***** exactly, i fucki.g love this saga, best sci-fi ever, even better than mighty DUNE (and i love that one too). Seriously, Hollywood is way overdue, Mass Effect movies could be as big as Star Wars - but Star Wars is popcorn, Mass Effect is more mysterious and surreal
Steak? We'll bang okay? That's gold that femshep could never produce. Plus Femshep got a popular voice actress among gaming fans who has voiced many voices in the gaming world and series.
Lukas Nordlund They didn´t use Schwarzeneggers true voice neither in the Terminator Series, and when they can do it we can do it too... (or maybe we just pay someone to do it)
This seems like it takes place after the war with the Reapers. Shepard seems to be haunted by something. In the third game, Shepard suffers from nightmares. Which is common for soldiers who suffer from ptsd. After the events of the first game, and especially the second game. How could Shepard not be haunted by the past. Especially if some of the crew doesn't survive the suicide mission, in the second game. Mass Effect is the only game I've played, that tries to make the character seem as human as possible. Even if you played the renegade route, through the whole thing. Shepard is still plagued with nightmares, but they're a different from paragon nightmares. When I played the renegade route the first, and killed Wrex. In the third game, his voice was the loudest. He also talked about someone avenging what Shepard did on Virmire. No other game does this sort of thing. Most games try to make the characters as invincible as possible. Mass Effect does the opposite, and I like that.
Kairasu Mass Effect does its best to make the hero of the story as human as possible. Unlike Halo where the hero is the cliché invincible badass, who shows no emotions. Don't get me wrong, I like Master Chief but he lacks that human quality that people can relate to. Commander Shepard on the other hand is still a badass, but a human badass with thoughts and emotions. During the lair of the shadow broker dlc, I was pleasantly surprised to see Liara asking Shepard a very personal question, about how he or she really feels about the Reapers. You're given a choice of answers of course, so I picked to paragon option. Shepard expressed his doubts and fears about the odds, something that he never tells any of his crew. It was the first time I saw Shepard shed that tough exterior and reveal his human side. Then the third game touched on Shepard's humanity even more, with the nightmares. I know a lot people use the nightmares as some sort proof of indoctrination, but I think it's Shepard suffering from PTSD. The dream is about Shepard desperately trying to save the boy, but is unable to, while the voices of fallen comrades echo from the distance. That's not indoctrination, that's a war veteran going through what every war veteran goes through.
20 years after the reaper war (happy ending trilolgy)..... spacer kid shepard recieves a notice from the alliance military that his mom just passed away, shepard suddenly realizing that he never really spent time before or after the reaper wars suddenly falls into a deep depresion
Vanderloo is Mass Effect for me. I can't play without the default male Shep....unless maybe there was a way of putting my own face on him....LOL. When I see this video I feel like I'm seeing an old friend struggling to deal with a personal problem I never imagined he could have. I guess we all have our good days and bad days. Stick around. When this ride ends, if you are on the right path, the next ride will be beyond all imagination. If not, it's off to the lake of fire. Not sad for them, because that's where they choose to go. But for some reason it makes me sad.
There is a mass effect movie its called mass effect paragon lost you should watch it on RU-vid anyway the movie doesn't even have Shepard in it but its a good movie
Try watching this muted with the song "The Prevailing" by Artisan Loyalist (the artist is a member or friend of Faunts, I believe) Start both the video and music from 0:00. IMO it fits perfectly with Mass Effect and the uploaders' description. =)
I want to hug him like a dad would, and then take him fishing, or both. Lots of problems of the mind get solved when fishing. Come on son, let's go. Mass Effect will never leave our heads. We gotta just live with it and do a play through at least once a year.
I like to imagine this could be a trip he did between me1 and me2, maybe a trip that would make spacer or colonist Shep love his homeworld it would be more coherent with the need of taking Earth back.
Spoiler Alert: That letter he got was from EA, informing him how they were gonna end ME3. This ending always makes me sad. Not because it was actually sad but because it could have been so much better (not happier, better!).
I just Googled him whilst playing ME:LE, just to see what Sheploo is up to these days. He looks MUCH older (because he is). This means that you also look much older. You're welcome :)
My Shepard years after the war remembering his waifus that he lost... First Waifu...Ashley Williams on Virmire Second Waifu was Miranda....She died on Horizon while trying to save her sister. I tear up for the poor man when I think about it.....
Yeah. I don't mind that the ending was sad at all. I think a sad ending fits the story better. However the way they ended it was just stupid, especially the way Shepard acted in the end. He was completely out of character, just accepting everything. The story deserved a much better written ending.
Never thought I'd find a vid of the real Shepard. I'd like to see Ben Browder play Shepard in a live-action Mass Effect (even though I don't really think there should be a live-action movie).
LMAO, thanks. Don't remember mine's face code unfortunatly. All I can say is Chrichton-Shep was an Earthborn/War Hero (think paragon with the really funny renegade moments from the games).
Hope so! The other alternative would be that Mark Meer receives military training in order to play Commander Shepard. But yeah.. if Mr Vanderloo expresses the wish to play Shepard, I also hppe they put him in. As well as Mr Keener als Garrus, Keith David as Anderson, Seth Green as Joker, as well as Tricia Helfer as EDI. I want them all in. And of course Mr Martin Sheen as the Illusive Man. Anyone else doesn't qualify
Shepard model was based on him!! Not the biggest surprise that both look the same!! Can he acting too?? If there is a chance of a Mass Effect movie, he has to be in!!!! No doubt!!!!
Totally agree! ...... But i can't stop thinking of Bruce Greenwood if i think of the "Illusive Man"!?! Tricia Helfer is a good idea, EDI (Eva Core) has to be close to perfection!! And i'm very interested in the CGI Mordin Solus!?!?
They won't make the story of Shepard, every shepard are too different and have their own destiny. I think that if they make a movie in mass Effect Universe it will be someone else, maybe conencted to those we already or litteraly those we know, in the future or the past. Thane Krios, Jack or a young Anderson would be perfect for a principal character.
