I heard of Haystak before Eminem , been listening to him since 98, I was 10 yrs old and been a fan ever since . Got every cd he's put out and can prove it ! I don't buy digital music and most ppl think im crazy because of it. I treasure my physical copies! Even got 2 of em signed by Stak! One love !
I got all his CDs too and both the Chicago Classic Hi-Top Js that were so taboo In the 80s lol #Stak Sending love from the 403 Deep Southern Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦
I met him in Utah at liquid Joe's last year. He is so humble. He tried taking me back stage and his people stopped me. But he came out and said I'll be right back. I'll never forget the video he made for me. Love stak for life
I was born and raised in Utah but reside in Alabama now and everywhere I have been in between loves Stak its cool that he mentioned the Book of Mormon in his lyrics I love him and owe him my life one love my brother.
You always gonna be the big homie. I’m 37, from east Tn, and have bumped you since day one. Still do to this day. Down south players got me hooked, I was jammin that shit in middle school. I’ve had all the albums. You come up before social media, you had to hustle and want it in those days. Relaunch that career and show them who the real King of Tennessee is.
That car fulla white boys I still bump til this day!!! I'm 43, and been bumpin it on CD since 2000. Haystak is one of the hardest white dudes with a mic. Much respect my guy. I've upgraded my streaming music this year and now listening to it on Amazon music unlimited
I'm 24 in November and I've been listening to you before I knew I was. My family listened to you from the beginning. So yeah God is definitely moving through you! You've helped so much and the wisdom you speak I've always loved the most. Too much love for you man!! Always supporting and I'ma always be a fan #onelove
2000 Slamming’ and Jammin’ Lebanon, Tn first time a seen/ heard of ya, Stak! I saw y’all riding around in a old late 1990’s suburban on 20’s, if I remember correct. Came back to Knoxville and hit Cats Music up and snagged my first Haystak cd… 👍🏻💪🏻👊🏻
Man I wish you would do more shit like this! Stak got so much history and knowledge to get out there. Yea we can hear the music and brother that’s been a god send for me and mine but seeing this interview was the dopest shit I seen all year!!!!
haystak looking like himself again 💯 this had that start to finish DVD feel and he's right. a comment is like a handshake these days but definitely doesn't have the same feeling a comment is immediate gratification that only last for a few minutes or when someone shook your hand that really meant something haystak took the time to notice me and shook my hand in Cleveland. that was an experience I'll never forget and it's like we all forgot to take time out for each other. we're all going through the same bullshit and nobody cares I also respect the fact that haystak acknowledged that his last project was not his best work and I'm excited for the trilogy he needs to hang out with young blood to give him that bop cuz once you You become an OG like myself. you get complacent because you already put the work but he needs that fire. he ain't dead yet quite the opposite 💯👍
Damn I've followed Staks whole career. Meet him chilled with him and his squad at motels b4 the shows. This is the best interview he's done for youtube. Big ups Uncle Stak.
Def gotta say I still bump stak every day😅 from dollar it's we roll baked strangest dreams bottom and so on and so on. Hay always had them songs that hit closest to me 😀 .Hay you left that circle state out tf!?!?! you ain't Neva been ate a burger in my nappy city?
Damn... I haven't heard from Haystak in over a decade. This message hit home with the Recovery speech. 1 year sober, and still going strong. Opiates are are no joke.
Preach💯. Anyone who ever questioned what an O.G. is REALLY about ought watch this video. Wishing for more frequent content boss... But, how's that for staying relevant. Amen?
This guy was so far ahead of his time. He blew up in a time where white boys werent even taken seriously, not to mention he was plus sized, and he is from tennessee.. unheard of to go platinum in the early 2000s with those traits. Dude really is a dirty south legend. Pay homage to STAK MACK MILLION..
I been listening to Haystak since I was 13 and I am 37 so that’s 24 years the man pretty much raised me I got the tattoo before Adam cal was in grade school straight ogwb Scott dro cwb4lyfe 517
STAK imma keep it a stak! You hit us with that “THEM SOME HATERS, YEAH H A Y T E R S “ drop that mic stak you still the fuckin man BIG HOMIE! Birmingham always been with stak. Since car fulla white boys. Still rock that C Dub playlist! 💯
Still bumpin "The New South" album 15+ years later and never gets old. Always wondered why nobody had heard "Turn it up"/ "Been stoned Kids"/"Big Ass WhiteBoy" etc on one of my fav Stak albums back in like 2010..nor believed me It even existed until I burned them a copy...until recently I saw it was officially released on streaming platforms finally after all these years. which put a big smile on my face after I realized I didn't have to keep making copies of it for the homies anymore 😂 "Bootleg it,burn it, steal it , IDGAF...." Anyways,Just wanted to say hope you're doing well Big Stak. Your music got me through some rough times like cold turkey quitting 6 years on methadone and everything in between.
Kinda crazy the last house.. was a house, then a lil house, then a trailer behind there, lived in the lil house and trailer both around the time stak approached the land lord tubby likens about recording the "so what" music video there.. got denied at the time by that slum lord, recorded it later.. good ol lebanon Tennessee and rip bobby watson. Jason Winfree keep putting in work, always gonna support
