HI! If you like Owens then just maybe you will enjoy our new song featuring The Ripper himself. I hope you will check it out, thank you 😊🙏🏻 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5ec0NlsdXVg.html
@@jkbearhunter Not sure why you're freaking out. I compared him to Ole Blue Eyes in just one genre of music - Metal. That's it. Last I checked, Owens isn't getting fitted for a tux to croon away at the Friar's Club. ...Smoke a doob and chill. Doo be doo be doo.
TIM OWENS!!!!!!!!!! Raw singing talent at its best.. I thank Priest for giving the man a chance, because of his time with Priest he may have never been discovered. Now everyone can see what hes capable of in his own rights
I still love Demolition to this day. that guy put his heart and soul into this performance. great front man and awesome blend of old and new metal generations

all the hairs on my neck are standing at attention and all the nerves all the way down to my toes are tingling, I can't make it go loud enough - god I love this version - Ripper you are the man and this arrangement is killer.
Big props and respect to Ripper,Aldrich and the bassist and drummer, that's one helluva way to show respect to one of the greatest metal singers , Mr. Ronnie James Dio, hats off to you fellas, a proper show. Done right.
And let's not forget Brian Tichy slamming away at that drum kit. A sadly far too underrated drummer. Give the man his due: he slayed the Heaven & HELL right out of this song. A brute force monster on the drum kit.
@@darrenburns16 Probably. He has played with Sass Jordan, Richie Kotzen, Pride N Glory, Black Label Society, Whitesnake, Billy Idol, Foriegner, W.A.S.P. and the Dead Daisies that I know of, and plays guitar in S.U.N. with Sass Jordan on vocals.
@@robertsalvini1 He is not a "household name" player... Those in the know, know what a bad ass he is, those that don't, they have no clue... Ask 10 random people to name their top 5 or top10 and maybe 1 will mention Doug... Textbook definition of "underrated".
You got to love this guy!He has done what others only dream.I've always stood up for him.He should be admired for his talent and dedication. He is definitely on the Metal God Radar !He is definitely next in line!
Tim Ripper Owens and Doug Aldridge are true Rockers!! I had the privilege to have met Doug when he was with Dio at Harpo's in Detroit!! So Very down to earth and very polite!!! Just a Great Guy!!!
Absolutely amazing. the years with preist. iced earth. beyond fear. his own album. the covers of songs such as aces high, flight of icarus, mr crowley, Abigail... i'm sure theres plenty more as well. everything he's ever done has been done with exceptional talent. long may it carry on
So much to love here, but what stands out to me, as a drummer, is Brian's absolute KILLER pocket work, it's like a swiss watch, a german train, it's perfect...
I don't get why people hate Tim Owens so much. I have seen him do "Painkiller", "Flight of icarus" and "Heaven and Hell. That's beyond impressive. I didn't like him at first but then i heard his live version of painkiller which blew any live version of the song halford did out of the fucking water. And he can do Ronnie James Dio songs better than anyone except of course Dio.
Tim can sing every style, from Judas Priest to Black Sabbath, from King Diamond to Annihilator and Sepultura, youtube it's full of videos. Too bad he's so underrated by the market.
When you put Tichy,Aldrich and the Ripper Owens together your talkin madness and mayhem, rock and roll is all about that. The ripper rules Ohio for sure and I'm proud to be from the buckeye state, home of it.
Tim Owens has incredible power, his voice has so much natural volume, he's the Pavarotti of metal. Amazing and impressive talent. Rob Halford had to push his very limits to get out the high note screams, Owens does it effortlessly while picking his nose.
Tim, I want to thank you for the times I had at the Rockhouse/Tavern in Kenmore... Saw some of the best shows there ever, including the Dio Disciples... It's sucks, and I will miss it...great food, great wings, & great music.
A lot of people didn't like what he did with Judas Priest but I think he took Priest to another level that they never tried vocal range was incredible with this man and he proved it.
@@lifesgood7235 Aldrich overrated?! idk wtf you're listening too but ask the average person and nobody's ever heard of him cept if they're a rock guitarist themselves. The man has excellent tone and playing ability. He's not a shredder as in alternate picking but he sounds effing good despite.
Hey THANK YOU for uploading this. I know I'm just finding it 7.5 years later here, but I appreciated this morning cup of Dio coffee as delivered by the titled musicians!
This is prove that Owens can replace anyone. He did even replace Dio. That's amazing. He should be among the great metal singers. Why the hell he's the eternal replacement guy?
Because as good as his voice is, he is missing that one undefinable quality that makes Halford and Dio legends. Its not something you can teach, you are either born with it or your not.
Love Tim. Met him once cool guy GREAT singer. But the difference is he’s never written a song as big as the ones he covers. No disrespect I like his beyond fear stuff, but the younger generation is mostly out of that style.
This lineup is awesome i first s saw priest in 81 with maiden and megadeth in 85 and i love the glorious burdon especially the Gettysburg trilogy by iced earth long live real metal the world is full of kings and queens that blind your eyes and steal your dreams
Ripper Owens is truly one of the ALL time greatest talents in Metal. I was not a big fan until I was able to see him with Priest in the late 90's and I went to Priest during the early 80's Screaming tour and just went to Priest with Halford. Owens Blows him away!! not even close Owens is so much better and I love Halford.
