14:57 Just in case anyone didn't catch this scene, that smoke coming out is Carbon Monoxide that kill's you quietly. He was trying to suicide here, hence all the suite & jacket on cuz he was going to dye in a proper suit on. But the last minute he changed his mind to give it another try and rejoins the game for the price.

He was tryna commit suicide in that bathtub there were burning coals on the little floor stove. He was tryna give himself carbon monoxide poisoning which I think is a pretty common method of suicide in Korea

@@MrFreakinHair One of my uncle died in an accident that way when he was in high school. Old school Korean households used charcoal for heat and he died in his sleep. I don't know the details of why it happened though.

I’m Japanese and for here there’s ones that are specifically made for snacking but the actual packet ramen aren’t meant to be eaten that way and I haven’t met a person who does, i think it’s more of a Western thing because I’ve seen Americans do it and my mom is like wtf lol but I don’t know about Korea !

I used to eat uncooked ramen when I was younger! I was really surprised when I found out Koreans like to eat broken up pieces of uncooked ramen with the seasoning on it as a snack, washing it down with their favorite soju. A bar snack, essentially. Really good!

@@Kriae A brick of uncooked dry ramen and a brick of cooked ramen have 3 things in common. Same amount of nutrients (like calories and carbs). Same cost (both are dirt cheap). Same quantity of noodles per brick. The only difference between them is one is more hydrated with water than the other. Other than that, they are the same thing, which is a brick of noodles.

For the dub watchers if your watching an animated movies or tv series you can watch on dub or sub, but I recommend to watch sub on foreign live action movies or tv series because the dubbed voices is out of place from the mouth movements and you can feel the emotion from the actors on sub because is actually them talking. (my opinion)👍

I'm from Norway, and even we used to eat uncooked noodles this way as kids back in school. It wasn't as good of course, but we didn't have access to boiling water so we ate it like a snack instead :)

When I first watched this, I was thinking what if the vote is part of the game itself and voting to leave would be considered "refusing to play" and if the majority had chosen to stay anybody who had chosen to end the games would have been "eliminated" so I wonder if some of those people who chose to keep playing were thinking the same thing and chose to play thinking they were stuck in there either way..

what makes this, imo, less about greed and more about necessity is that every player in the game is in MASSIVE debt one way or another to one or multiple people/agencies. if they choose to leave, they would still be in debt. if they risk their life, there's an incredibly small chance they pay it off and still have enough money to start a new life anywhere in the world.

Yeah. You guys gotta do the subs... Because in the first episode... The red light green light part... There was no tension in the dubb... Because it only says green light red light... In the sub is actually a song.. and you can tell when the red light is coming because of the song tempo.
