I have a 7 inch wrist and it wraps around nicely. I have 44 mm Amvox2 in titanium = so light. The side profile of the watch (which is rarely discussed yet the way we see our watches frequently) really nice with the squared off crystal. Buy it, enjoy it, you can sell it later for the same price but I think u just might keep it…

JLC could sell an automatic vertical clutch column wheel chronograph that is exactly as compact as the Rolex Daytona because they already put the Cal 751 in the Ralph Lauren 39mm Sporting Chrono which does just that.
Hey Mark, I would love to see you do a segment on Dornbluth & Sohn, a truly hidden gem German watchmaker since few people have ever heard of the brand. Their movements are stunningly beautiful and their customer based philosophy is extremely rare. Please check them out. Cheers!
I am going to have to learn more about them, very traditionally German in the design (which is a good thing), I really like the markers and hands on the Quintus-2010 Jubilar. -Mark
@@CrownandCaliber Depending on the model, they can also be quite reasonably priced. In 2020 I purchased from them a Caliber 99.1 - Medium watch with a 40mm case diameter (I believe their standard case size is 42mm), and it only cost me 3,800 Euros. Obviously that's still a lot of money, but for a handmade German watch, that is incredibly inexpensive.
@@CrownandCaliber Thanks Mark! No sooner did I leave that comment that I saw one available on Chrono for under $10K (which just sold recently I believe). Crazy good value for a watch originally prices in the mid $20k range.
I'm not an Aston Martin guy but the watch does some interesting things. I hope they come our with a more conventional version of it that uses the same technology.
I honestly LOVE the look of Jaquet Droz and they do not get much attention. The real hidden gem in the collection is the Grande Seconde Chronograph, rare to see a different layout in a chronograph and the retrograde date. I honestly want one in my personal collection one day. -Mark

Pure personal choice, I think the Orient is a little cleaner in looks and feels a little more timeless. If you can save up and get something with a sapphire crystal it would serve you well over time. Think Unimatic, Tissot, Hamilton, and Seiko. Good luck -Mark
