You would think it would be obvious to take a walk, pray, etc. when encountering a craving, but I never thought of it. Thanks! I do get an upset stomach from stevia from time to time.
I went almost 15 years a sugarphobe . Once I started to add sugar and carbs I came back to life. Now realizing that we are all different in so many ways. Sugar isn't bad as I thought. My anxiety went down a whole lot from low carb keto carnivore to sugar and carbs. I'm amazed at what sugars can do for me
Try fruit for sweetness. The fiber, enzymes and other phytonutrients help add the extra energy without so many bad effects. But I like sugar too. I binge on ice cream once in a while, so not judging.....just regretting it this week.
@Kwildcat13 I stopped doing carnivore because I am very active and my output was lacking with fruit and starches back plus a bit of refined sugar my cortisol dropped and my sleep Improved. Diet is not one size fits all. Find what works
He’s explaining the hidden sugars in most Americans diets. The other thing is they put sugar in things that is by another name. It’s very easy to miss that we’re actually all over doing the wrong sugars. I like raw glyphosate free honey, coconut sugar and maple syrup not in excess. This is in milk usually so it has the fat and proteins to slow it down, but I won’t eat processed food or anything else that has sugar added. An animal based diet for me! Whole Foods one ingredient that I put together. It’s easier and simpler than they think! You can make condiments with yogurts and not have any added seed oils either. I won’t eat out unless desperate because this just introduces so many issues from the way they prepare it ( seed oils), non organic, freshness and just plain non nutritious.
Hey Dr Axe, could you please do a lesson on many injuries in body coming from sports? I got tendonosis and had sprained ankles, my twin has cartilage damage with just 17 y/o. And the injuries don’t really heal. For some reason we started having many food allergies all of a sudden after living in the US for some time, do you happen to know the reason for that?
How about focusing on protein with fat, would heal those muscles made of protein? Sugar and carbs (that turn into sugar) can cause your gut to become leaky and develop allergies, even life threatening ones. Cutting out all sugar and carbs can slowly reverse. Might have to do zero carb or carnivore to heal.
Stevia is best to stay away from. Most packages of Stevia add alcohols like Maltodextrin and Erythritol that have been known to 'gum' up your digestive tract and intestines. Stick to more natural sugars like Honey or Coconut palm sugar
@@qui_etes_vous so throughout the video he explains different tips to help you wean off sugar. He didn’t give a ten step list or anything, He gave alternative things to use and things to do to help you stop craving sugar therefore detoxing from sugar.
Staying away from anything that causes addiction begins the detoxification. Using natural sweeteners will help the cravings and excersiing will help you to sweat. When you sweat you are detoxifing your body.@@qui_etes_vous
