helped them sort of bond in a way, and Kate is helping him release all of this bottled up emotion. I don't care what anyone says, Hawkeye is awesome!

You guys were talking about Laura's potential future/past roles. When we watched it yesterday I turned to my wife and said "every Marvel movie and tv show is like a harvest of what was planted before, and while we're enjoying the bounty, they're planting new seeds as we go 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️❤️

I love that mcu is showing the other side of the heroes, their pain, grief etc. From wanda, bucky, loki to hawkeye i am loving what they are doing with the charecters.

Personally, I would like it if Clint becomes the official mentor to the unofficial Young Avengers team. Who else would the MCU Avengers trust to look after their kids, but this version of Hawkeye?

The police woman Wendy Conrad, who had the bag with the text Bombshell written on it, is a villain character from the comics called Bombshell and a member of the Death-Throws.

I’ve always thought Laura Barton was once a shield agent. It just makes sense. I think she is the one who makes his arrows. And the kids maybe have input. That goo arrow looked suspiciously like Nickelodeon slim.

I'm thinking Eleanor called Val and that's why Yelena showed up at the end of the episode. I also loved the parallel of Kate not taking the shot at Yelena like Clint said he didn't take the shot at Nat

Remember awhile back Linda Cardellini said it would be cool if Laura Barton got a movie but knew that wouldn't happen because the fans wouldn't want it. What if they actually fill out her character and made her someone relevant in the mcu.

OMG, seriously my anxiety peaks during these episodes... then the fast and abrupt end is so gut wrenching. LOL The emotional depth and acting is so fierce in this series, really exposing Clint to the public. So much opening up for Val and Finch's hand to be in a lot of this

Tony Dalton's Jack is such a obvious mustache twirling villain that he can't possibly be the big bad, he's going to turn out to be a nice guy in the end.

I love how every reactor looks over Laura herself saying in code to "ice" then if you have to. I think the watch reveals Laura herself.

I like how the larpers seem to be taking the place of Clint's neighbors from his apartment building in the Matt Fraction run. The party in the aunt's apartment was obviously supposed to be like the barbecue on the roof in the comics.

How about if Laura Barton's SHIELD code name was "Ronin" and that watch somehow connects her to the name (like a retirement award ). Clint took on her name during the blip because he wanted them to fear her name.

The whole boomerang arrow conversation that was in the comics, but instead of Kate coming up with the idea it was Clint who thought of using boomerang arrows, and my theory is that they'll us those in the finale.

Marvel is just soo good. The comics have always been wonderful and Feige knows exactly how to translate that into screen. We really are enjoying some top notch storytelling. The inclusivity. It's so good.

My top 2 favorite Hawkeye moments in the comics: 1. The entire Matt Fraction/David Aja series 2. That fingernail scene

Laura brought up the watch, she's obviously concerned about it. It's hers. She's the "friend" who's cover would be blown. At least that's my take.

Could Laura potentially be Mockingbird? Also, I definitely have a feeling that the watch belongs to her and that's what Clint was talking about. Maybe Fisk, if he really is the boss, is after the watch to bring Clint/Ronin down using that and Laura's cover as leverage 🧐

What if the person that ordered the hit on Clint is actually Eleanor when she was placing that phone call in this episode, as maybe this episode coincides with the end credit scene in Black Widow. So that end credit scene happens during episode 4. 🥺

They are saying episode 5 is going to be explosive so I'm really anxious for next week. I have really come to care about Clint and I don't want him to die. I'm really hoping Disney won't do that in a Christmas themed show.

What would be perfect....what my soul needs....if for Kate and Yelena to become best friends. It would be the perfect parallel to Clint and Natasha's friendship.

So many great moments in this show. I'm really surprised by it, and to my disbelief it has become my favorite Marvel Disney+ show AND one of my top 5 MCU entries. It has navigated the episodic narrative of a series better than any other D+ shows, it has grounded and personal stakes that even if they are not Earth-shattering, they feel terrible and could turn everything on its head. There's also something about the cast as a whole -Marvel casting in general is spot on- but here, everyone brings something, even the Track Suit mafia members. I don't know, I just love this so far, and I really hope they can sustain this level of quality until the end. Oh, and....was Laura Barton known at some point as Bobbi Morse? Could that watch be proof of that? Can't wait!

Since Black Widow came out, I had some questions about VAl. The main one being how she knew certain details that should have been inaccessible to her, which, to me tells me there is a mole. I think that mole is Laura Barton. Val knew two things that should have not been known, the status of Caps shield, and that Clint killed Nat, which obviously he didn't, but there is only two people who were witness to Nats death, Clint and Red Skull. However, Clint would have confided in Laura the events on Vormir. Now that Laura is being portrayed to have skill beyond raising children, how did she have such quick access to who was running the Track Suit Mafia? Clint Barton's end in this series has always been a problem because of his family, however, if it turns out that Laura is a double agent, his death could lead to far more story lines than him just retiring into the sunset.

I think Laura Barton IS Mockingbird and she was also a former SHIELD agent when she met Clint. The watch ties her to her past identity!

They said she was actually on set for 2 weeks and it looks like she's gonna play a big part in the last 2 eps.

I think the story about Clint not being able to take the shot is a huge misdirect. We all immediately think it's Natasha. What if the target was Laura? She was originally Bobbi Morse / Mockingbird (or maybe a Black Widow). Clint faked her death (with a little help from Fury) and they changed her name to Laura. The watch has info on Laura's past as Mockingbird.

I'm seriously hoping that Contessa Valentina comes to Kate in the next episode trying to recruit her now that she has been rejected (for now) by Clint, but Kate ends up refusing her, compared to what Walker and Yelena did in going along with what she says.

Wait, Tony Dalton is Latino? We stay winning in the MCU. Gamora, Valkyrie, Nakia, Makkari, Ajak and now Swordsman.

Im starting to think Jack is innocent and that Eleanor (Kate’s mom) is the one actually laundering money to Uncle and she just put Jack as the CEO of the shell company on paper as a cover for herself.

So much to love in this episode you guys covered most of it, but I'm heartbroken that it doesn't seem that Jack and Clint know each other. :( I was looking forward to that conversation.

Tony Dalton (The Swordman) is a Mexican-american actor. We know him since early 2000s when he was the main character in a Jackass-like show called "No te equivoques (don't get me wrong)". Then, he went to off-broadway, Mexican telenovelas, some series like "Los Simuladores" (a heist-like kind of storyline) and movies like "Matando Cabos". Recently, you can see him as the star of HBO's "Sr. Ávila" and as Lalo Salamanca in "Better call Saul".

Of all the reaction channels i watch you guys are the only ones i watch start to finish even after the reaction is done just because i love the discussions. Ive been a huge geek for marvel with these movies and its cool listening to all comic stuff you guys talk about. The mustache man is too villainy to be the actual villain of the show. He might be a bad guy but he’s not yet his final for. If that makes any sense. Like something will happen to send him over the top and only then he will become the true villain his mannerisms suggests he is.

Personally, I think they're going to reveal that Laura was Mockingbird in the MCU (And, yes, I'm aware that's who Adrianne Palicki was in AoS... but the higher-ups never considered it canon despite ALL the connections they actually had. Sure, they would be stupid NOT to bring back Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin IF that's what they're leading up to - which I hope they are - but it wouldn't be hard to recast and rewrite Mockingbird for the main MCU)

New crazy insane theory that maybe isn’t so insane, ready? We’ve seen the episode 5 trailer now, and there’s a scene where Yelena catches some kind of juice that’s thrown and says “hello” like everything is fine. It seems incongruous at best with how we saw her in the Black Widow post credit scene and in the last part of episode 4. Maybe she’s talking to someone besides Clint or Kate when she catches the juice. Or? Maybe she and Clint already met and had it out off-screen before this series even started. Maybe Clint took Eleanor’s request/threat seriously and (again, off screen during the episode) set up the encounter with Yelena (not expecting to run into Maya, which complicated things) on the roof to establish a reason with Kate for Clint to send her home and keep her safe. Think about it: we’ve already seen that the Widow’s Bite was less effective than it usually is (almost like Yelena had the settings turned down some, Kate wouldn’t know the difference) and Yelena had multiple clean opportunities to kill Clint (or Kate or Maya) and chose not to. Yelena went out of her way to secure Kate before throwing her off the roof (almost like she was just trying to scare her) and when Kate was aiming an arrow at her, Yelena had a silent head shake for Kate which seemed like a pretty loaded message. Then Clint tells Kate “you don’t want to know” when Kate asks who that was, before just answering her anyway. Clint is an accomplished, legendary spy, and such subterfuge is easy for him; second nature. Same for Yelena - it’s a part she can play easily. Eleanor was calling Fisk after all in the phone call, and she was indeed asking for his help to make Hawkeye go away, but it’s too soon after that phone call for those wheels to have effectively been put in motion fully yet. I think this is the kind of twist that makes a lot of sense for the show - maybe they spend the opening of episode 5 with the third flashback of the series so far, this time to like 3 months ago, when Clint and Yelena first squared off and ultimately reconciled and talked about what really happened on Vormir. That’s my kooky tin foil hat theory. But I really don’t think it’s even that crazy, to be honest. Doesn’t mean that’s what WILL happen, but I think it’s pretty plausible. Thoughts?

I bet that watch is Nick Fury's watch. And Laura Barton has gotta be Mockingbird. She clearly knows who/what Clint is and is not only okay with it, participates in it.

"Laura" was "Hawkeye's" original S.H.I.E.L.D. partner? It almost makes TOO much sense. "Clint" and "Laura" defeated and rescued "Nat?" Makes WAY too much sense. Also, let's remember that we know "Clint" has been training his kids. I would pay MONEY to see "Laura" and the kids defend their home and "Laura" end up being the one to kick "Echo's" ass. Wait... I AM paying money for this!

Thanks Hector for explaining with technical words what I thought when I first saw Yelena during that episode. That scene looked digitally "altered", like Yelena wasn't present with the rest of the actors on that rooftop. I couldn't put my finger on it, but that was it! Respect.

What if laura couldnt go to new york with the family and why clint and laura have to set up a home outside of the system is cause laura did some pretty big shield or spy stuff in the past and she is still wanted in parts of the world 😁😁

There is literally a song from the 1920's called "Shimmy like my sister Kate".

What if Jack isn’t who he seems to be, but is who he seems not be? What if that Rolex actually belongs to Jack? What if Jack calls Clint “Archer” to cover up them working together many years ago? I get the feeling Jack will not be so upset about the Ronin sword going missing.

Is it possible that Clint as Ronin used to work for Val during the Blip and the reason why she sent Yelena after him is because he stopped and went back to his normal life??? Like Clint said, he was a weapon...so maybe Val used Ronin as hers.

It's like you guys said, so many different storylines came together and have to be untangled in the next two episodes. I really hope they stick the landing because I absolutely love this series so far. Did you two read the Fraction run? Clint's brother Barney teaches him the quarter trick in one of the issues.
