I personally know people that have entire incomes off of religion and they have close family members in the worship group sleeping with other married worship team people. They both had kids and were married.. happens all the time. Religious teachings and “seeking God” isn’t a foolproof system. But I believed it and was in it for many many years. You’ll end up conditioning yourself to feel that him getting whatever he wants is normal, because he still comes home to you at night. Problem is, he has another woman’s lipstick and scent on his neck. You don’t want to end up in a marriage like that, if you’re unwilling to consent to that behavior. Being alone is not flashy at all (I’m a 40 year old male, childless and never married). It wasn’t what I envisioned for myself the last 15 years, but it’s what happened. I’m blessed and happy. Everyday is not rosy, but things could be so much worse. Keep your head up and get out of this toxic marriage, but only if you’re confident enough to explore the unknown (being single). It’s not easy, but it isn’t hard either. Just have to change your perspective.

Do they use their interests and hobbies to meet someone? I met my husband gaming online. Perhaps they need to try other avenues. Many sad and lonely women out there.

Please realize the callers on this program are people with problems…. There are millions of happily married people you aren’t hearing from because we’re not calling in! My husband and I will be celebrating our 50th anniversary this year and are so blessed to be in a loving relationship where we are committed to each other and divorce is never an option. We have gone through highs and lows raising kids and dealing with life, but it’s the absolute best life! Yep, we’ve grown old together, and our love is stronger and deeper than we ever dreamed it could be, and he makes me laugh every day. Marriage is a blessing when lived out the way God instructs us in his Word. Love one another, put one another first, forgive, choose to honor one another…. It’s so worth it!
