Anne's stage presence and performance steal this show.. She has no peers in the rock world. Every guitar player in the world would kill to work with her.
While I love Ann's vocals better than anyone else, you didn't grow up in Toronto, Canada in the late 70's-80's. Canada had some very talented women lead singers. One that could sing as well as Ann Wilson was Darby Mills of The Headpins and Holly Woods of the band Toronto. We also had Lee Aaron (Metal Queen) to name a few bands. Such a great music scene back then. Ann is always #1 for me.
There are no female pipes that, at that time, could touch the G.O.A.T...Ann Wilson! NONE. This particular performance of 💓 less proves it. My GOD, those screams just ooze sexuality... and talent beyond belief!! Ann & Nancy rule!
Absolutely! Today you see Taylor Swift standing on stage with a $3000 guitar barely playing 3 chords and people think she's a groundbreaking female talent. Check out Heart, Janis Joplin, Linda Ronstadt or Pat Benatar and get back to me
another classic gem from this amazing band. Unless you had the album or 8 track, you'd be hard-pressed to know this song. It's still great nonetheless, just like this band
I've always been a fan of Heart since I was a kid in the 80's and knew of their classic 70's hits. It wasn't until recently that I started collecting vinyl and rediscovering their albums and lesser known songs that are incredible.
Yeah in the morning light you didn't look so nice guess you better hitch hike home blame it on the booze you will never feel this fine again What a night what a song.

When did I feel Oh when did I feel So fine Ooh, oo Oooooooo ❤
this crowd probably didn't even realize the actual GREATNESS they were witnessing watching HEART down in the pits of these clubs. I think this was the infamous LYSOL club. lol ANN Wilson famously quoted in vh1s behind the music how this little club reeked of LYSOL. and the owner I think tried to fuck them outta some money. ah! the early days of a rock career.😎 RICKY PARKER.
No, that was a club in Calgary called “Lucifer’s “. The story is in their autobiography “Kicking &Dreaming. “ Heart had a five night contractual agreement in 1975 to play that crappy club that apparently had a buffet, and also had a list of square rules that they hated. They were still doing covers, but adding in a couple of cuts from their first album. Ann did get in the mic and referenced her food tasting like Lysol. They were fired , but immediately got the offer to open for Rod Stewart instead. They set the “dressing room” on fire. This appearance is from January 1976, put on by a public tv station KWSU. They probably blew these kids minds. One station manager was interviewed years later and recalled feeling lucky to have had them play there.
he did that for a reason back then because apparently there was some story about people just coming to see and chest so he decided to make her feel a little more and he's onstage there was a story about why he dress like that for this early performances.
Watches beginning of video... wonders who Steve Fossen is... sees dude in shirt with open collar... thinks... hmm ok I guess early style... gets to 1:34 holy crap
Nancy did the 4 Edward.... She inspired me... So maybe in the future y'all can hear a tune called " for Nancy"😎✌️❤️ she is sadly underated...as are most women
"In the morning light you didn't look so nice Guess you'd better hitch hike home...." Why this high-school kid would try and sneak into the Seattle bars when Heart was playing... 1975-76
