T pain actually won the first season of the masked singer. It was mentioned that, he did it in part to showcase what his voice sounds like without auto tune. If you want a genuine look at his talent, I would check out his performances there.

I can't believe that he never heard this!! 😮 That's amazing. I love watching T-Pain's Twitch streams. He's such a cool dude, and he's funny as hell, too. And yes, T-Pain auto-tunes correctly. I'm not a fan of most of the artists who use it, though. I love that T-Pain actually has an amazing voice under it. Loved this video guys!

TPain is truly one of the most versatile artists and everything he puts out is so good! As multiple comments have said, definitely check out his latest live concert with all of his covers. But I think the track Eric is thinking of is the Mashup he did with Kurt Hugo Schneider that is fantastic!

Fun fact there’s a show called the masked singer. People perform in costumes and you get clues to tell you who they are. They get revealed when they get eliminated. Great show to test your knowledge of artists and random celebrities. T-pain was actually on the show and won. Wish yall could react to that and make your guesses. Think it’d be an awesome series of videos for yall to make!

I think what made t-pain so different from other auto tune artists is that he can actually sing. His voice isn’t even that far from the auto tune. Love his music. I also feel like he doesn’t get enough credit.

People rag on T-Pain because of the autotune all the time. But he never used the autotune as a pitch correction tool. He used it artistically. He has an amazing voice and he has shown it many times. His On Top of the Covers album is phenomenal. An amazing cover of War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Ozzy himself said it was the best he had ever heard.

I definitely lean more towards the metal side of things, R&B / Rap / Hiphop etc just doesn't really get me, so I wasn't really expecting to like this, but it was actually good! Nice pick haha. My only previous experience with T-Pain is with The Lonely Island, I hadn't heard of him before that and never listened to anything else with him in it since so it was interesting 😁
