Parallels I noticed: -Matt at 9:08 said: “It sucks to be the bad guy, I’m not gonna lie to you … If I gotta be the bad guy to do this kind of stuff, I’ll be the bad guy.” Really reminded me of what Nelson said in the newspaper article, BioTech Darling Shines in Conference: “Sometimes you have to make the tough decision, be the ‘bad guy’, in order to get stuff done, but it’s all worth it in the end.” -At 9:17 Woods says “Hello!” to the body outline, and at the end the voice says “Hello Woods”. Maybe the voice was just answering back? -The conversation between Matt and Mike at the end: Mike: “I’m done, I’m done here.” Matt: “What do you mean, ‘you’re done’?” Mike: “I’m done.” Matt: “Really?” reminded me a lot of the last conversation between Matt and Deb- Matt: “Deb we’re done.” Deb: “Done? What do you mean ‘done’?” Matt: “I mean done with all of this.” Interesting, isn’t it?

“Hello Woods” = Instant chills down my spine. Anyone one else feel that too?

Last time "The Tell-Tale Heart" was mentioned, one of Poe's scariest stories. This time it was "Rats in the Walls", one of Lovecraft's scariest stories. Not gonna say that's on purpose, but it was certainly interesting.

Even though this is played out like a show, I definitely feel bad for Mike. Also that part when Sam accidently hit the light off definite spooked me for a bit.

I think what bothered me about the whole Matt and Mike thing was that after Mike left, Matt said to the others, “you don’t have to be here.” The others all agreed that they knew that and that they choose to. Well Mike was choosing to not “be here”… but was forced into it. If it really was as important as what Matt played it out to be, Matt could have asked Mike to show him how to run the programs to clean up the audio. That way Mike didn’t have to listen to it and be forced to do what he was very clear in saying made him uncomfortable. I’m with Mike on this…

Mike saying "I'm done" followed by Matts "What do you mean done" made me think of the confrontation between Deb and Matt at the end of Season 2. Maybe Matt and Ben aren't the same, but maybe Matt and Dab. At the end of the day, your guy's safety is what matters most. Stay safe team. :)

As someone that's dealt with Toxic employers that used the "I pay you, you have to do as I say" argument, I totally get where Michael is coming from. Just cause you sign the paycheck, that doesn't mean you can strong arm someone to do something they're not comfortable with. Hopefully he didn't actually quit and will come back

Theory: As seen in the art on reddit about Wes walking through the walls there was that weird light. Doesn't it look like the weird light that was seen at Wes' grave?

This reminds me of how this all started, when Woods found the Schlage case that had directions in it to the box of keys.

Theory: The recording is the ghosts route through the studio, making left and right turns. When it said 'Hello Woods', it could mean that that is where it entered woods working space (maybe the warehouse?). In addition, they skipped to the end, so the in the middle, I could travel through the others offices/workspaces.

If Mike actually left which I don’t think he actualy did I’m going to be really sad but in the story if he isn’t re introduced into the story it will be sad to see him go out of the story

I would see why Mike would quit. Like one of his co-workers was called by name which made him nervous for Woods safety. The way he said are you telling me to do it and Matt was like yeah you could tell that the tension started there.

Mike has a point that this could be evil. Spirts can follow you home if you are not careful. For everyone family sake you should be careful and make sure that you protect yourself. Also the Spirit could be playing with you so try to be respectful even though it may get frustrating. Spirts have been known to become violent at times. Since it said "Hello Woods", I would try to have Woods record the next audio you do with the device if you use it again since it may be more willing to talk to him, though Woods should be careful. I don't want to scare you guys but if it is something evil it may try to hurt him for some unknown reason. Even though you may not be seeing these I would strongly encourage a physic since they might be able to help you out with figuring out why it said Woods name. They can feel, see, and hear things directly from the spirit in question. Be safe when dealing with it. The dead have more power then the living and this could become dangerous quickly.

When Matt said “I can be the bad guy” that kind of ticked me off. I Think there IS still serum in him and he is starting to act more and more like Nelson. I understand everyone has been is dealing with this for awhile now and want it over, however it seems like Matt is starting to only care about solving this and not about the mental health of others. I think there could have been a way to get the sound from the walls without pulling ‘The Boss’ card.

I swear if we actually lose Mike imma be so mad.

I don't blame Mike for dipping out. He was like no I'm not comfortable doing that, and Matt basically pulled the boss card like hey I need you to do it anyway. As an employer you still have to respect an employee's concerns with stuff like that. All that just to say, I wasn't super surprised it played out that way. I think that's my adulthood showing 😂

Been looking at all the the theories and stuff in the comments. Some of them said that maybe the outline in the office that Woods said “Hello” to and the “Hello Woods” in the voice recording is just a reply. Another theory I saw was that there was a tone of maliciousness when the voice said “Hello Woods.” Possibly to cause harm to him or use him in some way. That either being, if it truly is a dangerous entity, feed off of Woods by his energy. One thing I thought up was that, if now because Woods first made a device where they could hear the voice/static/murmur in the walls, maybe the voices are somewhat attached to Woods now..? the boss card, danggg I love that, really feels natural in the story unlike the weird period of non vloggy to vlog again (season 2) Felt off, I loved it boom bang bang, but it didn't fit the plot atmosphere well. I give props to the writer!

This isn't the first time Matt has pushed his authority as a boss on everyone. He did it when they went to the Phantoms Trailer. He did it when they got the antidote, he did it when they split up and Samatha and Woods ended up stuck in location 3, and again when they tried to add a tracker to the phantoms car. He gets focused on what he wants and is willing to do anything to reach an outcome and sometimes it's at the cost of others boundaries. I hope Mike is okay and they work things out.

I still think there's some kind of component of the Scoobies communicating w themselves from another time or dimension to warn them now (incorporating the files on each of them pre-storyline).

The "Hello Woods" at the end sounded extremely sinister. Spirits - malevolent or not- typically have lingering attachments. If this is an evil spirit, based upon the tone, I'm wondering what it has planned for Woods. Possession? Mind tampering, aka feeding off emotions and giving suggestions? It could be feeding off any negative emotions making it stronger as, to my knowledge, it would help it create a cycle that produces more negativity and give it more energy. It seems like things are not only getting tenser in general with the situation but between the subjects as well. If it has negative intentions towards the group, things are going to ramp up fast. Bailey raises a good point about potentially not being able to trust John doe. He has connections to not only Deb but a Syntec facility (the jail). If it was as simple as he just brought him there, they would have had to fill out the same paperwork. John Doe's actions feel more like he is guiding the team instead of assisting, similar to Deb. Giving them just enough to keep them going but not enough to paint a clear picture. He knows more than he is letting on and be that out of lack of trust or out of as much as you need to know the situation I'm not sure. He also looks extremely young considering how long he has been allegedly working on the case is also not adding up. His appearance, from what we have seen, I would put in his early to mid-20s. While that would work in theory for how long he could have been in the police, for access to classified information, and being able to remove evidence I feel like he would need to be higher up in the chain of command granted I am not familiar with the internal workings of the police. Is it possible that what they injected Matt with was to delay the effects of the serum taking hold or suppressing it? Hear me out. Ever since the absolate came into Matt's hands there were comments about it having an effect to neutralize the serum or keeping it at bay. He says he feels fine after getting injected, which would mean it would be beating the serum however from a previous episode we know the serum can move from the antidote area. If the organization that inspected Matt after the radiation bomb works for Syntec, what would the point be of "healing" Matt? 863 goes against all that they are working towards and the whole idea of what the bomb became was to spread the Serum out over a large area. There is no point in curing Matt from their perspective, so what would you do in that case? Experiment. If the effects could be put to sleep essentially, only for them to wake up more aggressive (I believe it can happen with some viruses), wouldn't that make sense to destroy 863 from the inside again? If that was the case it would correlate to Wes, Nelson, and Deb breaking apart as the original trio. There are a few things the team needs to find out: Why did the company break apart? Why are the voices targeting Woods? What happened to the previous forms of Project 863 (Deb said this group is different in like season 1)? We know they failed but how did they fail? Most importantly, will Mike and Woods be okay? They need another meeting with Ben. The only person who can rationally tell them about the voices and he did make a point of noting the paperwork from Syntec that Matt or Sam may never have noticed otherwise. A few of these questions are connected, but these need answers. Also, recommend smudging/saging the area that said "Hello Woods" to get rid of the negative energy. edit: I had to correct words and spellings

Ok so what if there’s some connection to woods and the man whose name is on the file? If the voices ans drawings are connected somehow then I assume that can connect the arrows and the voices. The last direct turn before the closet is a right. The voice could be saying “hello woods” as a hint to what happened and why all of you are specifically chosen for this.

I mean, I kind of blame Sam for how that situation went with Mike. She's the one that pushed Mike with the whole "You're kind of his boss" talk. So many better ways to handle the awkwardness. The light switch definitely didn't help either.

The editing in this video! Oh my goodness, my love for this series and all the aspects of everything that goes into it grows with every single episode.

I think that the voice is gonna end up trying to pick off all of the team members, or testing matt to see how far he is willing to go. Also, I'm sure I can't be the only one to have noticed this, but matt has definitely been changed by the serum. He's become more aggressive and unfeeling, which is the reason that mike left. Mike left because matt forced him into something uncomfortable, something dangerous, something he made very clear he didn't want to do. Matt might be gone, and the team will likely realize this as the season plays out, matt will become more and more desperate for a way to stop something that has no end, and the team will realize that matt is gone. he will be left in the desert of his mind, with only a mirage left to keep him alive. Now the question is, will the team make the right decision, or will the blindly follow. Edit: Just saw the latest episode, and this is holding up, just some things to add. Firstly, Matt in previous videos on his channel has said that he doesn’t try to keep people from quitting, which contrasts what’s going on now, Matt makes a little effort to try to keep mike and now woods from quitting. Secondly, he seems to be convincing himself that he has no choice, but he does have a choice. He could move the company to another place or disband it completely, which he likely won’t realize until everyone has quit. Finally, I think that Bailey will end up confronting Matt about it, since she seems to be the one that Matt, and we, know least about. I think that S.P.I.R.E. will be the nail in the coffin, the thing that finally drives the Matt we once knew off the edge. We thought Matt killing D3B was the end of project 863, but in reality, Matt will be the one to end it all, and he won’t know until it’s too late.

Some equipment I would recommend as a Paranormal Investigator myself is: a K2 meter, detects electromagnetic fields to identify devices or spirits that generate high radiation. A spirit box, cycles through radio stations backwards and spirits use high amounts of energy to select or generate words or sentences. REM POD detects changes in the surrounding electromagnetic field; meaning if a spirit is close it will sense how close it is like a touch sensor. Dousing Rods are used to ask simple yes or no questions or to point to a location. Digital voice recorder is used to record questions you ask and give space in between them for the ghost to possibly answer. Thermal vision cameras to see cold spots; meaning ghosts.

(Theory): I see a lot of people saying when woods said hi to the body the ghost was jus replying which kinda makes sense but also like Sam said she kept hearing the same thing over and over again so I don’t think it would of replied to him that quickly. Also I was thinking that since none of the things in the wall can be picked up by the mics it’s a audio device and people are playing through a another device like a walkie-talkie.

I was watching back the season recaps and when Sam and Woods went to location 3, there was writing on the walls that said “help me” which is the same thing that’s on the walls in hi5. Coincidence?

First episode I got chills. The last 10 seconds is what made me check the dark, shadow corners of my room🤣loved it

Theory: when mike was bringing up his equipment and woods went to the room with the body outline woods said “Hello!” And the record said “hello woods” and maybe the directions go to the body outline or somewhere else also maybe it starts at the body outline and leads somewhere else or when woods stayed with mike it then said “hello woods” maybe it can be one person in a room talking back and forth so woods might say “hello what’s your name?” And there won’t be any response but when you go to check the recording something or someone said “hello there I’m ???” 9:17 is when woods said “hello”

Since when did Badal not want to be involved? He was pretty disappointed when he wasn't invited for the overnight wall writing investigation. And he even offered to help out when they confronted Ben. I get that Badal was terrified and a little pressured into doing this, but he was completely out of line... Does he really think that Matt would fire him for not wanting to endanger himself? Matthias, Sam and Woods actually don't have a choice, they've been victims since before they even met!

Matt's fatal flaw is the same as all great heroes in all great myths. Hubris. Matt is too prideful to step back and assess the problem before jumping in. He's too prideful to consider what the concequences might be. In this scenario, he didn't have a choice. But when Mike voiced his concerns, Matt didn't ask him what was wrong. He simply got defensive. He always gets defensive when his pride is at stake. He always has to be right.

No my heart... Poor Mike.. We love you!!! 😥 I think the ghost/spirit was just answering Woods back like a lot of people were saying... Either that or the ghost/spirit wants Woods himself to follow the directions just don't let him do it alone. 0_o
