That ess supercharger kit honestly puts in some work against your twin turbo kit! Usually turbo set ups destroy supercharger set ups even with the same horsepower levels being on both cars! Good shit!!! Good runs!!! Be safe out there
Why would it destroy a supercharged setup being at the same power level? Centris stay st high rpm on a roll race where all their power is made. The tvs blowers are stupid efficient as well and have a badass power curve. They can hold their own too with the right setup. Turbo will make more power assuming similar sizing at the same boost level all things equal but if both cars are at the same power level no reason the runs shouldn't be competitive.
I must say those ESS kits are the best thing since sliced bread. I’ve never seen Centri blowers put that kind of performance especially for the money. Makes me want a coyote again
ESS kit holding it's own, full tilt with your car (Chris') at 10lbs... then the Helion Kit was like, "no gap, the F is this? 315s, y'all better get right cause we doing *REAL HOOD* stuff now!!"
Nice man good video. I'm pretty sure I've talked to him before and he knows my car. I have the 1000whp G3 ESS on the 100mm at 17psi here in AZ. I've been with ESS longer than most so I know how well they run and what they can do. If you know anybody who's interested in one send them my way. I work directly with ESS, not for them but with. Not to mention F150s and S197s will be available to run these kits starting the beginning of next year.
@@kevinmcquitery4543 With everything it cost around 6K. But I added extra things like brakes and rotors, better tires, long tubes, high flow cats, and xpipe. As well as barton sts. I'm in it around 15K.
just found your channel and subscribed. I saw that you had an 5th gen zl1, right now i have a 2013 zl1 with just an CAI, by any chance would you recommend me some performance mods for me to get around 600-700 whp?
It's not exactly an equal comparison it's running more boost. Even at the same boost the turbo has the advantage just because of the way turbos are and don't take power to make it. The ess did pretty damn good all things considered.
@@Coyote9smilespergallonrong. Ess rates pulleys at 7200 rpms. If he’s on the 100 mm pulley and the website says 15 psi for example. But he’s shifting at 8000 he’s probably making 16.5/17 psi Everyone knows the ess pulley chart is off
Help? What is the technical “color name” of the red mustang? I have the same color and think it’s Ruby Red? I have to replace my front passenger side panel and can choose the color - there are MANY DIFFERENT REDS 🤷🏻♂️ -- if you get a second I’d 100% appreciate your response / I’m learning to do things myself. Got screwed too many times ✅💡
