I'm surprised everyone managed to fit into their gown. Even people who are all healthy weights are vastly different sizes. Probably why the maid of honor fainted. Either she didn't eat or the dress was so tight she couldn't breathe.

Oh my!!! That bride would faint at a South Indian wedding. Seeing even grandmas dressed to the nines in silk saris and every ladys neck dripping in gold and ears sparkling with diamonds, the bride would have to try a lot harder to outshine all of them. Not to mention all the kids running here and there playing and shouting. A bridezilla like that needs a South Indian wedding to come down to Earth. 😂😂😂

I once attended a wedding where the bride fainted. She hadn't had enough to eat, and her blood sugar tanked. She folded up right in the middle of her vows. Her groom caught her, and they ended up sitting there for about ten minutes while someone got her some juice and my mom (a nurse) checked her out. The pianist played music over all of this, and when she felt better, she got up and they finished the wedding. It was actually really sweet; she and her husband were a lovely couple.

Man if I was the groom in that situation I'd be walking right back down that aisle and telling everyone to just start partying because marriage is off

I am going to say this,....i just wanted my friends there. I asked them to be there, i paid for the dresses and shoes, made sure everything didnt cost too much, but still looked good.

Hear me out, there should be a person who is not a member of the wedding party to do all of the things that fall through the cracks day of the wedding. A friend of mine got married a couple of years ago and I was that person. I woke up early and went to the grocery store. I bought water, teas, and whatever else the bridal party liked to drink, snacks, tylenol, ibuprofen, mints, and snacks - including charcuterie and stocked the brides suite. I offered to grab for the groomsmen as well, but they were at an airbnb that was already well stocked. I ran with a bridesmaid to pick up other items. l would have gone alone, but it was at her house. Whatever the bride or anyone in the bridal party needed, I got done. They were able to just relax and get hair and makeup done. When the florist did not arrive at the agreed upon time and photography time was creeping closer, I whipped together the brides bouquet with her direction on how she wanted it to look. I made one bridesmaid bouquet as an example, and then the other girls stepped in to finish the rest while I made all the boutonniers. I ran the boutonniers to the groom and groomsmen and pinned them on in their staging area. I ran messages back and forth for the groom and bride. It was super busy and at the end of it all I had 15 - 20 minutes to do makeup, hair, and dress. If anyone in the bridal party had to do all of that, the wedding would have been late starting or he/she would have been frazzled and maybe not pulled together. Just do that. Hire someone or ask a friend/family member who can handle things like that. I was MOH at a wedding and that person. It was A LOT.

I got married on a beach in Florida in the middle of July. People were asking what they had to wear, if they had to buy a tuxedo or a long gown, and I just said, "It's July, on the beach, in Florida. Wear shorts for all I care." That's how you show your guests they are valued and cared for.

Imagine the heartbreak of being the maid of honor at your best friend's wedding, passing out, and then being treated like an obstacle.

It amazes me that people put up with ‘friends’ like this

I’ve noticed that in a lot of these bridezilla stories the bride in question always gets extremely perfectionist (if that makes sense) and they always say how it’s THEIR wedding verses it’s their and their husband’s wedding and the wedding is almost always about THEM and I can’t help but notice when it comes to weddings it’s always about the bride…never about the bride and groom and as I look at wedding traditions over time I can’t help but wonder if we as a whole make far to big of a deal about weddings especially when it comes to the bride. It’s the Brides special day, it’s the brides wedding, it’s the brides decision, always always always the bride… forget about the groom the family and friends who came out to support the couple, maybe I’m missing something but I’ve just noticed that… maybe I’m looking to deep into this but that’s my observation

my older brother passed out at my dad's wedding (he was a groomsman). it was during the vows. the groomsmen helped him up and our step mom stopped everything to make sure he was okay before they kept going. i am glad i wasnt in frame because i was crying and i never told him how scared i was.

I was a junior bridesmaid the bride was going to get married to my uncle. She had my little sister as the flower girl me as a junior bridesmaid and her sisters as bridesmaid. She took her sisters(who don’t even live with her) to get makeup and hair done professionally and me and my sister’s makeup and hair was done by my mom.

There are times when the wedding is more important but this is not one of those times, if someone has : died, commited a crime, stole something important, gone missing, needs medical attention or something I can't even think of right now happens -- then you put that wedding on hold.
