High Uinta Backpacking

My nephew and I made it out on another backpacking trip. We were out for two nights and three days and had a great time. Fishing our first day was a bust but we both got into some fish our second day. We had a great camp with no one else around.

Such a cool area. I knew there had to be some good fish on that hillside. Way to go on that tiger. Beauty. Were the fish you could see at the lake you camped by pretty nice?

Yes the fish in the lake we camped at have historically been very healthy. Most of the activity was in the middle and once again left the float tube home. I had to pack a lot of the kids stuff so I didn't have room.

Nice, I just got back from the Uintas myself. I've been up in the high country the past 7 weekends in a row--5 in the Uintas, one in Wyoming and one in Colorado. It's looks like you had to deal with some weather. The trip i just got back from was Sun, rain, hail repeat over and over haha

Dude, that's awesome you have been out so much. I have been out more than my channel reflects just took a little break from the camera. I've got a trip planned next weekend which should be fun though.

I love that spot! I didn’t make it up there last year. Looks so green this year! Nice Cuttys! That tiger was pig! Good to hear the bugs are finally letting up!

It is a great spot for some solitude but it's a tough lake to fish. They are in there and big, just picky.
