HELLUVA BOSS - SEEING STARS // S2: Episode 2  

Loona definitely had a rough childhood. The wall by her bed has loads of tally marks drawn on it and a ripped "Hang in There" poster. She's had little to no hope or positivity for much of her life and Blitz probably saw that she needed a parent's love way more than the other kids. I love how even though she tries not to show it, she does acknowledge Blitz as her dad and does care for him. The sisterly moment between her and Octavia was so wholesome. Nikki is right about Brennan Ragers being a spoof on Brendan Rogers. Octavia actually lands on Ragers when she portals in, probably killing him, which is why the producers were looking for him. And Chad is right about the child actor looking like Darla Dimple. Cats Don't Dance is an underrated film. Also there was a poster about the water in LA being part acid and sewage. So much to unpack in this one lol.

At 8:19 If you look in the background you can see papers on the wall behind Blitzo explaining how L.A’s water is essentially acidic and I think Stolas was only able to drink it because he’s a demon lord. I feel like the water burning the guys skin has confused a lot of people and they should have made the L.A. water warning more obvious

The joke about the water is made clear on a poster on the wall in the alley where they are where it says the water is 98% literall acid. Also yeah the joke about Blitz being mistaken for Brennon Ragers is supposed to be a parody of Brandon Rogers Blitz's voice actor. Also I have to say huge props to Chad he is the first person I have seen that mentions that the little girl on the sitcom looks like the girl from Cats don't dance, I thought so too and its been driving me nuts that no one has seemed to mention it xD

Someone had a dark idea that Aging Out at the place Loona was at meant they euthanized Hellhounds when they got too old because it looked like a kill shelter

Hat Guy's straight man's point of view: The relationship between Blitzo and Stolas won't go forward anymore. Our point of view: Notice Blitzo blushing when seeing Stolas' human form, Stolas tries not to get smitten by Blitzo. They both bond because of their love to their daughters. Man, just wait and see, you'll eat your words so hard XD.

"Why does he hate her more than he loves me?" - hearthbreacking deep line.. Good Loona took care of Via (technically it is Loonas fault too because she never gives a shit) but than being like the big sister for Via is super cute.. I guess this is also a buildup for something really big.. and the moral of the story is: Talk to you kids! Never let them alone with there problems, desires and emotions. No matter the age.

Azathoth's tears.. Stolas is talking about: Geez do you know what that is? Azathoth is one of the, not if THE most powerful Outer God and supreme omnipotent being. In the H.P Lovecraft universe. Just imagine these super creepy weird monsters and gods in the Helluva Boss series.. like they were pushed away so Hell and Heaven could exist in the first place.

when stolas threw the water bottle -- theres a scene earlier where it says LAs water is toxic. thats why it burned the guy. i missed it the first time too.

I'm pretty sure the water burning the guys skin is a joke about the pH level of LA's water and how it's technically safe to drink or something like that, I could be wrong though

I have a copy of "Cat's Don't Dance" on one of my HDs at this very moment and pop it up about once a year to watch it as I work on something so thanks for reminding me you two.

Regarding Stolas' remark to Blitzo "Oh, your memory's so great! What's HIS (referring to Moxxie) phone number?" and Blitzo responds F*** You. I honestly think Blitzo did in fact tell Stolas Moxxie's phone number. Hear me out, i think that Blitzo memorizes phone numbers based on the words that the digits make up. So in Moxxie's case it's 3825968. or "F*** You" in Blitzo terminology i also realized that the little girl in the sitcom of that episode's voice and design is strikingly like Darla Dimple from Cats Don't Dance; which herself was based thematically off of Sherley Temple. She also shares some design similarities with a batman rogues gallery villain named "Baby Doll". It's easy to miss but the posters on the wall when they arrive in LA tell that the water there is mostly a combination of Sewage and Acid. That's why the director started to smoke and his flesh became badly burned.

The joke is that LA water is so chemical ridden that it's basically just acid. It was on a wall poster earlier but it's easy to miss

I saw a comment on another channel that said the white parts on blitz are all scared parts on his body which if true shows he went through hell growing up in some way, plus I don’t think there’s an issue with stolus an blitz, I mean everyone fights and says things doesn’t mean their relationships end if anything this episode shows mid way through the love between them is still there and strong while still focusing on the main part of getting via back. I mean blitz didn’t have to help find her but he chose to help find his daughter why? Well because he still does love stolus despite not being able to show it. As for Luna it’s more like an ophanage where when they hit 18 their on their own basically, but that’s just what I saw

I am so happy you reacted to this episode it was so cute and sweet except for the part were Blitz killed people then Stolas throwing the water that burned that guy😂😂😂😂😂😂. I love all the characters❤❤❤❤.

The studio audience and laugh track thing started with I Love Lucy which was done for the studio all this but it was all done live and Lucille Ball felt the studio audience allowed for the connection she needed for her performance and it really added to that show but it was done live in one straight through performance (like a play) modern-day studio audience sit there ever take after take after take a recording redubbing everything basically there's paid to go in there and laugh which was a lot of time laugh tracks were used

lol its wild how many people miss when Blitzø blushes about Stolas or all the details that show Blitzø cares (the photo in his phone being one) and once they kinda decide he doesn't like Stolas it takes a looooot for them to come around again. Its interesting, since other people will hold out hope and notice small things but others just kinda say "no hes a jerk and always will be" even when he was legit PURCHASED for Stolas as a plaything as their first introduction.....kinda set the tone fore them. Not to mention in the season 1 finale Stolas tries to get Blitzø to come inside but it sounds like a sex invite. Blitzø says he cant fk him, and even apologizes for it. Then when Stolas presses him Blitzø thinks its just Stolas trying to get him to come in anyways for sex, so Blitzø is very honest (the first of the two to BE honest out loud) Blitzø says basically: "you just want me for sex, you tell me that all the time, so don't try to trick me that its MORE than that!" and Stolas, silly guy, does not correct Blitzø. He lets Blitzø think that its JUST physical and only says "ok goodnight" to Blitzø instead of saying anything to dispel that misconception. Stolas has not told Blitzø he likes him at all, and in fact has avoided trying to say its not just about physical stuff. Its really interesting that the audience knows Stolas likes Blitzø so some of them just lose all patience for Blitzø's perspective and assume he MUST know Stolas loves him. Its just not true, Blitz has no reason to think Stolas loves him back currently.
