I swear I'm playing a completly different game than most people, my Henry is a complete and utter psychopath, as in the literal definition. Hes always a goody toe shoe in the cutscenes but when hes not, hes posing food, killing guards to sell their gear, treating anyone else he finds in the woods as archery practice and frequently raids a few select towns for fun bludgeoning people with a mace while making a quick buck. But hes absolutely loved in Rattay!

If I remember correctly the obnoxius bird noise is part of a quest to identify and trap them

There are few moments in gaming that make me pause, put the control down and celebrate a feat.. unlike that first arrow that hits a dude square between the eyes at anything beyond 5ft 😂

I can't wait to buy this game for this one reason; I want to make a Robin Hood character too and become a legendary medieval archer. Or Halt from John Flanagan's novel series The Ranger's Apprentice.

The best bow in the game was never the Yew or even the DLC Sinew bow. It is actually the Elm or equivalent Cuman composite bows. They fire 1.5 seconds faster from full draw than the Yew bow and oes only 20 points less damage with better piercing arrows, if a target is unarmored. However, it is recommended to use better long distance arrows for maximum range. A good archer will one shot nearly ANYONE at moderate range.

Rather ironically I've found archery to be incredibly easy, and rather fun in kcd. Not having a crosshair nor a defined way to aim adds an appreciable challenge that's so rewarding...

Robin Hood's story was similar to Henry. He was a nobleman's son but after Prince John wrested power away from King Richard who was fighting in the Crusades, Robin Hood lost his noble status though the story also goes with Robin Hood killing a noble for mistreating him a way. Robin Hood also have similar tones with Moses of Egypt.

I loved playing a bow primary character, but I also adored a full knight build. It's a cracking game.

If it were my gameplay, that wayfarer at minute 6:45 would've become the perfect example of being at the wrong place at the wrong time! 😅

My Hal is endearingly called (by me) Throbbing Wood of Skalitz. It suits him.

Just playing the game 2nd time with similiar style... Although archery is bit struggle in hc so i use short swords and maces too, but i avoid heavy armor and you can still enjoy perk for that if you wear just mail and brigandines - funny is that best chainmaill coif have better defence than most of cheap helmets :D

My robin hood = not wearing heavy ammor, just only leather suit, keep the Visibility + Conspic and Noise very low when use arrow or stealth bow kill, wearing high Charisma when not fighting or when talking with noble.

Dave could u do a metro inspired build like a Bomb shelter in case of any remaining brotherhood soldiers are able to contact the capital and launch an attack

2 years later I get this in my recommended feed. I've always wanted to do a Robin Hood theme playthrough. I'm almost done with my current run. I might start over and give this a try. My archery isn't bad, but isn't great either. But I can manage. I think I'll go a more traditional route and not use armor. Easier for me to run away if I need to :) I did have another style of gameplay i wanted to try. I wonder if anyone has. A-Hole/Bully Henry Where every speech test, he uses strength perk when need be. Try to get the rep down in every town down to 0. Be interesting to see if you can get your rep back up after there's only so much you can do to gain your rep back too..lol

Playing as a pacifist Henry is the hardest. 1. You have to avoid killing anyone. That includes animals and people. It doesn't matter how rotten the person is you can't kill them. You can knock them out or injure them to the point of surrender but make sure you don't kill them even with a bleed. 2. You cannot eat animals. You can only eat vegetables and mushrooms. Alcohol is all vegan therefore is okay. Grains and wine will be your prime nutrition bread and wine. 3. You must have always choose the boy scout options. You cannot allow someone to kill or let anyone die. Even robbers and killers. 4. You cannot loot bodies. It's very unchristian. It's a commandment that's brought up every now and then. Robbing a body is wrong. And too many gamers have become too desensitizied to doing it. You will realize how hard it is to have any money at all. 5. You cannot pick locks or pickpocket people. Unless you're playing the noble thief who steals to avoid killing, conflict and injuring people. 6. You cannot accept rewards from others if you have the choice not to. Some rewards are given without a choice those are okay. Just make sure to donate them to the poor once you fitted yourself out. 7. Herbalism is okay but Alchemy is unchristian. Unless it's a means to save people's lives you cannot use it for any other purpose. It's witchcraft. Only time you're allowed to use it is for that specific quest. But greatest roleplay.

Wish there were more bow techniques to learn

I absolutely love Kingdom Come Deliverance but recently my SSD just stopped working and I haven't saved kcd to the cloud so that's 200hr gone and now I have to start from the beginning but to be honest I don't mind because I love this game.

I just finished to watch this game gameplay, it was better then movie, amazing story, graphics, guy which played it was kind of funny but totaly clumsy player, no skill in anything, I didnt even know there are more camera views in this game, you playing it exactly like I would, nice still killer, bow and knife 🏹🗡

I recently decided I hate life, and elected to play as Hard Core Henry (hardest difficulty setting with all the negative perks) hopefully this experience will bring be much misery 🤣

I want a Kingdom Come game but in a fantasy setting, maybe if magic is in it can do some konami code type stuff to cast spells. I dunno I just want fantasy with these combat mechanics lol

So all you gotta do is kill people 10-20 feet away from the group and they will just hang around yelling "to arms! get over here!" "alarm!" "raise the alarm!" while you pick them off one by one? Has the AI gotten any better since this video? cause that is absolutely terrible

Robin hood doesn't wear armor and he also doesn't spend his time hunting bandits because he is technically an outlaw himself. He wears only clothing and "robs" from those with more wealth than they need and donates it to those in need
