"Too big to fail" describes a phenomenon in economics of a corporation or financial institution that is too encompassing and/or integral in an economy for a governing body to allow the collapse of due to the resulting economic disaster. In addition to being thematically appropriate for a game involving a corrupt megacorperation and a stealth pun (the boss this plays during is a giant robot), it's a fun play of the original licensed song called a million. (Literally 1,000,000)
Also, a really funny coincidence for a song like this, when you look at all the megacorporate banks that have recently lost a significant portion of their depositor's money, got ran trough with bank runs, and are now scrambling for any sort of "bailout". Too big to fail, indeed...
@@diamondisland2023 Stealth pun is a kind of pun that isn't exactly obvious until you figure it out. A good example I can immediately think of is the recipe items from Dota 2. The items have the logo of the Combine faction from half life 2 on it (a shout out for valve's other property), which is a stealth pun because you use the recipe to _combine_ items into one.

depends. Because these are cool but the game was literally built around the licensed songs. And then these songs were built around them as well. So for some they work just as well if not better. But others are so much better with the original. Namely the Nine Inch Nails songs and the Invaders Must Die moment

Because people are using streamer mode for the game in their videos, this is the song I’m hearing more and…god this is SUCH a good song. I love its biting satire, and it’s one hell of a banger. I want to play the game with its licensed tracks, but knowing how good the original songs are I really can’t decide!! Mad that somehow having $30 on the day of this game’s release was somehow beyond me. Once I’ve got that cash this is going in my shopping cart (Very late edit: I own the game now btw. It’s great. Surprisingly exhausting to play but I don’t play a lot of “character-action” games, or whatever you know a DMC-like as)

'Hi-Fi Rush" what a beautiful game and to think that this game was perfect, without any bugs, without any silly mistakes, you can feel the care songs. this could be easy, an animation.
No I had a bug. When you grapple hook the giant wolf boss when his back is against the glass wall in the vault and go to flip over him to confuse him he kinda sent me into the gold vault. My fight uh. Slightly ended.
There is also one at the start which you can use to skip straight to getting your clothes (and fall into the endless void) Other than these 2 (including previous comment) there are literally no other bugs i know
There was one where i got stuck in purgatory in one of the rooms before you get introduced to z shielding. I managed to clip through in between the seam of the large circle in the middle by launching a flying enemy on the edge and grappling to them
There's also a random chance Chai won't high-five Korsica against Roquefort and just float above collision until he falls through the floor (by doing basically anything), and I've seen videos of Rhythm Dodges not working entirely and forcing the person to restart. The game is extremely polished but could use a healthy patch.
I had a bug when fighting Korsica, somehow I got desynced and her attacks were no longer hitting me and I started to get closer to her. I wanted to see how far I cloud go and ended going in a circle but unfortunately never in the correct spot to resume the fight. I think the bug happened after I got revied by the health bottle or what ever its called, anyway didn't lose much progress since verse 3 is quite short compared to the first 2.
Gotta say just listened to 1,000,000 by NIN for comparison and tbh would rather this song in game. 1 mil is great don’t get me wrong but it has a heavier feeling (at least lyric wise) while TBTF is much lighter and more fun. Also the simple “TOO BIG TO FAIL!” Really helps this stand out.
I absolutely love the feel and sound this game has. Each specific area is centred around a certain genre/sound and topple it with the astonishing cutscenes this game has and this is honestly the closest comic book/anime-themed combat game that also holds such a strong emphasis on music and rhythm. 10/10 game, sleeper hit if not a breakout success, the latter of which is already apparent. At first when I played the game I thought that the licensed songs would be the only song I would listen to and that the original tracks could not compare. Until I heard the originals. Now I just can’t decide.
I first heard this song I immediately fell in love with the games OST and with the reveal of a new JSRF I couldn't help but get hyped for games like this
I really love how it doesn’t feel like these unlicensed songs don’t feel like a cheap afterthought. They actually took the time to make some fucking bangers despite already having licenses for songs to put in these bosses just for the sake of streamers’ well being. Absolutely amazing.

If I could get add to this game, there wouldn't be much, but there is some stuff. A proper New Game Plus option or at least a more complete re-watch of the story without needing a new file, for instance. But also... A custom tracklist option of Streamer vs Non. I hate to admit, I might actually want this and Mimosa's cover songs over the originals, for instance.
