Thank you , I had no clue the Digital Knit backrest was less pronounced. I can see it in the video. I am using a Fern, with mesh back and lumbar, for me it is overall perfect for me. Before the Fern, I have used the Haworth Zody for many months which is also excellent with different, not as intense lumbar support compared to the Fern. Looking forward to the Sreelcase update. You might want to look at BTOD Lamia chair (Leap backrest with Amia seat hybrid chair)

The digital knit backrest chair in my video is less pronounced because it didn't have the lumbar kit that the black mesh car had. I've actually heard of the BTOD Lamia chair as well and found it interesting. I'm waiting to get money back from my fern chairs and waiting for steelcase to resound to me about any sales for Saint Patrick's day or Easter before I order my Leap chair and then I'll make another video.

I found the Leap with a fabric back was too hot to sit in. Would love to know your thoughts on that in your next review. The two Fern videos were really helpful, thanks!

@5:57 whatever you see on your monitor/screen is always subjective, every LCD/LED monitor out there has separate brightness and contrast settings, not to mention to differ from brand to brand, so long story short, whatever you see on your phone/monitor, will always be different from what you actually 'receive' in real life

If you have back pain problems you should consider investing in an adjustable height desk. I think your desk is too high and it may affect your overall posture in the chair.

@KonradArgasinski I actually do have an adjustable sit/stand desk. I need to get back to a chiropractor that practices Cranial Facial Release/ Nerocranial Restructuring as that's the only way to get permanent results from a chiropractor!

Where did you purchase the Fern without lumbar support and with the forward tilt? I was told only the Executive model had forward tilt

I suggest the leap v2 with headrest

Have you tried an Aeron? It has those side bolsters and forces you into an ergonomic position. It also has forward tilt.

Yes, I did actually at a Herman Miller dealer, and it wasn't terrible, but I didn't like the seat bottoms of any of the Herman Miller chairs as none of them had any cushion. The best seat bottom cushion I have experienced so far is the Haworth Fern, but the back of the chair wasn't comfortable so tomorrow I'm actually going to go pick up a Steelcase Leap showroom model for $500 off and after I spend some time in it I'll post another video to compare it with the Haworth Fern. The only downside is that Steelcase leap doesn't have forward tilt but has 4 way lumbar, though! Also, the Herman Miller chairs were more expensive than both Steelcase and Haworth while being less comfortable than all 3 brands. The only Herman Miller chair I liked was the Embody, which had the best backrest of any chair I sat in so far, but the seat bottom was uncomfortable on my thighs no matter if I had it all the way in or extended or somewhere in between and it had zero cushion.

@@koreymayo8884 maybe have a look at the gaming embody. It has more cushion in both the seat and the backrest. You might like it.

You've had an MRI done, I presume? I hope so... I've been using a Fern (mesh with lumbar) for about 15 months and it's BY FAR the most comfortable chair I've ever owned. So much so that I just dropped $185 on one of the Atlas Headrests for it. I also have a Steelcase Leap V2, which is also quite nice. Not as comfortable for me as the Fern, but still very comfortable. I'm 63 years old and have had a LOT of office chairs in my life.

MRI and Xray don't show any issues, but I have chronic inflammation and pain probably from my low testosterone, which I'm trying to improve naturally, but if that doesn't work, then eventually I'll get hormone replacement
