I like the concept of Johnathan developing powers, but not manifesting them all at once. Sometimes he gets superstrength when he wants heat vision, sometimes he gets superspeed when he wants invulnerability, and he has to figure out how to use the power in the given situation without harming those around him. Give him time, let him grow as a hero, and eventually let him demonstrate two powers at once, then three, and eventually all of them. DO NOT time travel him into the future and bring him back as a gay Superman with no back story to support the choice - people will assume that his lover is actually mind-controlling Johnathan ... and they'll probably be right.

The lesson I got from this : Don't trust Damian when you both are sitting on a water tower as he will push you off it and give you trust issues after.

Watching this I realised that starro was the very first DC villain i came across. I still remember being a little kid reading that comic.

What’s sad is in the actual comics from what I remember Jonathan found out his laser vision when he accidentally vaporized his cat 😢

DC makes great stories for their animated content. I don't know what it is that does not let them find that same "sweet spot" for their cinematic universe.

Fun fact: During the JLA/Avengers crossover the Avengers fought this starfish. Half the Avengers was infected and the other half was fighting, Thor, Vision, and Iron Man were attacking the Big Host, Vision used his phasing to keep the parasites off of him, but Thor got infected, while on the ground all the Avengers were fighting, Quick Silver was also infected and began fighting all of the Avengers, Ms Marvel gets the parasite off of Quicksilver, and Quicksilver states how while the starfish was on his head, it was so peaceful, he could feel the waves of order, and he couldn't resist it, it was impossible to resist the starfish. Vision notes how if it felt like order, maybe a bit of chaos is what they need. Vision puts a Starfish onto Wanda's face, and while it slowly takes over her mind she shoots chaos magic directly into the host through the starfish on her face, soon the host goes in pain and the host shoots up into space. While the other smaller Starfish on the remaining Avengers' faces, all fell off.

And here I was expecting a line from Invincible when Jonathan finds out his dad is Superman. "Think, Mark! You'll outlast every fragile, insignificant being on this planet!" HAHAHHAH!

He'd have to disengage that particular protocol to keep the ring from flying away from him. So, how the hell did he do it? And DO NOT tell me it's because he's Batman. Capturing a Ring is not something that can be easily done, and neither is containing said Ring afterwards.

At 6:44, the starfish crawls BACK INTO HER MOUTH, which may be a problem. And she falls in the lake, but that's no guarantee of survival. She could be unconscious, disoriented, killed by the impact, etc. And did they even know she was falling into a lake when she fell off?

He's pretty bummed out, especially when Lois asks if Jon had seen Goldie. Super sons is great...it's weird how it came out after they killed the dcamu, we pretty much know how Bendis fked up the Super family...

Divine and mysterious power has given the animals the power of speech. And they use that power against each other by arguing, bickering, insulting, scolding, and criticizing each other. I kind of felt sorry for them all in that story.
